💘1💘

Akiko's POV.

I hold my clipboard to my chest as I walk down the hallways, making my way to the music room, where the Host Club is. I sigh as I hear people start whispering about me. I'm not very popular, or rich, or pretty, or smart, or anything really. Tamaki always says that I'm all that, and more. But I know he is just saying that because he says it to every girl. I pretty much gave up on convincing myself, I was all of those things, a long time ago.

"Ko... Kiko... Akiko!" I hear Honey-Senpai yell into my ear. I look up from the ground to see I'm right in front of the music room, and Honey-Senpai is looking at me worriedly. "You okay Ki-chan?"

"Yes Honey-Senpai." I bow in apology. "Gomenasai, I was lost in thought."

"Come on inside. We are about to start." He smiles up at me, holding his bunny to his chest. I nod and he reaches up and grabs my hand before pulling me inside.

"Akiko-San. It's good to see you." Mori smiles down at me.

I nod before rushing to my little room where the costumes are hung. It has a sowing kit inside so I can repair, or make new costumes. I place down my clipboard which shows a new design I came up with. I usually make designs in class, then I rush to the music room and sow the costume, or start it at least, and I make sure that the costume is fit for the right person. This particular design is for a smaller person, but bigger than Honey-Senpai. I sigh as I realise I need to redo the drawing so I get the correct measurements- that is until I hear a vase fall into the ground in the other room. I run out to see a brown haired person, with a sweater, black pants, and glasses. I smile, recognising them.

"H-Haruhi?" I call out. She looks up at me. She looked almost frightened of the guys, and he even ran at me and his behind me.

"These guys are nuts!" She yelps as the twins poke her from behind me.

"You just broke an expensive vase." I mutter, shocked. I tune out Kyoya as he lectures Haruhi on how much it costs, and how she'll have to pay them for it. I walk over and clean up the glass from it, careful not to cut myself.

"Careful Akiko-chan!" Honey-Senpai says franticly.

"It's fine-" I'm cut off as I got distracted and cut my palm by a piece of glass.

"Akiko-San!" Mori scolds as he takes my hand and helps me up while examining it. "Kyoya, do you think it's infected?"

"Not yet, Mori-Senpai. We must clean, and bandage it before it gets infected." Kyoya says, pushing his glasses up higher. I take my hand back and walk back to the costume room.

"I'm fine." I say softly, knowing that Honey may freak out if I say it any other way. I walk into the costume room, and head to the back of it. I have a first aid kit back there due to the many times I accidentally hurt my hand from needles. I clean my wound and wrap it in gauze before walking back out.

"You okay, Akiko-neechan?" The twins ask me. I nod and pat their shoulders before walking to the changing rooms to check on Haruhi. She was changing into one of the Host uniforms.

"Does it fit well?" I ask softly, trying not to spook her. She jumps a small bit, before turning to me. She's wearing a pink tanktop, and starting to put on the Host pants already. She just needs the Host shirt and overcoat on next.

"You scared me, Akiko-San." She sighs before turning around and sliding the pants on. She turns back to me and smiles. "The pants feel fine, all that's left is the shirts."

"Would you like me to step out?" I ask her, seeing he tense form.

"No. It's fine Akiko-San." She smiles before lifting the shirt up and over her head. That was exactly when Tamaki decided to peek his head in to heck on Haruhi.

"Tamaki!" I scold. Haruhi stares at him as he slowly realises she's a girl. I grab him by the ear and drag him, and the rest of the guys, into the main room. I line them all up except for Honey-Senpai and Mori, since they didn't do anything. "You all are imbeciles! Walking into the changing rooms on a lady!"

"To be fair, I stood on the other side of the curtain, not looking at all." Kyoya speaks up, emotionlessly.

"Kyoya! You should have stopped Tamaki!" I hit him upside the head and Tamaki winced. It takes a lot to smack Kyoya upside the head and make him budge. I smacked him and he fell to the floor. "And you two!" I point at the twins. "Run along. This is your only free slip. I'm not letting you off the hook in the future if you do something like this again."

"That's unfair!" Tamaki whines. I glare at him and he goes to a scared chibi mode. "I'm so sorry Akiko-Sensai!"

"You imbecile! You shouldn't walk in on a lady changing!" I scold as the other five boys sweat drop as Tamaki is kneeling beside me, pulling on my skirt, begging me for mercy.

"I didn't know Haruhi was a girl!" He sobs, scared of my rage.

"It's perfectly fine Akiko-San." I hear Haruhi say as she walks in. "They didn't know."

