One punch to the face. One punch to the gut.

The poor boy collapsed and curled up on the gravel. It didn't stop. The kicks to his stomach were wild and unforgiving. His glasses lay crumpled beside him. Shouts of anger soaked the air with the occasional pleas from the fragile boy on the ground.

The sunny day felt like an opposite world to this messy alleyway. Three tough boys towered over their classmate, who they had dragged away as soon as school had ended for the day.

The soft pit-a-pat of footsteps came speeding in. The culprit was a short girl with the same uniform and her straight, black hair swaying around her shoulders.

"Jeon Youngbin!" the little girl cried out. "Stop! Please."

She ran in front of the tall boy to shield the one on the floor. Even though she featured the same sharp eyebrows and defined jawline of the person facing her, the girl's innocent, round eyes were pleading for the violence to end. Youngbin, the seemingly leader of the three, frowned down at her with his face still filled with fury.

"Move, Yoojin," he demanded with only a pinch of tenderness.

The 9-year-old girl shook her head furiously. Her friends had always told her what Youngbin did, but it was her first time witnessing it in person. She didn't want to believe he was a bully but deep down, she knew the undeniable truth.

Jeon Yoojin and Jeon Youngbin were twins, but Yoojin was the younger one – always subject to the protective nature of her parents and brother.

"That's enough, Youngbin," Yoojin begged. "Please, let's just go home."

Youngbin scoffed, his eyes flitting around to control himself in front of his younger sister. "He was talking about you. This loser wanted to date you."

The venom in his voice made it sound like their classmate had committed a murder. In Youngbin's mind, no one could date his sister unless he approved. The girl was too young and innocent, always being nice and finding friends in everyone.

"That's not a reason to beat someone up," Yoojin protested before turning behind her. "Go. Now."

The boy on the floor gave a shaky nod before picking up his glasses and stumbling away. Yoojin let out a small sigh of relief before facing her brother again. He tilted his head, displeased.

"You know I'm just looking out for you, right?" Youngbin said softly.

"I know, but you can't scare away everyone," his sister replied. "What good does violence do? Don't be like how dad used to be. We're all humans who should treat each other as friends. And you can't stop people from dating me – I'll do what I want. If you care about me, you'd listen to me."

With one last look, she walked away. Youngbin's friends rubbed the back of their necks awkwardly and decided to head home too. The tall boy remaining kicked the wall before following.

Of course, the bullying didn't stop. Youngbin simply made sure Yoojin wouldn't see or hear about it, but he did take it a notch down.

While occupied with her studies and hanging out with her friends, she spent a lot of time drawing. She was fond of the arts and hoped to go to an art academy or university when she was older.

Just a few weeks later, she was spending a peaceful day in her room, adding to her sketch of a bouquet of camellias. Yoojin adored flowers, and as a romantic, they were her favourite to draw. With a delicate stretch and need for a snack, she stood up and exited her bedroom. As soon as she stepped out, she bumped into someone.

The 9-year-old girl blinked. It was a boy the same height as her. Youngbin's friends often hung out at their house, but she couldn't quite place her finger on this person. He definitely had not set foot in the house when she had, but perhaps, he attended the same school. His ruffled hair was a light brown like the bark of a tree, and his lips curled in an alluring smile. Yoojin couldn't help but gulp when she saw his small face and met his deep eyes.

"Hi," she breathed out.

"Hi," came his reply in a calm tone. "I'm Kang Wooyoung."

"I'm Jeon Yoojin."

The boy in jeans and a t-shirt nodded.

"I know. Youngbin's twin sister," he suspected, noting the way her eyes and smile resembled Youngbin's.

"Yeah. You must be his friend. I haven't met you before though," Yoojin's sweet voice made his heart skip a beat.

Wooyoung wasn't Youngbin's close friend, but they had known each other for a while. He was a quieter kid but the two both enjoyed each other as study partners.

"Mm," Wooyoung hummed. "It's nice to finally meet his sister that he sometimes talks about. It's my first time at his place and I can't find the bathroom."

