Anna'a POV

"Yuna, come on." I hear Kimimaro say to me and I look over at him shocked that he's moving.

"What are you doing?" I ask him.

"We have to go retrieve Sasuke. Orochimaru's new body." Kimimaro says to me and I frown at his tone since its colder than usual.

I sheath my Katana and I attach it to my side as we walk and I see him glance at me as I frown.

"Don't frown, it doesn't suit you." Kimimaro says to me and I look at him as he smiles at me and I smile. "That's better." Kimimaro says to me and he ruffles my hair and we head out and after a while, I grab a casket, shocking two people and they look at me.

"Hey! You were with Kakashi-Sensei, what are you doing here?" The blonde boy asks me with a stupid look on his face.

"He sent you two?" Tayuya asks us shocked.

I hand the casket to Kimimaro and he nods, I look at Tayuya. "Hurry, your running out of time." I say to Tayuya and she nods.

I head off with Kimimaro with the blonde boy following us and we stop at a field.

"Yuna." Kimimaro says to me and I sigh.

"What a pain." I say and he nods and I stop the boy dead in his tracks as I tangle him in a forest, that is until he makes an unbelievable amount of shadow clones and I sigh again, not really in the mood for this.

He fights the both of us until the kid in the coffin comes out and then a boy in a green jump suit with bowl cut hair and bushy eye brows appears and the blonde kid gets past me.

I get a very unamused look on my face as I try catching this kid as he gets drunk but, I fail and I stomp in a pouting frustration.

"Oh come on! Why can't I hit you?" I ask pouting and Kimimaro rolls his eyes at me and my cheek puffs out in a pout as I continue, and finally his drunkness wears off and I can actually hit him now, until the red head from the Sand, Gaara, stops my vines with Sand. "What the bloody hell?" I ask and Gaara frowns at me and I know this is gonna be a tough fight and I groan. "Damn it." I say and Kimimaro gets ready to fight as well and we fight, side by side against Gaara, and I dodge Gaara's huge attacks by having vines pull me up and I see Kimimaro go under. "Kimimaro." I say with sad eyes and I look at Gaara as he looks up at me and I wait for a few moments before Kimimaro resurfaces and almost kills Gaara, but dies mid-way through.

Tears slip down my face and I jump up next to my best friend and I look at him sadly.

"She's crying." I hear bowl cut say shocked.

I look at my best friend and I rest my forehead on his. "I'm sorry Kimimaro, I couldn't save you, thank you for being my friend, rest well." I say to him quietly and I take a step back and onto an extended tree branch, I wipe my tears away and I turn around. "I don't know if you were trying to make his death quick or not, but I thank you, he isn't suffering anymore, he's been sick for a long time, but hasn't said anything until just a month ago when his condition got considerably worse." I say and Gaara looks at me shock as tears still fall down my face. "He was my best friend, I don't like seeing people suffer, I've never enjoyed it." I say and I glance back at Kimimaro with a sad look. "It'll be different now, not having any friends in that base, but, its better than watching people suffer." I say and Gaara and the kid look at me. "Kid with the bowl cut hair, what is your name?" I ask him.

"Rock Lee." He says to me proudly and I nod.

"I'm sorry for hurting you, both you and Gaara, I didn't want to leave Kimimaro alone on this mission in his condition, I didn't even want to come, but, I had to. I don't want you anymore trouble today, I hope one day, peace will be in the nations and I don't have to worry about things like this happening again." I say and Gaara's eyes narrow.

"Then why don't you leave Orochimaru?" Gaara asks me and I look at him with sad eyes and I move my hair from my neck to reveal a curse mark.

"You think I'm gonna be trusted after that last attack on the Leaf? I can't leave, the curse mark will kill me if Orochimaru comes for me, and I have no choice but to stay, I'm a prisoner of the Snake Sanin." I say to him and I see shock from Gaara.

I watch the two and I then look at Kimimaro.

"Kimimaro had a debt to pay to Orochimaru, Orochimaru took me to a place when I was five, I became a prisoner because of my clan, one to have fabled be dead and gone, I'm the last survivor and Kimimaro was the last survivor of his clan, we're powerful, that's why he wanted us, that's why he wants Sasuke, to use him as a new body so he'll have the Sharigan to himself." I say and I can tell they've reached their limit since they look tired. "I'll be going." I say quietly and I look at Kimimaro one last time before I take off through the forest and I see Kakashi a ways behind me and I jump down into the clearing and I put Sasuke's arm over my shoulder and he looks at me shocked. "You want to come to Orochimaru, right? Lets get going." I say and he nods and I take him back to the base and Kabuto smirks at me as he sees the dead inside look in my eyes.

"Good job, though I'm surprised you survived." Kabuto says to me.

"Fuck yourself Kabuto." I say and I head to the kitchen and I make dinner, which is mashed potatoes with garlic and cheese in them, cooked vegetables and chicken that I left to thaw before I started training this morning.

I frown as I finish making the food and I sit at the counter with my plate when Orochimaru walks in with Kabuto and Sasuke.

I put my spoon of mashed potatoes down and I smile.

"This is the kitchen, Yuna's area, she makes the food, she's the only good cook here." Orochimaru says to Sasuke.

"I made mashed potatoes with cheese and garlic, some cooked vegetables and chicken, now with the Sound Four, gone, there will be plenty left for leftovers, Sasuke, if you tell me what your favorite food is, I'll see if I can't learn to make it for you." I say to him with a smile.

"Hn." Sasuke says blowing me off and my eye twitches while Orochimaru chuckles amused.

