Akiko's POV.

I've been sick in bed since the beach trip, due to the chip shutting me down. Today I was relaxing in the living room part of the apartment while Itashi went with Haruhi to the store, and Rao was at work. I continued to relax until I heard some of our neighbours outside. I look out my window to see two limos. Familiar limos. I sigh and decide to leave it alone, and stay inside since I may be sick still.

"What are you guys doing here?" I hear Itashi ask as him and Haruhi lead the boys to her apartment.

"Well... We were in the neighbourhood." Tamaki said stupidly.

"Okay! You can't see Nee-chan today, though. She's sick because of her sleep!" Itashi says as they walk past the door to our apartment.

"Ki-chan lives here too?!" Honey asks excitedly.

"Yes, but she's sick. So no one is allowed to visit her!" Itashi says sternly.

"Alright, Ita, take this to Onee-chan." Haruhi says, probably handing him the bag I sent her out for. I asked her to grab me some different types of pills.

"Nee-chan!!! I'm home!!!!" Itashi yells as he opens the front door. I look and see Mori poke his head around the door to check on me I guess.

"Hi Ita. Just put it in my room please..." I say softly, pulling my blanket closer around me. Itashi takes his shoes off as I notice Mori hesitantly left to go to Haruhi's home. Itashi runs back to my side after doing what he's told. "Go on and hang out with Haru-chan, I'll be fine."

"Okay, but make sure to call of you need anything, nee-chan." Itashi says as he puts his shoes back on.

"Ranka-chan will probably check on me before heading home, and Otou-sama will be home soon, so don't worry." I smile at him and he leaves.

'Now to rest for the last bit of the day...' I think before closing my eyes and sleeping. I hear the front door open and hear Ranka check on me before leaving, and then shortly after Rao comes home and takes me to my room and tucks me in.

"Nee-chan?" I hear Itashi ask from my door.

"Yes, Ita?"

"Would you like some soup for dinner?" He asks.

"No, thank you." I say sleepily and then feel Itashi sit next to me on the bed.

"We ate sweets over at Haru-nee's. Honey brought them and Tama-San and Hiku-chan and Kao-chan were acting really weird. Then Haru-nee announced that she needed to go to the store again, so everyone wanted to go with, and left Haru-nee and Tama-San alone in the apartment. Me and Hiku-chan and Kao-chan went back to find that Tama-San fell onto the floor and Ranka-sama was protective of Haru-nee." Itashi says softly as he combs his fingers in my hair, knowing it helps me feel better. "And then Haru-nee said she'd go to the supermarket alone. Ranka-sama had us follow her to make sure she's safe. Tama-San got caught."

"Sounds like a long, fun day, yeah?" I ask, turning my head up to him. "Did you have fun?"

"Lots. Mori-nii pushed me and Honey-chan in a shopping cart. It was fun!" Itashi tried to stay quiet so I wouldn't have a headache, but got a bit excited.

"Well it's nice that you had fun." I kiss his forehead and we lay down to sleep.

"I'm sorry, Nee-chan... This is all my fault..." He whispers as he hugs me and rests his head on my chest. "You were always caused pain when we lived with Mama and Papa... I couldn't stop or sooth your pain... I'm so sorry... And now, your sick because of me..."

"Ita, it's not because of you. None of it is. It isn't your fault, it's the Fuyutsuki's fault. They have made me a weapon. They have implanted the chip which has caused me to become sick today. They caused me pain, not you. Not my beautiful little Ita." I say as I caress his tear stained cheek. "Don't ever blame yourself for what I feel. Okay? Because it's not your fault."

"Okay, Nee-chan..." He whispers before falling asleep.

"If anything, you are the one who has caused me to become human..." I whisper and follow Ita into a dreamless sleep.

Morning.

I wake up and head out of my room ready for school. Today Itashi wanted me to take a break from the costumes, which I find absurd since I haven't done my work in weeks.

"Nee-chan! I'm ready!" Itashi yelled happily.

I walk out and grab his hand to lead him to the kitchen for breakfast. I start thinking about two people I was ordered to protect. The first one I was assigned was a strange boy, I'll admit, but he was definitely my favourite. Umehito Nekozawa. His maid spoke of his little sister, who is scared of the dark, and that the two are complete opposites. The second boy was Ritsu Kasanoda, who was a little... Anti-social in a way.

Anyways, I finish eating with Itashi, and we head to school. I smile as the Hosts wear my police uniforms I had made last time I was making costumes. They even had one for Itashi, since he practically joined their acts. His type was the 'shy baby brother'. He ran off with Honey to go change. Mori walked up to me and smiled down at my smaller height.

"Hello Mori." I greet. He nods at me. "So. What's the plan today?"

"Well... Just a normal host club day, I guess." Haruhi says, walking up to us.

"So you mean, we will help out someone today?" I joke. I look at the time and have them get in position. Itashi stood beside Honey, hiding behind him a bit.

"Welcome!" All of the hosts say as the door opens. It was a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Oh, hello my little kitten." Tamaki says, still in his little flirty way. "How can we help, my little lost kitten?"

