One Week Later - Yuna's POV

I hear knocking on my door and I curiously get up and head over. I open the door slightly and I see Orochimaru.

"Yuna, I know your in there." Orochimaru says to me.

"Open the door." Another male says and I recognize it as Yamato.

This is gonna be a pain in the ass.

I open the door and I look at them. "What the bloody hell are you two doing here? Last I checked, this is my own area and it rejects anything evil." I say and Orochimaru chuckles.

"No, no Yuna, you misinterpret my intentions, I'm no longer evil." Orochimaru says to me and I raise an eyebrow. "Your cut your hair." Orochimaru says to me surprised.

"Like I say to everyone, it was time for a change and I like having shoulder length hair, its less time consuming." I say and Orochimaru pouts slightly.

"Stop being so mean, I didn't raise you this way." Orochimaru says to me and Yamato looks at me.

I sigh. "I was about to make lunch, anything in particular?" I ask as I walk to the kitchen while tying my apron on around my waist and leaving the door open for them.

"You can make whatever." Orochimaru says to me amused.

I look at Yamato and he shrugs and I nod.

I make Tonkatso for the three of us and I serve it.

"You should come back with me Yuna, I've missed your cooking and I'm not doing experiments anymore." Orochimaru says to me after he's finished a mouthful of food.

"No, like I said to Kakashi who said I should come to the Leaf, I like it here, its peaceful, I'm also an adult with free will and I'm not stuck somewhere cold and dark all the time." I say and Orochimaru chuckles.

"If you saw the new base you'd like it a lot, its nothing like the old one I left you in charge of." Orochimaru says to me.

"Is Kabuto there?" I ask calmly as I slowly lose my appetite.

"Yes, he is." Orochimaru says to me with a smile.

"Then no, he makes everywhere so much darker." I say to Orochimaru.

"He's not that bad anymore, I mean, look how much I've changed, he's changed a lot too." Orochimaru says to me with a smile.

I study Orochimaru for a moment and I sigh. "For the love of Kami, your like a parent who doesn't know the meaning of being told no by their kids." I say after a minute and Yamato looks between us. "You better not get me into trouble, the last thing I need is that." I say and Orochimaru beams brightly as we finish eating. "Fine, if you want me to visit, I will, but there is absolutely no way in hell, that I'm moving in." I say and Orochimaru nods with a smile.

"I can accept that. My darling daughter is coming with me again." Orochimaru says day dreaming and I look at Yamato.

"If anything happens to me in there, your to report to Kakashi immediately." I say and Yamato nods.

I leave the two in the living room and I head to my bedroom where I change into a light green long sleeve shirt with my white leggings and I put on my black ninja sandals and my black leather fingerless gloves.

I grab my bag and I follow Orochimaru with Yamato in the shadows.

We get to a base area and Orochimaru leads me inside and its not all that bad.

"Lord Orochimaru, you've returned." The sickening voice of Kabuto says to him and he sees me. "Yuna." He says to me slightly shocked I'm here.

"My children, be nice." Orochimaru says to us with a smile and I watch the two carefully. "Yuna, what's with the distrust?" Orochiamru asks me.

"Oh I don't know, maybe I haven't been threatened almost my entire life by the two of you and a curse mark." I say and Kabuto rolls his eyes slightly.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Kabuto says to me and I scowl at him slightly and he shuts up.

"I only came to visit since our lovely Father, wouldn't take no for an answer." I say with sarcasm lacing my voice.

"Kabuto, show her around and make sure you show her the kitchen." Orochimaru says to him with a smile and Kabuto nods. "Now of you go children." Orochimaru says to us.

"Follow me Yuna." Kabuto says as he starts walking.

I get very uncomfortable, very quickly as I follow him.

"The base is smaller than your old one, but its sufficient for us." Kabuto says to me and I nod slightly.

"I don't know if your following orders or being genuinely nice, but I don't like it." I say and Kabuto nods.

"I have changed you know, the war did change me a lot." Kabuto says to me and we get to a door. "Look inside." Kabuto says to me.

I stiffen slightly but I open the door and what amazes me is that this kitchen is big, its got nice gray marble counter tops with mahogany cabinets and a gray stainless steel fridge and sink with a gas stove.

I walk inside and Kabuto watches me amused as I look around in the cupboards ands I look at the pans.

"Our 'Father' was hoping you'd come back after you saw this surprise." Kabuto says to me.

"He such a doting father." I say and Kabuto nods in agreement.

