Her suspicion arose two days later though when she was at home and Sooho called her. In a frantic state, he told her that the bullies let it slip that Sieun had been in the hospital and was resting at home. Sooho had visited Sieun, pretending not to know, and decided to get revenge today. Yoojin's mind flashed red lights. How did Wooyoung know about Sieun, Youngyi and Sooho together? 'No way', Yoojin thought. But her fears came true when Sooho explained the situation.

On his birthday, Youngyi got a text from Beomseok but when she went to meet him, she was kidnapped by him and Youngbin's crew. They threated Sooho but Sieun found that text first and after destroying all evidence of it, he went in place of the other boy. That was why he had been missing all this time. And the end of that rushed story, Sooho told Yoojin that he was going to finish it once and for all.

"Let me come with you," Yoojin said, worry covering her voice. "Where are you right now?"

While she spoke, she stuffed on her shoes and grabbed her keys. She locked the house and ran to the direction of his place.

"I'm not home; I'm just, um, somewhere. I'm sorry, Yoojin. This is all my fault, and I should be the one in the hospital, not Sieun," Sooho's words caught in his throat as he tried to sound strong and hide his anger. "Don't try and find me. Just forget about me, okay? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you, but you deserved to know."

"Sooho! Don't you dare do this right now! We're friends and we help each other out no matter what. None of this is your fault... It's Beomseok's fault. Just tell me where you are."

"I'm sorry, Yoojin."

"Sooho!"

The boy hung up and Yoojin called his name into the empty phone. Her brother took over her and she let out a curse. Where would they be? Her fingers kept twirling around the ends of her hair while her eyes fluttered everywhere, trying to think of their location. They wouldn't go to Sooho's house to beat him up, not when his mum would be home. She tried calling Wooyoung, but he didn't pick up. Obviously. She tried Youngbin but he didn't pick up either. Sooho, Wooyoung, Youngbin and his friends.

That's it! Wooyoung always live broadcasted his fights no matter what. This was even going to be one of his greatest fights with his nemesis. She would be late arriving there, but it was the best she could do. Getting the app open on her phone, she searched for Wooyoung and immediately found his profile. He was live right now. She clicked on his video. It was her first time watching him fight and she trembled with trepidation.

As soon as it showed the place, she turned it off; that was all she needed. The boxing gym. Of course – how poetic. The camera had highlighted Wooyoung's handsome face and rippled, brown hair in a middle shot after he just turned it on, and it faced the large boxing ring. A daunting, cage-like square in dim lighting. Good, she wasn't too late. Pocketing her phone, she hailed down a cab and urged the driver to hurry there.

When she finally made it, she ran inside, pushing the door open with a bang.

"Stop!" she blurted out.

She paused to take a breath and survey the scene. All eyes had turned to her. Wooyoung was all sweaty and wore grey tracksuit clothes and black fingerless gloves. He was with Sooho up in the boxing ring. Beomseok stood in front proudly. Youngbin and his five friends stood adjacent to Beomseok.

"Yoojin, what are you doing here?" Wooyoung stuttered, now frozen.

"I swear to god, if you don't get down here right now, Wooyoung," Yoojin threatened with tears bursting to spill.

Wooyoung was at a loss at what to do. He never expected Yoojin to be here but it was a nightmare coming alive. The boy didn't want to fight in front of her, and Youngbin was just as anxious. However, the atmosphere seemed to keep Beomseok and Youngbin's friends on a high.

"Keep going," Beomseok shouted. "I already paid you and I'll triple it."

Beomseok immediately regretted it, not wanting to be a bad guy in front of Yoojin. But he was too far deep and he couldn't take it back when Wooyoung swung a light punch at Sooho. Reacting straight away, Sooho dodged it and punched the other boy. 'Let's finish this rivalry once and for all', Sooho thought.

They were already exhausted, and their bodies were like mindless zombies still going on. Yoojin couldn't help but cry when she saw the battered and bruised boys with blood around their mouths as if they were children playing with their mother's lipstick.

She ran forward to stop them, but Youngbin's friends grabbed her, blocking most of her view. Despite her struggle, she couldn't get through. Anger bubbled inside her. She felt weak. Why couldn't she do something and stop them?

"Stop it! I'll call the police!" she tried again but her feeble attempt was unheard.

She knew she couldn't though. The boys would stop her as soon as she got her phone out, and she didn't really want Wooyoung or Sooho to be in trouble.

Up on the stage, Sooho was winning. So, one of the guys reached under the red rope and pulled Sooho's leg. His body hit the floor with a thud, despite his arms trying to catch the fall. Wooyoung took the chance to send a last kick to his head. There was a crack and another thud as his head bounced on the floor. Then, it didn't move.

Wooyoung's energy was spent and even though he won, he didn't feel like he did. He knew he dug his own grave. Yoojin was going to hate him. Staring at the boy lying on the floor, guilt flooded in. This wasn't how it was meant to be. This wasn't right.

