A Month Later - Yuna's POV

I head to the base door as I hear knocking and I once again, open the door to just a crack and I see Leaf Shinobi and my eyes narrow and I close it again.

I run down the halls to my room and I pack my bag up before I run down the corridors again and I see a few shinobi flooding most of them and I set off a few traps, catching some so I can run on the walls past them.

"YOU!" Someone yells pointing to me and I look over to see Kakashi and my eyed widen in alarm.

I continue running and I get the hell out of this base with Kakashi hot on my tail.

"Leave me alone." I say to him and I see Leaf Shinobi coming out from the forest blocking my paths. "Ah shit." I say as I skid to a stop and I look up to see a net and my eyes narrow. I jump up, slicing through it with my katana and I run on an extended branch that I'm making and Kakashi still follows me in hot pursuit.

Damn it, where do I go? I've only known that base and my childhood home and that prison. Wah? My childhood home, think, where was it? It should be somewhere in the Land of Fire. Wait, I can't go there, damn it.

I dodge a hound of dogs and I bite my thumb and I do the hand signs for the summoning Jutsu and I summon Carla, a giant blue snake and I jump onto her head, leaving Kakashi behind pretty quickly but he follows the path of destruction.

"Yuna, what is the meaning of this?" Carla asks me.

"Leaf Shinobi attacked the base." I say to her and she nods.

Once I see Kakashi far out of sight, I unsummon Carla and I jump into the forest and into the tree's. I run and run and run and I find a cave that I block off with trees and I fall on my behind, tired.

I breath heavily and drop my bag next to me.

"Whose there?" Someone askes and I freeze.

"My name is Yuna, whose there?" I ask and a guy comes out and I look at him shocked.

He's about 20 years older than me I'd say about 40, early forties at least. He has a lumberjack beard that's tinged with gray, but what shocks me the most, is that he looks like me.

"Gary." He says to me and sees trees and foliage blocking the entrance and he looks at me surprised.

I slowly get up, still tired. "I'm sorry, I intruded didn't I?" I ask nervously as I pick up my bag.

"A Lin." He finally says after a minute and I start to get very nervous. "But, there was only one Lin, a girl." He says shocked.

I sense Kakashi's chakra getting closer and I look out the foliage before I see silver hair and my eyes narrow.

"What is going on?" The old man asks me and I pull him to the back of the cave, shushing him.

"I'm being chased, by someone who doesn't give up and its annoying." I say to him quietly and he nods.

I see Kakashi stop at the entrance and the old man looks at him shocked.

"That's the white fang." The old man says shocked and I shake my head.

"That is his son, Kakashi Hatake of the Sharigan Eye, the Copy Ninja." I say to him quietly.

"I can hear you Yuna." Kakashi says at the entrance and I curse quietly and I walk to the entrance.

"What the bloody hell Kakashi?" I ask him.

"You know what." Kakashi says to me annoyed.

"What is going on?" The old man asks as he walks out of the shadows.

"Nothing old man, just ignore us, this is our business that we're probably gonna have to settle through a fight, though I'd much rather not if at all possible." I mutter the last part and I smile nervously.

"Who are you?" Kakashi asks him.

"My name is Gary." The old man says to him.

"What is she telling you?" Kakashi asks him.

"Nothing, she only just got here." Gary says to him.

I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose. "Of course this happens today, when doesn't life be not complicated and problematic and confusing and stupid?" I ask as I get irritated fairly quickly at Kakashi.

"Yamato, Naruto, Sakura and Sai found your base." Kakashi says to me.

"And? I was busy making dinner after a long day of training, for the love of Kami, Kakashi, can't you leave me alone?" I ask.

"Wait, who is the bad one here?" The old man asks and I sigh.

"Not Kakashi, though I wouldn't say I'm bad, just forced into this life." I say and the old man looks at me shocked.

"And you admit this? That easily?" Kakashi asks me and I sigh in annoyance.

"Forced?" The old man asks me.

"At the age of 5, so 15 years ago, Orochimaru came to my house and took me away, I spent 3 years in captivity with a horrible guard, he was the reason why I don't like people with a threatening aura around them, getting close, it scares me and my Kekkie Genkai activates by itself to protect me, after a certain incident, Orochimaru came and took me to that base that I was at and trained me for a few years before he and Kabuto started traveling to other bases and left me and a friend of mine to watch that base, then the Chunin Exams happened 4 years later and I wasn't looking forward to that Kakashi, that was unpleasant and forced upon me and above all, I hated Kabuto throughout that entire period, then the Sasuke thing came up and then peaceful for me for 3 years, 3, before you idiots crashed my base, I didn't even grab my drawings before you flooded in like a tsunami." I say to Kakashi and he rolls his eye at me.

"You can complain all you want, I won't believe you." Kakashi says to me and I roll my eyes.

I move the hair from the left side of my neck and I show him the curse mark. "The heaven curse mark and also my demise if I ever betray Orochimaru." I say to Kakashi. "This is an early prototype, Anko has the first curse mark, he thought that one was a dud and gave me one that could kill me if I run away and betray him if he comes after me, its like the Hyuga Curse Mark on the side branches, where the main branch could kill side branch members who cause them harm or betray them." I say and Kakashi looks at it shocked. "Its similar to Sasuke's, I just don't use mine since it will eat away at me until there is nothing left and frankly, I don't want to die yet." I say and the old man looks at the curse mark.

"I can remove it." The old man says to me and I look at him surprised.

"Why? You haven't even known me long. Maybe a half hour?" I ask him shocked.