"Hi there... Ignore Tamaki, he's weird." I kneel down to the girls height and she seems to recognise me.

"Nee-San!" She yells, hugging me. "I need help to find Big Brother!"

"W-wait... Nee-San? I'm sorry, but I'm not your sister." I hold her so I can look at her face. She smiles.

"Yes, but your were protecting Big Brother, and so you are my Nee-san!" She says happily.

"Protecting... Your brother..." I whisper, trying to think of who she is. "K-Kirimi? What are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for Big Brother!" She exclaims.

I nod and walk out of the room to inform Umehito. I wasn't able to find him so I returned to the room and saw Umehito sad that Kirimi claims Tamaki is her Big Brother. I sigh and walk up to Tamaki.

"Kiki-sama!!!" I hear Umehito say excitedly before he hugs me. "I've missed you Kiki-sama!!!"

"I've missed you too, young master." I pat his head as he hugs me close. "It's been a long time."

"Yeah... It has..." He says, staring down at me caringly. "How have you been?"

"Could be better." I shrug before feeling Itashi pull on my sleeve. "Nekozawa-San, this is my baby brother, Itashi. Itashi, this is Umehito Nekozawa."

"H-hi..." Itashi says shyly.

"So you're the boy that was always on Kiki-sama's mind?" Umehito asks.

"Nekozawa-san, you should return to the room, I know how much the light affects you." I pat his shoulder. He slowly nods before leaving.

Timeskip to when Renge is training Umehito.

I was with Haruhi in the Third Music Room, when I saw Kirimi-chan walk in.

"Where's Big Brother?" She asks softly.

"He's... Out helping someone. Haruhi, could you go get him and I'll watch after Kirimi-chan?" I ask, Haruhi nods and leaves the room. I walk over to a violin and start playing a song.

'I pirouette in the dark

I sing, playing the violin all the while Kirimi sits on the couch, watching me.

I do a small solo, Kirimi watching intently.

I watch as she looks at me with awe.

She smiles as I sing, playing the violin the best I could with both the intense playing of the violin and singing.

I smile as she starts humming along with me.

Kirimi slowly starts trying to sing along.

She smiles as she starts singing louder with me.

I end my singing, and look to see Kirimi run out of the room, in search of Tamaki. I place the violin back in it's case and watch the courtyard to see that Kirimi was outside, near a big stray tabby.

'She's terrified of cats, unlike the Nekozawa clan, who worship them.' I remember Umehito's maid told me back when I was his protector. I watch as Umehito jump through the window, without his cloak. He runs to Kirimi as I rush outside with his cloak and wig.

"Kirimi!!!" Umehito yells. Kirimi seems to remember something, and then she jumps into his arms.

"Big Brother!" She yells excitedly. He sets her on the ground as I get closer to the two siblings.

"Don't worry, I won't let him near you..." Umehito says softly to her before kneeling to her height with his cat puppet.

He starts telling her about the puppet, and how it'll curse the cat, that is until he grew weak due to the sunlight, and pretty much fainted. The tabby yawns before padding off. I rush to Umehito's side, placing the cloak over him. Kirimi watches us, frozen in place...

"Don't worry, Kiri-chan. He'll be okay." I say softly as I grab his arm and lean him against me and help him inside.

"Nee-sama..." Kirimi whispers as she hugs my leg. "Big Brother saved me from the monster..."

"Yeah, your brother is really brave, and princely, huh?" I ruffle her hair as I pick her up and carry them both inside, where Umehito's butler takes him as the maid takes Kirimi. "I hope we meet again, Princess Kirimi Nekozawa."

"Kiki-sama... Thank you." Umehito whispers.

"I'll always help you, Nekozawa-san. No matter if I am your protector, or not, I will still be your friend." I tell him and watch them walk away.

"That was really breached of him, huh?" Haruhi asks from beside me, holding Itashi in her arms as Mori stands on my other side with Honey on his back. Both of the boys were sleeping.

"Yeah... I should get Ita home. Thank you, Haruhi." I take Itashi gently from her and nod goodbye to the both of them as I walk out. Haruhi was staying after to help clean up a bit.

"Akiko, your home early." Rao says as I walk inside the apartment. I drop Itashi's shoes by the door as carefully slip mine off too. "How was your day?"

"Good..." I place Itashi on my bed and he curls up around his stuffed penguin. "I got to see Ume-chan, and his baby sister too."

"Really? How'd that go?" He asks from the kitchen, making dinner. I then proceed to tell him everything that happened that day. "Wow... I bet this won't be the last you'll see of her."

"Yeah... Hey, Otou-sama?" I ask hesitantly.

"Yea, Hime?"

"What if I became a bodyguard again? Like how I was for Ume-chan and Ritsu-kun?" I suggest in a way. "It'll help us earn more money too."

"Well... You wouldn't be able to join your parents' agency, but maybe I could talk to some old friends of mine." Rao nods. I smile and get plates out, knowing he incited over Haruhi and Ranka. "But it is certain that they'll accept you in, so don't get too excited yet. I'll talk to them tomorrow."

"Okay, Otou-sama."