"Well?" Kabuto asks amused.

"Well what?" I ask him.

"Do you like the kitchen?" Kabuto asks me.

I scowl at him. "You already know my answer." I say to him and he nods and walks out and I sadly leave the kitchen behind and he shows me the lounge.

The lounge has a large flat screen TV, with two soft gray L Couches, one love seat couch, 3 recliners, a mini fridge and a soft plush gray carpet.

"Wow, you guys spent money on this." I say surprised and Kabuto nods.

"We decided our old life style wasn't healthy, part of the reason why Orochimaru got sick quickly was because of the dark coolness in the old bases." Kabuto says to me and I nod.

"Makes sense." I say and he takes me to a lab room and I raise an eyebrow at the white table top and all the chemicals.

"We do science experiments, we don't experiment on people or living and dead creatures anymore." Kabuto says to me and I inspect the place.

"Surprising." I say and I smell the chemicals to make sure its nothing dangerous to their health.

"So Yuna, how do you like the place so far?" Orochimaru asks me with a smile.

I sigh as I look at him, a little amused by his attitude. "The place nice, but not cozy like my cabin." I say and Orochimaru nods.

"The place needs a woman's touch and Karin doesn't count." Suigetsu says to us and she hits him on the head.

"My children." Orochimaru says proudly. "We have to take a a picture.' Orochimaru says to us.

"We need Sasuke." Me and Suigestu say to him and he nods.

"I know just how to get him here." Orochimaru says to us and we end up sitting in the lounge, me and Suigetsu debating back and forth over who Sasuke favors more.

"What are you doing?" We hear him say after a while and he seems slightly disgusted.

"Sasuke!" Me and Suigestu say standing up on the couch. "Who do you favor the most between the two of us?" We asks him.

"I don't favor anyone." Sasuke says to us.

"Family photo!" Orochimaru says to us all and Sasuke looks at me and I just shrug.

"He's being a doting father over me right now." I say to Sasuke who nods and we all get into position with my elbows on Suigetsu and Sasuke's shoulders and Karin in front of me with Kabuto and Orochimaru behind us, my vines snap a photo of us and I take the camera and show them.

"That turned out well." Suigetsu says to me and I nod in agreement.

I print out copies for everyone and I put mine in my bag.

"Dinner time!" Suigestu says excitedly and my eyes widen.

"Yuna, go use the kitchen." Orochimaru says to me amused.

"I have to see this." Suigetsu says and Sasuke nods in agreement.

I calmly walk to the kitchen with Sasuke and Suigetsu studying my everymood with the others behind them, watching amused.

I walk in and this sigh, will never get old.

"She loves it." Orochimaru says watching me get to work with all the space I have.

"No kidding, I haven't seen her so excited since, well, ever." Kabuto says to him and Sasuke nods in agreement.

I make chicken Katsudon for everyone and we sit around the table in here.

"So Yuna, how do you like the kitchen?" Orochimaru asks me and I look up at him, right dead in the eyes, with the calmest look I can muster.

"I love it." I say and the guys chuckle amused while Karin nods.

"So you'll move in?' Suigetsu asks hopeful.

"No." I say and he deflates. "But I'll visit when I can, I have my own things to do to you know, so I can't hangout around here babysitting you teens while Orochimaru is out." I say and Suigestu and Karin cheer. "Besides, when I am here, it'll give Yamato a break, your gonna work him to the ground." I say and Kabuto nods.

"There's only two girls here, how did they invade?" Suigetsu asks and I tie him up with vines in the corner with f the ceiling as the rest of us continue eating while he watches.

Once we're done, I wash dishes and Sasuke looks at me

"You'll be fine here then?" Sasuke asks me.

"Maybe, who knows, but I'll kick their asses if they try anything, after all, I am the second strongest in this little 'family' of ours." I say and Sasuke nods.

"I'll be going then, thanks for the food." Sasuke says to me and I nod and he leaves.

I put the dishes away and I let Suigetsu down.

"Your so mean." Suigetsu cries and I roll my eyes and head to the lounge where I grab my bag.

"Leaving already?" Karin asks me.

"Yeah, I'm heading home." I say and Karin nods.

I head out of the base and Yamato look at me.

"Well?" Yamato asks me.

"I left some Katsudon in the fridge for you, they seem ok, but I'll come once a week to make sure and give you a break." I say to him and Yamato nods in relief.

I head back to my cabin and I walk in.

I frame the picture of all of us and I set it on the shelf.

I sit down and read for a while after that.
