Life is soo unpredictable. You never know what's the next surprise you will receive. Smiles or tears? Happy or sad? Firm or broken? But atlas life goes on. What matters is your concern, commitment and dedication to realise your own worth.

Rehab too was experiencing the same, first the grief of his younger sister's sudden death. And than, Rooh's sudden departure to Ruhaan's native place. He loved Rooh, since the very first day, his sister brought her into their mansion.

It was something called love at first sight, but now the things were changed but his feelings were not. He can't hate her, but the  trust he holded for her was vanished completely. Leaving him in a dark place.

"I loved her!!" He yelled being all insane! He was hurt, broken and lost his charm!

His mother stared at his hurtful face. Her heart ached seeing her most goofy boy being this sad.

"She is gone for good Rehab" she whispered caressing his hair.

"And you think the pain I am bearing is bearable!? Just because I never thought straight of it? How can you do this mom?" He whispered unbelievingly.

"They are meant to be together " she whispered back holding his hand.

"And what about your son!?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Apko toh koi bhi...

"Koi bhi nhi chahye muje!!" He roared angrily. Shutting his room doors, he cried like a child who lost his favourite toy.

Neziha couldn't see her son in such situation, she ran to his room. Banging the door, she managed to enter.

"Rehab I can't afford to loss you! Rooh ko sirf Ruhaan hi.

"Kyuuuu!!! Kyuu!! Mom!! Ruhaan hi kyu!!" He yelled with bleeding heart.

"Kyuki Rooh ki galti nhi thi! Apki bhen hamla thi! ( pregnant) uske kokh me Shahmeer ka bacha pal rha tha! Nisa dheere dheere hum sabko batata chahti thi, lekin uss din Shahmeer ne aakr usse sach batane ko kaha tha lekin wo apni zid pr atal thi.. isme Rooh masoom h Rehab, galti Nisa ki hi thi!" Neziha whispered with tears.

Rehab couldn't digest the fact, that he mother knew what Nisa was doing, she was playing with Ruhaan's feelings and also kept him away from Rooh.

"Aur apne ye sab ab btaya!?" He whispered with bitterness.

"Ruhaan ko Rooh hi smbhal sakti h, Nisa jiss dal dal me phasi thi usse Ruhaan ki image , reputation or uska dil sab tut jata, kya tumne nhi dekha Wo kitna chahta tha Nisa ko? Wo ek achi ladki deserve krta h" she said cupping his cheeks.

"Toh apne meri mohabbat ki bali chara di?" He said chuckling bitterly.

His mother shooked his head.

"Aesa nhi h beta, mene apke ke liye apki tarah ek ladki dhundi h, Shahmeer ke jaane ke baad uski bhen Roohi yateem ho gyi h, uska saath tham lo" she said with hopeful eyes.

He just stared at his mother's face.

"Ap sab janti thi na!? Btaye? Hena?" He asked being more hurt now.

"Nisa ke accident ke baad mene sab pta karna hi mansoob smjha" she said looking down being guilty.

No words formed, he just hugged his mother and cried like a child! A 35 years old man was crying like a child.

1 month passed.

Rooh was sitting gazing the nature, life was changed since this whole month, she was living with his family. They treated her like their own daughter. She felt loved and respected.

Breaking the chains of thoughts, Ziya Ruhaan's mother entered her room with a tray full of mouth watering breakfast.
Rooh stood up nervously smiling.

"Beta nastha time se kara kriye ap, aese bhuke rehna acha nhi" Ziya said politely making her sit on the bed.

Rooh smiled at her warmth. "Ap bhot achi h Zee ma, ap humara kitna khayal rakhti h, itna khayal aaj tak humari sagi maa ne nhi kiya" Rooh whispered softly, sadly.

"Hum hena? Ab jaldi se nastha karlo, Eira warna humri bhi class laga dengi, unhe bilkul sad hona pasand nhi h" Ziya said making her giggle. As Eira, Ruhaan's younger brother's wife, was her second mother. Ziya was first.

"Aree mera bacha uth gya, Masha Allah, kitna noor h chehre pe" Eira said giggling, pulling her cheeks. Rooh giggled at her warm embrace.