Beomseok's heart felt free, and he could breathe again. He finally beat the arrogant boy. Rushing with adrenaline, his skinny frame climbed into the boxing ring and stood over Sooho.

"Now who's the pathetic one?" Beomseok demanded. "Answer me. Go ahead. Say it again."

Sooho moved ever so slightly, squinting up at him dazed. His back was on the ground with his arms laid stretched out. Yoojin's eyes were blurry, and she wiped them roughly.

"Who do you think you are? Why do you always look at me like that?" Beomseok ranted. "Why do you look down on me?"

Yoojin felt pity for the boy, but it was no excuse to throw his stress on someone else.

"You need to wake up," Sooho struggled to speak. "Stop blaming others, Beomseok."

It was like the dying hero proving to the villain that he would always be better than him. Dissatisfied, the other boy scratched the back of his neck furiously. He couldn't take it anymore; his lips twitching in an angry frown.

"Stop calling my name, you fucking bastard," Beomseok spat.

He kicked and stomped on Sooho, abusing him with new, addictive power. The kicks echoed through the large, dark room. Three of the other guys excitedly joined Beomseok in kicking the boy. Wooyoung turned off his phone and stepped down from the ring; his fight was over. He stared at Yoojin, watching her protests. Even though they were metres apart, it felt like they were miles apart. He swallowed.

"How do you like that, you bastard!" Beomseok and the others yelled while they pounded Sooho.

Yoojin grappled with the thick boy who held her arms, but she couldn't get out. Her voice was getting even more sore. The sight of her bright friend being crushed absolutely squeezed her heart. 'Stop it, please' she begged in her mind.

"Sooho! Ahn Sooho!" she desperately shouted. "Stop, Beomseok!"

Youngbin finally approached her, telling her not to look. He looked down at her worried and tried to block her view again. But how could she continue to avoid the violence of teenagers? How could she turn a blind eye to these horrors? How could she turn away when it might be the last chance to do something or see someone alive again?

"Stop, Beomseok! This isn't you! This isn't right! Remember the bullies that hurt you. Don't become them," Yoojin yelled.

Then, everything paused like a movie. The shouting ceased and the kicking ceased – all that could be heard was the loud breathing from Beomseok. Yoojin's voice had cut through to him.

"Hey, you bastard," Beomseok exhaled as he slumped to the floor, all burned out.

Why wasn't there a response? The stubborn smirk or sparkle in his eyes?

"Oh Beomseok!"

The doors burst open, and Beomseok's driver entered, quickly digesting the scene. Everyone malfunctioned. The lanky boy slowly stood up, meeting the eyes of his disappointed caretaker. Everything slowly sunk in for Beomseok and he realised the mistake he made. The frightened look Yoojin was shooting him showed that he had become his worst nightmare – a bully.

"Ahn Sooho," one of the other guys called to the motionless body.

"Hey, he's not breathing."

Yoojin's lungs stopped working. Her legs buckled as she tried to take a step forward. Youngbin was there straight away to hold her, and he draped her arms around his shoulders to keep her up. The girl shook her head.

"No, Sooho. Sooho, please. It can't be," Yoojin stammered.

She tried to launch herself to him, but Youngbin held her back. Her twin's face was pained with worry – worry for his sister, and pity that she had to witness this. Wooyoung was aching even more, physically and emotionally. He stepped towards Yoojin to help her, but Youngbin backed him off with a shake of his head.

Youngbin's friends checked for themselves that Sooho wasn't breathing. They swore and stumbled back, saying that they needed to flee. After telling Youngbin to go, they scrammed.

That cracked Yoojin's heart even more. She nearly crumpled to the ground, but her twin pulled her up. Youngbin had told his friends he'd be gone soon – he just needed to get his sister to function. Beomseok was still standing with Sooho in the boxing ring. As Youngbin tugged Yoojin through the shadows, Wooyoung willed himself to escape, believing that Youngbin would take care of her.

"Yoojin! Get yourself together," Youngbin hissed at her. "We have to leave now. Do you want to be arrested? The police and ambulance will be here soon – he's going to be alright."

"Will he?" Yoojin breathed out.

"He will," Youngbin insisted, even though he wasn't sure. "They'll take care of it. Trust me."

Finally, Yoojin looked at her twin. His eyebrows furrowed with more emotions that he ever had. His hands gripped her arms desperately. She swallowed and nodded once. Not looking back, Yoojin let her brother lead her out the door. They left everything to the personal issues of Beomseok and the other man.

Yoojin couldn't sleep that night. Her mind was a mess as she tossed and turned endlessly, staining her pillow with tears.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

So... I've never read a Kdrama fanfic but decided to read a Weak Hero Class 1 one and I realised that I messed up the timeline so bad (more so in the next chapter, and it's probably so unrealistic). I haven't watched it in a while and I'm too busy with my full time job. I sincerely apologise for this but you know, something new, right? Always good to see spins to things XD

Thank you for your love. Feel free to show more love. Love y'all! *This was probs my fav chapter to write*