"Alright, another brat." I say and I hit Sasuke in the head with my fist. "My domain, my rules, your not aloud to say, 'hn' in my kitchen, or my training grounds, your not aloud to be lifeless either, and, for the last one, you can just write down what you want to eat if all you ever say is 'hn', I'll either be in my room, or my training grounds, or here." I say to Sasuke and Orochimaru chuckles again.

"Yuna, your taking a better liking to Sasuke than you did Kabuto." Orochimaru says to me and I scowl at Kabuto.

"That's because I hate Kabuto." I say and Kabuto glares at me and I just snort. "Anyways Sasuke, I've been here a while, longer than dipshit albino with the cocky attitude, if you need anything, just look for me, 'cause I know for certain Kabuto is a cold hearted jerk who doesn't care for another living soul." I say and Kabuto rolls his eyes.

"Fight me." Sasuke says to me and I look at him surprised and I look back at my food.

"This is to be expected, everyone wants to fight you." Orochimaru says to me and I look at Sasuke again and I sigh.

"Damn kid, fine, if anyone touches my food, I'll kill them, anything on that plate is mine." I say as I start walking out into the hallway.

"Right, right, make sure to bring him back alive." Orochimaru says to me amused.

"I'm low on chakra and so is he, I think there is a high chance he'll be fine, probably a few scratches but I'm not gonna use my Kekkie Genkai on him." I say and Sasuke follows me to my training grounds and I walk to the center with Sasuke since its a wide open area, fit for my Kekkie Genkai especially.

Sasuke charges at me and I grab his fist and I flip him into the ground and I sit on his stomach holding his kunai to his neck with his own hand.

"I win Sasuke." I say to him with a smile and he grunts.

"Not fair." Sasuke mutters and I pout as I get off him.

"Lets go eat dinner, k? I'm hungry." I say as I help Sasuke up and he grunts and follows me.

I head back to the kitchen and I see Kabuto eating my food.

"Ka-Bu-To!" I yell and he looks up and then back down and continues eating. I punch him out of my kitchen and Sasuke looks at me shocked. "Don't eat my food." I say to Kabuto and he gets up and takes the plate with him and my eye twitches annoyed but I get myself a new plate of food and Sasuke follows my example and gets a plate of food.

"I like tomatoes." Sasuke says to me and I nod.

"Any particular dishes for that?" I ask him.

"No." Sasuke says to me and I nod.

I head to my room and he follows me and I let him in, slightly shocked he wants to hang around me.

"Who is this?" Sasuke asks pointing to a picture of me and Kimimaro when I turned 13.

"Kimimaro, he's my best friend." I say to Sasuke with a smile.

"And where is he?" Sasuke asks me.

"He's, dead, we went to retrieve you together earlier and he had a sickness that was killing him." I say and Sasuke nods and I sit down on my bed and he eats while looking at my drawings on the walls.

"Your skilled." Sasuke says to me and I look up at him from a new drawing I'm working on.

"Thanks Sasuke." I say to him with a smile and he watches me as I draw while eating.

"Can you teach me your Tai-Jutsu style?" Sasuke asks me and I just keep smiling.

"Its painful learning it, I nearly broke my arm one time and my ankle another." I say to him and he nods.

"You said something about a Kekkie Genkai?" Sasuke asks me.

He's as curious as a cat. Its amusing.

"Yeah, I'm from the Lin Clan, or, the Forest Clan, I don't look like them since my Dad wasn't one and I take after him, but I can use the Kekkie Genkai." I say as I point to the floor. "That's not a carpet, its actual moss and grass, the flowers in the vases are part of my Kekkie Genkai and the tree over there is also part of my Kekkie Genkai." I say to Sasuke who nods.

"Your room looks comfortable." Sasuke says to me.

"Yeah well, that's how I suited it best for my needs, I can't get comfortable sometimes so I have to add in something new into my room with my Kekkie Genkai." I say to him and Sasuke nods.

We talk for a while before I show Sasuke his room and I roll my eyes at how bland it is.

"Have a good rest Sasuke, Lord Orochimaru will want to start training as soon as he can." I say to Sasuke with a smile and he just nods.

I head back to my room and I sit back down on my bed and I continue working on my drawing, its a drawing of a peaceful Kimimaro and me, Kimimaro wanted me to draw a picture of the two of us relaxing somewhere sunny.

I smile softly at the picture and I close the door to my room and I hold my drawing pad close to my chest, crying quietly, finally able to mourn the loss of my dear friend.

I cry for a long time before I have nothing left to cry and my throat is sore as needs water and my face is pink and my eyes are red.

I head into my bathroom and I take a long hot bath and after I'm done, I get out and I cleanse my face and I look a lot better. I change into black pajama pants with red markings a tank top and a long sleeve Pajama shirt to match and I put on some soft socks.

I lay on my bed, on my stomach, holding my pillow to my head with my black comforter over me.

I look at the picture of me and Kimimaro, sadly and I slowly fall asleep.

I wake up to knocking on my door an hour later and I sigh and get up.

I open the door to see Sasuke there and I look at him confused.

"I'm not used to this place yet, could I sleep in your room?" Sasuke asks me nervously and I look at him slightly surprised.

"Sure." I say to him and I let him in.

I take one of my smaller blankets and one of my pillows to my tree.

"I can take the tree." Sasuke says to me and I smile.

"Your the guest in my room, go ahead." I say pointing to my bed and he looks at it for a moment before he reluctantly gets on his bed and I climb up into my tree and I pull my blanket over my with my pillow under my head. "Good night Sasuke." I say to him.

"Night." He says and I roll my eyes before I fall asleep again and this time, it lasts till morning.