"Or Rooh apko zyda akele nhi rehna chahye, humare sath betha karo, kitni baar kaha h" Ziya said shaking her head frowning.

"Akele? Mama apke hospital jane ke baad me isko roz baking karne ko deti hu, isse ye bore bhi nhi hoti h, or sadness durrr" Eira said patting her cheek.

Rooh nodded smilingly.

Meanwhile Ruhaan came searching his mother. He cleared his throat gaining everyone's attention. Rooh, ignored him like always she does since the day one.

"Mamma, baba bula rhe h" he said and Ziya nodded.

"Or Haan bhai aj subha subha tyar shayar hokar kaha chale?" Eira asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"Wahi jaha apka shohar jata h" he said chuckling at her.

Rooh was quietly having her breakfast. She didn't dared to look at him. His moron.

"Haa wo toh h, lekin uske liye apko apni honi wali biwi se puchna toh chahye na ki aj ap kese lag rahe h?" Eira said teasingly.

Ruhaan stared at the pale girl, who was his soon to be wife.

Rooh shivered at his gaze, soul piercing gaze on her.

"How are you?" He whispered softly making her frown.

"Zinda hu" she whispered looking down. Ruhaan clenched his jaw. He took calculative step towards her.

Holding her arm in a tight grip, he gripped her chin harshly, "tameez se"

"Bhaad me jaaye ap! Or apki tameez!" She spatted on his face! With tears in her eyes.

"Kitna jhutt h apki rag rag me! Ghinn aati h hume apse!!" She whispered angrily.

As he was something else infront of gis parents and behind them he was a beast. Beast who hates her, loves to ignore her but couldn't.

"Shutt the hell up!" He spatted making her shiver.

"Hum koi gudiya nhi h! Jo ap khenge wo karenge!" She said glaring at him.

He clenched his jaw, before he could say anything, she ran out. He glared at her and followed her.

"Ze maa hume library jana h" she said breathing heavily.

"Achanak? Thik h beta jao" Ziya said fixing her glasses.

"Me drop kr deta hu" he said shoving his hands in his pocket and that smirk.

Ziya nodded smilingly. Rooh shrieked at his smirk.

And half-hearted she followed him.

"Muje ye chuhe billi ke khel me koi dilchapsi nhi h" he said putting his seat belt.

She ignored his words and stared out of the window.

"Meri maa se or Eira se dur raho" he said driving.

"Apki tarah zehrili nhi h hum, jo dur rahe h!" She whispered to herself playing with her dupatta.

He clenched his jaw and tightened his grip on the wheel, "suna mene" he said glaring at her.

She shivered and quickly turned to other side.

He shooked his head and his mind went back to the night when Rehab called him. Stating the truth. It was the same night when Ruhaan's flight landed here.

But he didn't believed him.

Pulling up near the library he sighed heavily.

"Jao" he said checking his phone.

10 mins passed, he kept his phone on the dashboard and saw Rooh sleeping peacefully on the passenger seat! He frowned at her.

"Ajeeb ladki h kahi bhi soo jati h" he thought, as he has been noticing her sleeping anytime anywhere throughout this 1 month.

He was used to her back anwers as Eira was teaching her well. But still the innocence her personality holds did something a flip flop with his heart.

He just stared at her innocence.

"Kaash me iss masumiyat par bharosa kar leta, lekin tume meri Nisa ka dil lekar muje jo aziyat di h wo bardash ke qabil nhi" he thought and clenching his jaw he drove back to his haveli.

While here, Rehab was done with his morning routine. His mother asked him to pick Roohi from her hostel. As it was her last day at hostel, her 12th was complete now. Throughout this whole month, Rehab never dared to check her picture his mother gave him.

"Kams kam aaj toh uski photo dekhlo, bina dekhe kese pehchanoge usse?" Neziha asked her son.

Rehan ignored her words and after having breakfast, he drove to his office. Completing the work. He finally managed to see her picture. His heart dropped! She looked exactly like Rooh!

"Ab ye konsa khel khel rahi h meri kismat!" He spatted angrily.
