Months passed by, Weeks flew by, Days as well. Hours turned into minutes and into seconds and finally, it's just two days before my kamu. Everyone is at their heels. No one has time to rest. It's all about Bookings! Appointments, Dress fittings, and whatnot.

I went on more dates with Khalid. He showered me with so much live and gifts. I couldn't have asked for a better life partner. We went boat riding once in jabi lake, he took me out on rides and so on. I begged him to show me the house we'd live in but he said it was a surprise. Well what can i do?
I got to know him way better than before. Let me just tell you some things. He's very religious and he hates gossips and small talks. He doesn't like his trust broken amd he likes to shower the people he loves with gifts. He likes pure honesty and don't give him food that is plain, no spices.

Today my kayan lefe(gifts full of new clothes and accessories for the bride from the groom) will be brought frm the grooms side. I was so excited to see them but mama told me I shouldn't be at home when they come.

I had just finished taking my bath and by the time i came out, i saw Adda Rahma, two of my cousins, Amra and Ummi sitting on the bed. They were all chatting and laughing away. So I quickly wore my clothes before their attentions turned on me. I wore an orange and blue six piece atamfa with large flower petals. I  tied my headtie neatly and draped my veil. I grabbed my bag and phone and headed out. I'd already planned with Halima that she'd help me shop for some few simple jewelry. The grooms family will definitely include that but i knew they wouldn't really put everyday jewelry.

I drove down to Halima's place and pulled over by the fence.

"Hello where are you?" I asked immediately she answered.

"I'm putting on my shoes. Just gimme a minute," she yelled.

In less than five minutes she came out and I zoomed off.
We went to the market, i bought about eight different earrings. They were all simple and everyday jewelry. Four had necklaces while four were just earrings.

After we were done, it was already almost asr so we decided to visit our friends house. We went to Amira's house to visit her and surprisingly, most of our friends were there also. Khadija,Aliyah, Asma'u, Hafsat. Only Samira, Zainab and Ramla weren't there.

"Amaryaaa!(bride!) Amira jumped on me.

"Khalid's one and only. Kai Asiya you are very lucky gaskiya. He loves you so very much fah," Asma'u commented. I couldn't help but blush. I quickly sat on the edge of the bed and covered my face.

"Yauwa Asiya i have something for you," Amira said.

"What is it?" I asked curiously.

I watched her as she walked to her wardrobe and grabbed something.
She then handed me a box with Amimmah written boldly on it. I blushed and blushed intil i turned vermilion. It showed very well since i was fair.

"You should take each of the sachets every day till your wedding night. Umm the kamu is on Friday right? Then Dinner and Fatiha on saturday. Then you get conveyed on sumday night. And take it when you're being comveyed okay? You know we want to come for the naming ceremony as soon as possible, I'll bring more for you, and before you start, make sure you give him water melon and dates and honey o," She explained.

"Kaiii Amira you are shameless wallahi,"

"Leave her, she thinks it's that easy." Halima chipped in.

"Ai Amira we must find a husband for you as soon as possible," Khadija laughed.

We all laughed and joked till we ran out of energy.
Around 5pm, mama called me to inform me that they have left and i could cone back home.

I dropped Halima off first, and rushed home. Immediately I stepped in, i heard two of my auties singing a popular hausa song 'Ta zama Ta zama dauko riga....'

"AlhamdulilLah Asiya, you received 30 boxes, you really are a lucky girl. Today my older sister must be the happiest," My aunt, Aunty Fatima said cheerfully.

I went to my room, freshened up and went to the mini living room where all my boxes were. Adda Rahma opened each and every one for me and i saw really expensive and nuce things. Super wax, Gold jewelries, Diamond wrist watches, designer shoes, and different expensive stuff.

"Lallai this your in laws are fully amd completely loaded," Adda Rahma said.

"Hmm Wallahi kam," i smiled. "By the way, is Ya Kabir back?"

"Yes he came back today in the morning. I've told him I'll be staying here till monday,"

"Oh okay,"

I went to my room and most of my cousins were all there, we kept chatting and talking about random stiff though mainly the wedding.

I had already collected all my outfits. My Kamu outfit, Dinner dress, the lafaya for wedding fatiha and an Alkyabba for conveyance. I got my dress for the budan kai as well. And the remaining dresses as well.

Once it was time for maghrib, my cousins left for the family house. They lived there and it was just 5 minutes away from our house so they don't really have to be sleeping in our house.

I quickly performed wudhu and said my prayers. I prayed to Allah to give me all the strength i need and the ability to serve my husband and in laws.

Just as i got up to take a short nap, i had my phone ring. I checked the caller ID and found out it was my one and only.

"Hey," i said.

"Hey sweetie," he replied.

"How are you?" He asked in a deep voice. I tell you his voice is fucking awesome.

"I'm good and you,"

"I'm fine too," he answered.

"I miss you wallahi," I pouted.

"I missed you more baby girl. I can't wait for you to be completely mine. I can't wait to have you all to myself. No sharing," he chuckled after his statement.

"You're really cheesy fah,"

"For my beautiful wifey only,"

We talked and talked until it was isha prayer time. We excused each other to pray and after praying we continued to talk till god knows when.
