I laid there for what felt like hours

her scent still lingered on my body and her head left but a memory on my skin

complete silence surrounded me

until my wolf kicked back in

"go to mate" he urged, probably the most commanding thing he had ever said in his entire exsistence

'goodbye shane" her words finally registered in my head

I was on my feet in minutes

I shifted quickly and let my wolf take complete control

nose in the air he propelled us through the forest at lighting speed our legs burning as we chased our mate through the forest

I didnt know where I was

and by now I didn't care

I was confused as to how far they had gotten in front of me and how fast

I was curiouse as to how long I was laying there

but all my questions flew out the window when her scent hit my nose, stronger then it had been before

until I land on my back leg the dull thuds of pain ricochetted through my

mind and I winced slowing my pace

how long had I been running I thought to myself it can't be time for more now

I shook that thought away there was no time for this

I felt a strange pulling sensation in my stomach as I chased her scent

I must have passed pack territory

but whose?

if i've got it right i'm heading east, there were no packs to the east of our boarders

fin stirred in my mind becoming hyperaware of his surroundings our eye sight sharpened as the light faded from the sky as dusk quickly appeared turning the entire sky amber

our eye honed onto the lights in the difference, on closer exsamination it was what appeared to be a pack house

I made it to the neatly trimmed grass before I was hit in the side by a strong force

I landed on my side with a yelped teeth latched onto my scruff dragging me along the grass it was but a moment bafore I fought back my teeth tearing into the wolf who had attacked me fin on the forefronts of my mind

we growled deeply and the wolf above us backed away with a whimper his ears flat against his head as he acknowledged the alpha before him

the her smell hit me

it enveloped me

I was practically drowning in it my wolf sighed in contentment relaxing

that was until her growl hit our ears