"Your a Lin, even though you don't look like one, the Lin were a good clan so I can understand why Orochimaru wanted to corrupt you with that Curse Mark, its so he can have power of your Kekkie Genkai, its a powerful one and if used right, can demolish an entire Hidden Village." The old man says to me with a smile.

"I'm not following, I've only heard stories, I have no idea what they were actually like and Kakashi, put that Chidori down before I tie you up in vines again." I say to him and he steps away, deactivating his Chidori.

"My wife was a Lin before the Massacre in the last war." The old man says to me and me and Kakashi look at him shocked.

"Hold up." I say and I go into a very deep thinking mode, trying to wrap my brain around today's events. "I'm so confused, where is Sasuke when I need him?" I ask and Kakashi shakes his head.

"Where is Sasuke?" Kakashi asks me.

"How the fuck should I know? I don't even know where I'm at and I haven't seen Sasuke for a month, he left with Orochimaru and Kabuto to another base which I don't have locations to because I never leave that damned base." I say and Kakashi rolls his eye at me and my eye twitches.

"What do you say Yuna? Do you want the mark removed?" The old man asks me.

"What are the side effects?" I ask him.

"You'll feel a loss in power since the curse mark gives you power, you'll be exhausted and you'll probably black out for a while until you recover and you might be a little nauseated." The old man says to me.

I haven't used the curse mark, its a last resort, that I don't use even as a last resort. But it keeps me from getting sick or being poisoned, but I've built up an immunity to those things as well. I should be fine, besides, I'm already tired, as long as Kakashi doesn't kill me in my sleep, I should be ok and I can get away from Orochimaru.

"Fine, but Kakashi, you are not to take me anywhere, your not to kill me either." I say and he sweat drops but nods.

"Kakashi, you'll want to catch her since she'll most likely black out after the mark is removed." The old man says to him and I go to object, but I feel a stinging pain on my neck and I shut my eyes tightly while biting my lip and after about a minute, I black out and fall, but someone catches me.

Hours Later.

I wake up and I see Kakashi and The Old Man talking next to a fire, both with smiles.

I touch my neck and I don't sense a power source there like there normally is.

I sit up slowly while holding my head since I have a headache, something I'm not immune too.

"Ah Yuna, you've woken up." The old man says to me as I get up.

"Yeah, is it normal to have a headache?" I ask quietly as I hold my head.

"If you don't feel sick, that would be the other side effect." The Old Man says to me and I nod and I sit down next to them and Kakashi looks at me to see I'm not fully awake yet.

"You know its night, right?" Kakashi asks me.

"Do you think I have a consistent sleep schedule in a cold dark base that has no sunlight?" I ask Kakashi and he nods.

"That makes sense." Kakashi says to me as I stare at the fire. "Since you don't have the curse mark, can you tell me about Orochimaru?" Kakashi asks me.

"He has bases everywhere, I had to hide them all after my Kekkie Genkai awoke, but I don't remember where they are since that was 13 years ago, I wouldn't recognize the area since its all over grown. I don't know Orochimaru all that well, he's changed a lot since he trained me, but its about time for him to change bodies, I know where he keeps the skilled ones, but he'll most likely want Sasuke, Sasuke has another idea in mind so you don't have to worry about him, he doesn't like Orochimaru's experiments and all that stuff, so I've been training his will power over the past 2 years to over come Orochimaru's mind and body transfer. He'll be fine, Orichinaru however, won't be, so you don't have to worry about that Sanin, speaking of, Sasuke wanted to start the plan as soon as possible now that I've finished training him physically and mentally. Orochimaru won't live much longer and Sasuke already has a team in mind to get together after he stops Orochimaru for good, I don't know who, but he will be going after Itachi with them." I say and Kakashi nods. "You might have to worry about Sasuke, but I've trained him in the way of good, he should be ok, maybe, I don't know what goes through his head, but you shouldn't have to worry about him at first." I say and Kakashi nods.

"His fighting style?" Kakashi asks me.

"Its a different version of mine to fit his Clans Kekkie Genkai, mine fits my Kekkie Genkai, so we had to tweak his to fit Gen-Jutsu instead of Forest Style." I say and Kakashi nods.

"Yuna, you should come to the Leaf." Kakashi says to me and I shake my head.

"And be imprisioned, no thanks, I'm going back to my childhood home, I've wanted to go back for a long time now." I say to Kakashi and he nods. "I really didn't want to cause harm to the Hidden Villages. I told that to Gaara of the Hidden Sand and Rock Lee of the Hidden Leaf when I went to retrieve Sasuke, after my friend died, I don't want to cause harm because I don't want to be the bad person, I never have." I say as I look at the fire and then over at the old man who sleeps where I slept. "The old man, he's familiar, I can't put my finger on it, but I do thank him immensely for what he's done for me." I say to Kakashi.

"You owe him your life don't you?" Kakashi asks me.

"Yeah, I'll find a way to repay him one day, I don't know how, but I will." I say and Kakashi nods.

"I can understand where your coming from, my teacher saved me a lot in the past war, I owed him my life, but he died soon after." Kakashi says to me and I nod.

I put my head on my knees as I hug them to my chest as I look at the fire.

I frown as my stomach rumbles. "Seriously though, did you have to interrupt me before I made dinner? If you guys weren't hostile, I'd have made enough for all of us." I say and he chuckles.

"Sorry." He says to me and I grab my bag knowing I packed something.

I look through it and I find two apples and I toss one to Kakashi and he looks at me surprised. "I have two and I don't think you've eaten either." I say to him and on que, his stomach rumbles and I smile amused.

"Yeah, I haven't eaten anything since earlier today." Kakashi says to me and I start eating my apple with a small smile on my lips.
