"What do you want with me?" Jungkook asked in a demanding voice.

He was not scared. He figured out that whoever these people are, they want to take him alive. They will fight but not to kill. That made Jungkook have a huge advantage  over them. Cause he doesn't have such a restriction.

No one answered and they came at him, all at once. Jungkook started to fight, even though he knows that the odds are not much in his favour when it's 15 against 1. They fought for about a minute before there was a sound of running and prince Taehyung with Hoseok and the rest of the guards came bursting through a door.

The guy who was closest to Jungkook, pulled a knife and put it against his neck.

"Stay back! Or I'll kill him." The man said and everyone halted in their tracks.

Jungkook eyes only saw the prince but the prince was not looking at him. His gaze was fixed on the man who had the knife and it seemed like the prince was doing some thinking.

Suddenly, the prince gave a little laugh.

"No you won't. If that's what you were after, you would have done it long time ago." Taehyung said in what seemed like a calm and collected voice but the emotions behind it was very clear.

The crown prince was seriously angry.

"You can't kill him, can you? Did that bastard asked to bring him alive?" Taehyung mused again in a soft voice as he took few steps closer to Jungkook.

The man looked troubled and every one could see that the prince said the truth. Taehyung stepped even closer. The man sneered and pressed the knife even harder to Jungkook's neck.

"Well, it's true that I have to take him back alive but his condition was not Uhhh...specified. Maybe I can leave an eye behind?

The man slowly dragged the knife across Jungkook's face and brought it really close to Jungkook's eye. He tilted the point forward so that the tip was pointed at the eye.

Jungkook refused to close his eye and  could almost feel the tip touching his eye ball. He stood really still and focused his attention on the prince to steady his breathing.

"Now let us go! Or I'll pull his eye out with the knife." The man said in a commanding voice but Taehyung laughed again.

"Oh please!! We both know you're not going anywhere. Let him go and I might consider killing you quickly." Taehyung said in his quiet, intimidating voice.

The man darted his face from side to side as if he's looking for an escape route and the knifed hand slipped down a bit. The knife glazed across Jungkook's face and he gave a low hiss as it cut in to his cheek a bit.

A tiny droplet of red blood ran down Jungkook's cheek. It was visible to every one against the younger's fair complexion .

Taehyung looked at that tiny blood drop as it slid down a little on Jungkook's cheek and stoped just above his cheek bone. He had a blank expression when he looked up to see the man.

"I want you to do something for me." Taehyung said in a deadly voice and everyone present felt a chill in their bones.

"I want you to think of the person, who matters to you most. The one person that you would do anything to keep safe. Maybe your child, lover or family. How about a brother, a sister.."

The man's demeanour changed slightly and the prince was quick to catch on that.

"A sister? Ok. Can you clearly picture her face? Now I want you to listen to me very carefully. You do whatever you want with him. But know this.."

The prince took few steps closer to the man so that he can clearly hear him. The entire room held it's breath as the waited for the prince to speak.

"Every single thing that you will do to him, I will have it done tenfold on your sister." The prince let his words hang in the air a bit as everyone fully comprehended the meaning of it clearly.

"That little cut.. I will make ten of them on your sister's face. For every time your filthy hands touched him, I will have her touched in tenfold, in the exact same manner. That is inevitable, no one will be able to stop that."

The man's hands were shaking a bit now and he unconsciously pulled his knife back a bit. Everyone else was scared too as they have never seen the prince this angry.

"Now, if you don't want anything else to be done to your sister, step back and let him go! And I'll consider to stop at that. If you decide to continue with what you are doing, your sister and everyone else that you have even remotely cared about, will go through something so terrible.. that they will beg me to kill them."

Entire room stood in icy silence after the prince was done with his declaration. There wasn't a single ounce of doubt in anyone's mind that the prince will carry it out. He had this strange aura, like of an angel, whose wrath was just about to be descended from heaven.

The man looked down in defeat and pulled his hand around from Jungkook. He took a step to the side and looked at the prince.

"A little more to the side, I don't want your blood on him." Taehyung said in the same deadly tone and the man took few more steps away from Jungkook.

Everyone watch as the prince raised his hand and shot the man, right between his eyes. The remaining intruders quickly surrendered themselves.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook and his deadly demeanour changed to a concerned one real quickly. But Jungkook looked back at him with a angry glare and Taehyung realized that he had some explaining to to.

