Sia stares emotionless at the man who just assaulted her. He is laying on the ground now which leave her surprised not that her emotion are evident on her face. How did he end up there?
Another man jumps on him and kicks him hard. She can't make out his features as he has his back towards her. The man drags him up and punches his face hard enough for it to break. He continues to punch him and the man just gives out shrieks. Sia can actually hear cracking sounds of bones. She can hint blood from the mans forehead and the corner of his lips when the streetlight reaches his face.
Sia just stand there frozen and see the man being beaten up black and blue. To be honest, she actually feels relieved.
"Will you ever touch a woman again?" Sahir growls and Sias eyes widens hearing his voice.
The man shakes his head. "No, never. I am sorry." The man mumbles while gasping for breath.
"What do you want me to do with him?" Sahir asks Sia and Sia looks baffled. "My question is if I should let him go or call the cops." Sahir turns his head to Sia and asks her sternly.
Sia looks at Sahir emotionless. "Let him go." She says without thinking through.
Sahir frowns and let go of his grips on the mans collars. The man falls with a thud to the ground and winces. Sahir runs a hand through his hair while giving him a deadly glare.
"If I ever see you again, you'll be behind bars." Sahir warns with his cold eyes sternly fixed at the man.
The man nods and crawls up on his feet. He starts to limp away while Sahir looks at the back of the man. Sia looks away while her red coat matches her cold red cheeks. She feel embarrassed as Sahir have seen her at a vulnerable state. Her body have somehow composed and her heart is now beating regularly.
Sahir looks at her with concern evident in his soft voice. "Are you alright?" He whispers to her.
Sia slightly nods while still looking away. She can't comprehend the feeling of being exposed and somehow she feel disgusted by herself.
Sia doesn't like to be the damsel in distress having to be saved by a guy. "How come you're here? You didn't need to save me, I can handle myself." She utter while her guilt pricks her to thank him.
Sahirs eyes turns dark as he looks at Sias profile with furrowed eyebrows. He can't believe she isn't even showing the slightest bit of gratefulness when he literally just saved her. What would have happened to her if he didn't reach in the nick of time and punched the creep away from her? He can't digest the ungratefulness of the girl in front of him.
As a reflex he turn his head back to the guy. "Hey wait!" Sia hears Sahir call which makes her startled.
Sia looks up at Sahir with her almond eyes filled with confusion. Sahir is looking at the back of the the man who is walking away from them with hurried steps. The man turns around realizing that Sahir called him.
Sia and the man wait anticipating for what Sahir has to say. "She is all yours." Sahir calls out and Sias eyes widens while her jaw drops.
Sahir turns around and start to walk away. Sia grabs his arm with hammering heart. "What are you up to?" she asks him scared and looks at the man who just harassed her.
The man is looking at them confused but he isn't leaving. Instead he starts to take a few steps towards them. Sias grip around Sahirs arm tightens and she literally push herself into him that even air can't pass through them.
Sahir tries to walk away but Sia clings to him. "I thought you could handle this all by yourself?" Sahir hisses between clenched teeth while glaring at her.
Sias eyes starts to pool up when she is gazing into the cold eyes of Sahir. A panic attack breaks through her and she realizes how immature she was when not just thanking Sahir for rescuing her before. She might have been able to rescue herself but she would have needed to struggle more than what Sahir had too. Sahirs eyes softens seeing how terrified Sia is and seeing her suffocated he takes her hands in his.
He looks straight into her almond eyes while rubbing her hands. "Relax, breathe. He won't be able to hurt you. I am right here and won't leave. I wasn't intending to walk away, I was just annoyed and wanted to make you realize that you sometimes need to let go of your ego." Sahir says soothingly while Sia trembles and nods while she tries to breathe normally.
In real Sahirs words haven't even sunk in to her system. His soft dark eyes did though calm her down. The panic attack slowly let go of the grip around Sia and she is coming back to breathe normally.
The man is now standing beside them. "You called?" He says and makes Sahirs head snap to the right.
Sahir eyes is cold like ice and glares at the man. "How do you even dare to come back after all the beating?" Sahir spits out.
The man look startled. "But you called me?" He stammers and looks at Sia who have her eyes fixed to a car in front of her.
Sahir notices where the mans eyes are resting. "Don't look at her!" Sahir growls which makes both Sia and the man jump in surprise.
Sia looks at them and completely comes back to her senses. Her blood now starts to boil and she glares at the man. Without realizing she takes fierce steps towards the man and slap him across his face. The man and Sahir looks on astonished.
Sia glares and points a finger at him. "How dare you to touch me?! Don't you have any shame? Don't you have any respect towards your mother, sister or daughter?" She screams and without giving it a second thought she kicks him below the belt hard enough to break a stone.
The man turns red with wide eyes and let go of a shriek before falling to the ground clutching. Sahir looks on startled. His eyes wanders back and forth between Sia and the man. The turn of events have actually made him speechless. Sia glares at the man one last time and turns her heals. She looks at a surprised Sahir emotionless.
The wind swirls around them ruffling their hair. "I told you I can manage." She says emotionless. "But thanks for the help." She adds in sarcastically and start to walk away from there.
Sahir looks on numb. Looking at the man cry in pain makes him feel a bit uncomfortable. He turns around and start to jog to catch up to Sia who is walking fast.
Sahir takes hold of her wrist and spins her around. "Wait." He commands and he feels a stinging sensation on his cheek which makes him flinch back.
Sahir looks startled at Sia, her eyes filled with rage and frustration. He can't comprehend the fact that she just slapped him. Just the mere fact that someone slapped him doesn't go well with him. His jaw tightens and he fists his hands.
Sia glares at Sahir with full force. "Don't you dare to touch me! You're as disgusting as that man! How could you? How could you try to scare me in such a situation? I was vulnerable for a second and instead of understanding you tried to break down my ego?" She yells at him in frustration while her eyes get moist.
Sahir takes hold of her wrist and Sia gasps in pain. "Let me go!" She cries and her black scarf around her neck starts to dance in tunes of the wind.
Sias pleadings doesn't seem to reach Sahirs ears and he starts to drag her with him while Sia do her best to fight back. How much she even tries his grip on her wrist doesn't release and he succeeds in dragging her with him.
Sia begs beside his black Audi. "Please Sahir! Leave me! It hurts." He pushes her into the front seat and close the door with a loud bang.
