"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soulmate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life."

Even though Sia is laughing at Sahir he can't help to stare at her in awe. Her hand is covering her mouth and with closed eyes she is laughing at the same time trying to hold it back. Her eyes crinkles at the corners when she is laughing carefree and her dimples showing off. The corner of his lips twitches upwards without a second thought. Her laughter clinging perfectly in his ears and he has this urge to caress her cheeks, exactly where her dimples are. His heart is drumming so hard in his chest that he is sure it can be heard or even worse be seen.
Sia can feel eyes on her and suddenly looks up at Sahir with her soft brown eyes meeting his dark ones. Her laughter slowly dies down meeting his smiling but still intense eyes. Sias heart starts to ache and a warm feeling spreads from the pit of her stomach to every inch of her body. Sahir can't deny the warm sensation he feels seeing her right now, beautiful.
Josh doesn't say much and takes the necessary measurements for Sias engagement dress. Seeing the two staring at each other he snaps his fingers in front of them which jerks them out from their space out. Sia blinks her eyes rapidly and tucks her long hair behind her ears while Sahir takes out his phone to escape the embarrassment clearing his throat.
Sia knows that she can't have feelings for Sahir, he is everything she detests. Rude, arrogant, douchebag, jerk and a blackmailer. However, she can't deny the stupid effect he has on her.
Gulping she looks at Josh, offering him a soft unsure smile. "The measurements are done, you can come back tomorrow evening and take the dress with you." Josh winks at her with his blue eyes filled with teasing and she smiles letting out a breath she has been holding. "By the way congrats!" He adds for the upcoming engagement.
Gulping again she tries to compose her fluctuating heart. "Thanks Josh." she manages a bit shaky.
After a few decent hours of shopping Sia and Sahir manages to pursue everything needed for their outfits on their engagement. Except the jewelry set for Sias dress.
"Why can't I chose my own jewelry?" Sia had complained crossing her arms.
Sahir and shrugged. "Because I said so." His plain answer was.
"I want a real reason!" She had pushed annoyed.
In a second he had pulled her into his arms making Sia gasp in surprise. He bored his eyes into hers confused ones making her shut up. His hands resting on her back. "If you can let me decide your whole wedding attire without even taking a glance at it to see if you like it or not then you can trust me on some jewelry." Sia couldn't deny that, she hadn't bothered to look at the wedding package Shahirs family had sent to her to hurt Sahir. She didn't want to show him that she cared for the upcoming wedding or his choice.
Sahir continues while staring at her now soft honey brown eyes while people passes them on the street. "My reputation means a lot to me Sia. I hope you know that." He whispers. "For that reason I won't let my future wife look anything less than Royale." He says with seriousness etched to each word and Sia just stares at him. "All good?" Sahir questions raising an eyebrow and Sia nods not being able to think straight due to his closeness.
He lets her go and they start to walk towards the car again, the streets are busy today as the sun is shining brightly. This is the perfect day to enjoy a cold drink or a ice cream on.
They're in the parking lot beside his black Audi now. They put their shopping bags in the trunk of his car before Sahir closes it with a button on his car key, he receives a text message and stands still there.
Sia clears her throat. "By the way Sahir." Sia catches Sahirs attention from his phone, he always seem to be texting.
"Hm?" Sahir questions with a unreadable expression.
"Next time you decide to touch me, I won't be responsible for the consequences." She flashes a fake smile and to her surprise he smirks.
"That sounds like a challenge." He says and takes a step forward.
Sia takes a step back. "Sahir seriously, back off!" She says pointing her index finger at him.
"What? I want to see the consequences!" He teases with a mischievous grin which Sia raises a eyebrow at.
Sahir takes another step towards her and she takes another back. His steps quicken and so does hers. "Sahir seriously!" She says almost jogging backwards around the car. "Stop it!" She says and shows him her palm.
Sahir halts and chuckles, with two quick runs he takes a hold on her stretched hand to then pin her against the car. Sias eyes widens and she gets panicky. Sahir is holding her wrist in his both hands beside the car which she tries to break free from. He leans in which makes Sias blood pump violently. "Show me what you got." He teases smilingly and leans back to face her again.
Sia blinks a few times and tries to force her body to function properly. "I seriously don't get you." She starts and search for something in Sahirs now confused eyes. "Your words and actions contradicts. You're so bipolar. One second you hate me and want to take some kind of crazy revenge and the other second you act like my crazy lover." She verbalize astonished at his behavior.