That must've been why he was on the second floor. The Jeon siblings owed the luxury of living in a big house to their wealthy parents. But of course, it was tied with the responsibility to be successful and flawless.

"Just that door on the right," Yoojin pointed to a white door down the wide hallway.

The boy thanked her and followed her instructions. Returning to her original task, she headed downstairs to the kitchen and got an ice cream from the freezer – melon flavour, her favourite. Across from her, Youngbin was in the living room playing a game on their large, flatscreen TV. Loud sound effects reflected the shooting in the game as Youngbin's body was immersed in the story.

Yoojin stood over the kitchen counter, sucking on her dessert as she watched her brother. Hardly a minute later, Wooyoung descended the stairs, coming to stand with the young girl.

"Do you wanna play with us?" He asked her, causing her to look over at him.

At the sound of his voice, Youngbin, turned his head to the pair. His glance was quick before he returned to the action game.

"Ah, forgot to introduce you. Wooyoung, that's my little sister Yoojin. You can't hit on her. Yoojin, that's Wooyoung," said Youngbin half-heartedly.

Yoojin pursed her lips. She was always introduced as the 'little' sister even if they were born 4 minutes apart.

"Sure," Yoojin told Wooyoung boldly. "I'd love to play."

While she never played video games with Youngbin's friends, she had played it with just her twin before. She wasn't usually fond of the people Youngbin hung out with, but Wooyoung seemed tolerable so far.

Once she finished her ice cream, she joined the two boys who were already in the living room. Her brother was leaning against the right armrest of the sofa while Wooyoung lounged next to him. So, that left Yoojin to sit next to the new boy. He passed her the spare controller with a light smile. They started the game, and it took her a while to get used to it since she hadn't used it in a while. After a few rounds, she wasn't bad... but she wasn't great either.

"Shit, Yoojin. Pay attention," Youngbin groaned.

"Hey! No swearing," his sister reprimanded.

Wooyoung laughed, causing her to crack a smile. Her eyes were stuck on the TV but instead of being stressed, she enjoyed herself for once. They played many video games until the sun retreated and it was time for Wooyoung to go home.

The next day, Yoojin went to school early as she always did. She found it calming to draw outside at school and Youngbin liked to quickly escape their house – where the pressure from their parents was suffocating in every crevice. While he played basketball by himself, Yoojin sat on a bench near the court. Her sketchbook was cradled in her lap as she finished her drawing of camellias.

"Wow, you're really good," a voice behind her said.

Startled, Yoojin looked over her shoulder to find Wooyoung peering down at her work. His hair covered his forehead in a messy bunch that one could call slightly wavy, and his hands hung in the pockets of his pants. Staring at his eyes, she found that they were a shade of brown that almost turned black.

"Thank you," Yoojin blushed, looking down.

"What flowers are those?" he asked.

"Camellias – my favourite flowers. I always thought they were pretty. We have some pink ones in our garden, and I love the colour. It's my favourite colour."

Wooyoung liked hearing her talk – the way her eyes shined, and her lips automatically smiled when she discussed something she was passionate about. He asked if he could watch her draw and she said 'yes'. So, the boy sat next to her and pulled out a book, pretending to read so that he wouldn't distract her. His eyes would wander to her paper every few seconds as he observed the pencil lightly dancing along with grey strokes. He looked up at her face, smiling at the way her eyes would focus and she would lick her lips. They stayed this way until it was time for class.

The next few weeks, Yoojin found herself hanging out with Wooyoung more and more. It was quite unexpected, but she enjoyed his company while she drew before school. Sometimes, they even talked and played games together during lunch or went out to eat snacks after school. It was always peaceful and perfect.

So.... I never thought I'd be back here with a fanfic. (I'm hoping people who don't know Weak Hero Class 1 will like it too.) But basically, I watched the show and fell in love with Wooyoung/Cha Woomin and I've never felt this way before - I was so in love that I started making a story in my head and decided to write it. I didn't want to put it on this account but I couldn't be bothered making another so... sorry to my followers. (I'm alive and 21.)

I've almost finished writing the whole story but decided to put the first chapter up cos I'm too excited.