"No, they all knew except for Tamaki. He's the slowest of the bunch." I sigh out. "But if you say it's alright, then... Tamaki, your safe. For now."

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He cheers, jumping up to hug me, then Haruhi.

"But Nee-chan!" The twins whine, I send a look their way an the shrink down in fear.

"Haruhi-Chan. Said. It's fine." I state menacingly an they nod, scared of my wrath. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up to see Mori. "Yes, Mori?"

"How is your hand, Akiko-San?" He asks, taking my hand in his larger one. I smile up at him and he releases my hand.

"I'm perfectly fine after a small cut like that, Mori-Chan." I say softly, smiling up at him before heading to the costume room and coming out with my clipboard, with the new design on it. "Haruhi-Chan. Is it alright if I take your measurements? It seems I've designed a costume that will not for the guys."

"Sure Onee-chan." Haruhi nods. I've been her friend for a day, and she acts like I'm her big sister. It took Hikaru and Kaoru a week before they started calling me 'Akiko-neechan'. I smile and take her to the costume room to get the measurements.

Honey-Senpai's POV.

I watch as Akiko-chan takes Haruhi away, and Mori doesn't lift his gaze from Akiko at all. I wonder when he will realise his feelings for her. They would make a cute couple. Even though Akiko doesn't really show affection– or any sign of having a crush on someone. When I ask her if she likes anyone, she always shrugs. I've only got her to actually talk about it once before.

Flashback to a year ago.(Akiko is in her year with Mori in the present time.)

I was sitting in the costume room, which is somewhat Akiko's office area. She was writing down new measurements for me. I was curious as to why she never fell for any of the Host club members' charms, not even Tamaki. She always says that my charms always makes her think I'm her baby brother.

"Akiko-chan?" I ask softly, not wanting the others to eavesdrop. She hums in response so I decide to continue. "Do you have feelings for anyone?"

"I do not waste my time on pitiful feelings, Mitsukuni Haninozuka." She mutters as she writes my measurements against. "Why do you ask?"

"Why are they 'pitiful feelings', Akiko-chan?" I tilt my head. She sighs before setting her clipboard down.

"What has brought this up?" She asks, tiredly pinching the bridge of her nose.

"I was just curious, since you seem unfazed by the Host Club's charm." I shrug. She chuckles a bit before ruffling my hair and picking up her clip board and working on a design for me.

"Well, they are pitiful feelings because, all my life no one has ever... Had those feelings for me. There was no love, adoration, caring, or thoughtful looks sent my way. My family thrived on independancy. They always say that you don't need those feelings, they won't help you in your education or business life." She explains before shrugging. "So I've never felt loved, and I don't know how to show it or respond to it."

"Oh..." I whisper, realising how hard I must've been for Akiko.

Flashback end.

I sigh as Akiko walks back out with Haruhi, laughing at some joke Haruhi made. I run up to Akiko and hug her legs. Ever since she's told me that, I've always shown her my love for her. So she knows how to respond to being love by friends and family. She's only ever told me about her past.

"Honey-Senpai, what's wrong?" Akiko asks, bending down to my height. I hug her around her neck and she wraps her arms around me too, before standing up and walking me to the couch so we can talk alone. She sits down on the couch and keeps me on her lap. "What's wrong?"

"I was just remembering what you told me last year." I say softly, knowing that Mori may be listening. She looks around before leaning in closer so Mori doesn't hear.

"About how I've never felt loved or any of those feelings?" She whispers, I nod and she hugs me close. "There's no reason for you to be sad about that. Your showing me how to be loved."

"Onee-chan? What's wrong with Honey-Senpai?" Haruhi asks, sitting down on the couch, right next to Akiko.

"Nothing, he was just remembering something I told him long ago. It doesn't matter now, right Honey?" She looks at Haruhi before looking at me and I nod. She leans closer and rubs noses with me before setting me down on the ground. "Go have fun."

"Bye Akiko-Chan, bye Haruhi-san!" I run off with Usa-chan to go play. I hear Akiko giggle before she squeaks in surprise. I turn my head slightly to see Mori had sat on her other side, and she kinda slid right into him.

Akiko's POV.

"Gomenasai Mori-chan!" I squeak as I try to move away from him. He wraps his arm around my shoulder before pulling me close. "M-Mori?" I ask, shocked he is doing this.

"What is that?" He asks, pointing to a spot in the room. I look and realise he was trying to make me see it from his angle. I see something under one of the armchairs. I get up front the couch and walk over to the chair. Whatever it is, it whimpered so I took cautious steps before slowly bending down to look under the chairs to see a...