Sahir stares at Sia dumbfounded with a drumming heart. He has been acting bipolar. "That's because I like to annoy and confuse you. This way I can hurt you when you least expect it." He states but he knows that it is only the business man who is good with words that is speaking, he knows that Sia has a spell on him.
She is the first girl going against him. She is the first girl bringing out his worst. She is the first girl ever not falling flat for his charm or wealth. She is the first girl he finds it interesting to fight with. She is the first girl rejecting him. She is the first girl he has no problem in spending time with. She is the first girl he finds amusing.
Sia rolls her eyes. "Yeah that's why you get jealous when a married man gives me a few compliments, and that too who is not interested in females." She snaps and he looks at her while being in deep thoughts.
He knew she wouldn't let that one go that easily. "I wasn't jealous and for the hundredth time, have you seen yourself? You're not my type!" Sahir claims and releases his grip from her.
He pushes himself away from her and takes out his phone again. Sia feels a bit offended but she doesn't show it. "No no you weren't jealous at all, and as I am not your type why not go on a date with Josh instead? That might work out well as maybe it was him you were possessive over?" She snaps at him annoyed.
Sahir looks up at her with a disgusted grimace as that gives him horrifying pictures. "Shut up Sia. I am very much straight. Just get the fact that I am not interested in you." He says with distaste and a shiver runs down his spine, he diverts his attention back to his phone.
Sia can't hold it back anymore. "Exactly my point! Why are you marrying me!? I don't want to get married to you Sahir! All of this is ridiculous! I am not even your type! You're ruining mine and your own life!" Sia yells and her voice echoes in the parking lot, Sahirs hands turns to fists.
Sahir turns his attention back to her again. "So what do you want? Get married to one of the other men proposing to you? Or your cosy friend Ahmed?" Sia frowns at his words while he snickers.
Sia holds up her hands defensively as if he is crazy. "What's wrong with you? I said I don't want to marry you! Why are you bringing up others?" She questions and realization hits her. "Oh my gosh you're jealous, aren't you?" She says astonished which Sahir frowns at clenching his jaw.
"I am not jealous, I am just asking you. What do you want to do? Do you have someone else in mind?" He questions with a unreadable expression, Sia gazes at him trying to figure him out. Sahir notices and rolls his eyes. "Sia just sit down in the car. We're already being late." He says opening the door for her and looking at his mobile again.
Sia stays quiet and sits down, her mind is on full run. His behavior doesn't add up. Why is he so adamant on marrying her? Just because a pity feud between them? This is not a way to take revenge.
Sia takes a glance at him, they're driving in silence and he seem lost in thoughts. Her other question is, why is she agreeing to marry him? Just because he blackmailed to ruin her family? Will she be able to spend the rest of her life with him? A loveless marriage?
They walk in to the banquette hall and is greeted by the manager there, Natasha. A tall professional woman with black blazer on, her tan and features suggests that she might be a Latino. "Welcome." In her office she shows them different designs of banquette halls. "What theme have you been planning on?" She questions.
Sia ponder for a moment. "I haven't thought so much about it but I want it to be colorful with lots of flowers. Yellow and golden color should be dominating with the color red giving it a contrast." She explains her wish.
"I do have a few suggestions with those color combination but with other colors involved too." She turns her laptop around. "What do you think about this design? I can change the colors so don't worry about that." Natasha questions with a really over the top design.
"No, that seem so messy. Something simple and elegant." Sahir says what Sia is thinking, she glances at him a bit surprised.
Natasha nods and shows them a few more. Either they're too simple or too tacky for their tastes. "This one!" Sia hypes at the same time as Sahir utters the word perfect. They both look at each other perplexed.
"Wow!" Natasha interrupts their moment and they turn their attention to her. "This is the first time a couple have the same taste." They shifts in their seats awkwardly. "I guess you both are soulmates for a reason." She adds smilingly.
Soulmates, that word lingers on in both their minds for longer than they intend to.
The design that they have chosen is simple but at the same time powerful. The drapes are in white fabric, with yellow and red flowers adoring the whole hall. A beautiful golden fountain is standing tall at the middle of the hall.
After going over all the details with Natasha and thanking her they leave. They have been quite and reserved since the arguments in the parking lot. Sahir doesn't believe in love and Sia doesn't think she can ever love Sahir. Despite their tangled feelings and thoughts they're getting married in a few days.
Sahir opens the car door for Sia and Sia halts in her movement staring at Sahir from beside the car hood. "What happened?" Sahir asks her worried with confusion evident in his eyes and the way his eyebrows are furrowed.
Sia stares at him intensely, searching for a answer in his cold dark eyes while her heart picks up its rate. "Sahir are you in love with me?"
