"Baba main hospital jaa rhi hu, please maa ko inform kar dena" I say in hurry.

"Itna jaldi, is everything okay?" He asks concern.

"Ji baba, actually as you know Akshay Sir the HOD of the hospital unhone hi koi meeting rakhi hai, something about emergency department so I have to go early, mai jaati hu" I say and then I leave in my car.

Soon I reach the hospital, after leaving everything in my cabin and wearing the doctor coat I leave for the meeting room.

After sometime Akshay Sir enters.

many people were in the meeting.I just recognized the 3 nurses and Dr. Radhika, because they were the one who were gossiping about me some days ago (chap 13)

"We have to establish strong team work, in order to increase the success rate of emergency care , so the department has decided, to separate ZONES into A B and C these two will be three emergency teams, there will be three zones, YELLOW ZONE, GREEN ZONE these will be handled by team C, so by all the Juniors. You all can go now " He said the last part to the juniors who left from there.

Now we were just 4 doctors and 6 nurses.

"For the red zone we will have two separate teams, team A and team B. For team A Dr. Radhika you will be in charge , and for team B Dr Shivantika will be in charge" He said to us then he adds "you are free to choose your team but the teams should have the same number of members. " He said to the nurses and two doctors who were present there.

"Sir I'll go to Dr Radhika's team" A doctor says and went to her side just like that the three nurses who were gossiping went to her team as well, so now all the remaining people were in my team.

We left the room and the doctor in my team says.

"Hello mam, we are really happy to work with you, I'm DR. Niharika , and they are Minakshi,Simran and Jessica" She introduce herself and then the nurses.

"Nice to meet you, agar aab introduction Khatami hogaya ho, than we should go back to work" I say to them and then went to my cabin.

That's how I was. I liked professionalism in the hospital, no friends, no chit chats, just work. I may have sounded rude, but it was better this way, I could see by their expressions that they wanted to be my friends, and I didn't want to hurt them I never had any friends so I don't know how to talk or how to behave with someone who see you as one.

My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call, and when he saw the I'd a smile came to my lips.

"Where are you Shivantika?" Abhimanyu asks me in his sleepy voice.

"At the hospital" I say to him.

"You should have told me, I thought something was wrong" He says in his serious tone.

"I am sorry maan but you were sleeping so I didn't wake you up, you were so tired yesterday" I say to him.

"What did you call me" He asks me, I look at the phone in confusion but then I remember, I bit my tongue and told him "what did I call you? Abhimanyu hi to kaha hai humne"

"No you didn't you said something else, please say it, just one time. " He says his voice held urgency.

"Esa kuch bhi nhi hai, I think aapke phone pe network problem hai, accha ab hum phone rakhte hai, hume bohot kaam hai" I say to him smiling and then cut the call.

'Tum bhi na Shivantika kuch bhi bolti ho, seriously Maan?' I thought to myself while slapping my forehead.

Suddenly Simran the nurse in my team came inside my cabin without knocking and says.

"DR. Someone is causing a lot of chaos and he is calling you"

We both came out of my cabin, and went near receptionist where a man in his thirties and a women way older than him, maybe his mum, we're creating ruckus.

"Sir, Mam this is a hospital you can't behave like this here patients are resting now." I told him

"Dr.Shivantika, shukar hai ke tu agaay se, mhanne to laga tu aapna chehra dikhai gi nhi. Subha se sabse puch rha hu, ki meri lugai (wife) ko 2 din Kahe rakha hai hospital, bina bimari btayee." He says angrily.

"Calm down sir please tell me you wife's name." I ask him and he replied bhavna Kumar.

"Yeh lady kon hai aapke sath" I ask him

"Yeh maari maaji se" He say. Suddenly minakshi another nurse in my team came to me and whispers something. Listening this I ask her if she was sure about this and she nod.

"Yesterday my nurse explained everything to your maaji, the symptoms, surgery which should be done, and the cost, she specially added that your wife is pregnant, so the surgery should be done as soon as possible and there are many complications" I say to him and he was shocked, he confronted his mum but she did not say anything just lowered her eyes.

"Mhanne btaye aap kiya hua hai mhari lugai ko" He asked me.

"She is 8 months pregnant sir as you know, and when I saw the symptoms and after we ran some test we came to know that she has Peripartum cardiomyopathy. "

"mhāri samaj māy koni āve" He says confused.

"is an uncommon form of heart failure that happens to some women towards the end of pregnancy or in the months of following delivery,it's very rare and very dangerous as well, you have to think fast if you want her to do the surgery. The cost will be 5lakh". I explain to him.

"Enne paise khaha se aavenge, yeh haspatal wale to hove ese hi bss paisa hi dikhta sai inhe, bus isi liye btaya na tanne maine" His mum says, I notice her appearance, she had gold rings and two necklace of gold, and still she couldn't pay for her daughter in law's surgery.

"Main paiso ki tayari krta hoo pr mharre bacche ko kuch naa hona chaye." He says concerned about his children but not about his wife, how can someone be like this,loving a creature that isn't born yet and ignoring someone who left her home and everything for you.

She exits the surgery room with nurse Minakshi and Dr Niharika, the man was standing there, she goes to him.

" I am sorry we couldn't save your wife bhavna" Saying this she was going to her cabin when he asks her about his children and she shook my head, he grabbed her hand tightly.

"Itne paise liye aur mharre bacche ko bhi na baccha pai, aab merese bura koi naa hove ga" saying this he pushes her , making her fall and hit her head on the chair present there.

Dr. Niharika ran towards her while minakshi called the guards.

"Please take them outside" Minakshi says.

"Dr. Shivantika bohot bura kiyo hai tanne... Chhorunga nhi mai" He says while being dragged by the security

"Omg you are bleeding so much" Niharika says while looking at the wound.

Her face hit the chair making the side of her forehead bleed and some scratches on her arms.