Jungkook wordlessly walked away and Taehyung followed him. Hoseok followed them with a few meters distance.

They walked for few seconds in silence before Jungkook finally spoke up.

"I want to see the king and queen."

Taehyung doesn't answer but leads them to the kings chambers. Once they reached there and Taehyung opened the door, Jin ran to them and pulled Jungkook in to a tight hug.

"Oh my God!! I'm so glad you're ok. Why did you do that Jungkook?? What if something happened to you?" Jin said in a worried voice as they pulled out from the embrace.

Jungkook gave a soft smile at that. "What if I stayed and something happen to you? Or the king?"

Jin shook his head and released the younger man. Jungkook gave a slight nod and walked towards the king and gave a bow. Namjoon had a relieved look on his face.

"I'm glad you're not harmed, Jungkook. That was a stupid thing to do." Namjoon said in a soft voice and Jungkook smiled at him too.

"I'm sorry to worry you, your majesty." Jungkook said with a smile.

Taehyung looked at this interchange with a frown. There was no way Jungkook would be this calm right now. Something was wrong.

"Kook." Taehyung called in a soft voice but Jungkook didn't respond to that. He went and apologized to Yoongi too, for doing such a reckless thing.

"Kook." Taehyung said little loudly this time but still Jungkook didn't even look at him.

Taehyung then went to him and held him by his arms. "Hey.. are you angry with me? I'm sorry Kook." Taehyung said in a soft voice.

He tried to look at Jungkook but the younger avoided his gaze.

"Please... talk to me.. I'm really sorry. Will you please look at me." Taehyung said in a small voice and Jungkook snapped his head at him.

He roughly pushed the prince away. Taehyung stumbled few steps back and looked at the younger in surprise.

"What are you sorry for??!! Are you sorry for hiding everything from me, when everyone else knew that I was the one they were after?? Are you sorry for lying to me for over a week?? Keeping me in the dark and making a fool out of me?? Or are you sorry for using your power as the prince to send me away tonight?? Which one are you sorry for??" Jungkook was slightly yelling at the end of it.

"Everything.. I'm sorry for everything Kook. Except I didn't mean to make you feel like a fool. I did it to keep you safe. I just wanted you to be safe." Taehyung tried to explain it to the younger but his heart was clenched in fear. Something was really wrong.

"I told you million times, I'm not some damsel in distress for you to protect. And you didn't keep me safe. You, infact, put me in this danger. You put the king and queen in danger. You put everyone around me in danger by your stupidity."

"No, kook listen to me.. please let me explain, damn it!!"

"You had over a week to explain. Had you told me about what was happening, we could have made a better plan. I could have made better decisions rather than running away like a fool. When I finally knew, there was nothing else for me to do than to run away, to take the danger away from others."

"You said we were stronger together. You said we will be unstoppable together. If you had really believed that, you wouldn't have sent me away tonight."

Jungkook seemed to be fuming with anger but everything he was saying was true and Taehyung had no comeback to offer.

"Did you enjoy making me dance like a puppet? Did you enjoy making plans about my life when I just stood like an ignorant fool? I had a right to know! I had a right to know and take decisions about my life, I'm not your property."

"Enough Jungkook, you're taking this too far. Yes I'm sorry for hiding everything from you but I did it to protect you. What would you have done if you were in my place?"  Taehyung snapped back little angrily this time.

"I would have told you what was happening. Then we would have found an answer together." Jungkook's voice was a little more than a whisper.

All the fire had gone from him and that scared Taehyung even more than the younger's yelling.

"You said we were equal. But when the time came, you just ordered me around. I won't ever have a choice but to obey you." A tear fell from Jungkook's eye and Taehyung felt his heart clench.

"Don't say it like that baby, I'll promise I will never-"

"Don't make promises you can't keep, your highness."

"Kook, please..."

"I want to go home"

"W-what?"

"I want to go home. I can't stay here, it's suffocating me. Let me go home." Jungkook look at the prince with a pleading but Taehyung shook his head.

"I-I c-can't Kook. It's not over yet."

"I don't care!! I'm going home." Jungkook said with a stubborn look and the prince knew he meant it.

"No!! You will not set a foot out of this palace until I say so!!" Taehyung thundered but then immediately realized what he had done.

He looked at Jungkook with horrified eyes but the younger just gave him a sad smile.

"As you wish, your highness. I'll be in my room."

With that, Jungkook slowly left the room and Taehyung knew that this time, he had screwed up really bad.
