Chapter Twelve- A Brief surprise

Bulma's POV
I lead both Chichi and Gohana inside. "It's still so exciting that your daughter is the new world Champion Chichi! Do you agree!!?" I asked excitedly. "But of course! With all the zeni awards coming her away, she and Gohan are going to have a great college education and experiences!" She said hugging Gohana tightly. "We should have a party to celebrate! Invite all our friends and families too!" I shouted. "That sounds like a wonderful idea Bulma! It's going to be so much fun! Don't you agree Gohana?" She asked still hugging her daughter. "C-Can't... Breathe! T-Too tight!" Gohana strained to say. "Oops! Sorry sweetie. I got too excited. " She giggled. "But you do agree with the idea right?!" We both asked her. "U-Uhh sure why not? Just no more hugging please." Gohana asked. "Deal!" We both said. "Now just wait here in the living room, we'll be right back with your surprise okie enjoy the cakes and pastries!!" I said walking away with Chichi. "Um okie! I'll be here waiting!" She said.

~Three hours later~

"Phew that was rough! We'll continue this training tomorrow father. Hopefully I'll be strong enough to defeat Cell and finally get Gohana back!" A voice said. "Trunks you need to move on and forget about her. She's not into you, and she'll probably kill you as well. You need to remember why you are here and defend your future and forget about ours... " Another voice spoke. "B-But father-?" "No buts Trunks! She loves Cell, not you. End discussion!" Vegeta said glaring at Trunks with frustration. Vegeta walks back into the gravity chamber and locks the door. Trunks sighs and walks to the living room, "Hey mom can we talk-huh?" Instead of Bulma being in the living room, there was Gohana sleeping peacefully on the couch. "She's here... S-She's really here." Trunks said quietly walking over to her.

Trunks's POV
I quietly walked over to her sat down next to her sleeping body. "She looks so cute." I softly said rubbing her hair. 'But what's she doing here? Shouldn't she be with that bastard Cell?!' I thought. "Maybe she'll be more comfortable somewhere else... " I said picking gently picking her up. "She looks so peaceful in my arms." I said softly carries her to my room. As soon as I made it to the door, the gravity chamber opened. 'Oh crap baskets, dad's going to kill me' I thought to myself. I suddenly heard him exit the chamber. "Trunks, I'm going out to visit Kakarrot and check on his daughter. Stay out of trouble while I'm gone understand?" He demanded leaving the building. "Phew, now let's get sleeping beauty somewhere safe~" I said walking into my room locking the door. I gently layed her down on my bed and admired her beauty. "I could watch her all day. " I said holding her. "I might get my ass kicked but it'll be worth it just to have you here." I said softly in her ear. "Cell nuu stop that tickles" She giggled softly in her sleep. I still makes my blood boil to think she chose that creep over me, but I didn't let in ruin my mood. "H-Hey wait, what are you doing? N-No don't do that!~" She moaned loudly in her sleep. I got a bit confused and started to wake her up. "Hey Gohana wake up, you're dreaming!" I said shaking her lightly. She eventually opened her eyes waking up from her strange dream. "H-Huh? Where am I?" She asked. I just hugged her holding her. "It's okay, you're safe." I said to her. "T-Trunks? How did I get in here? I could've sworn I was in the living room before" She questioned. "I just brought you here to rest, so you can be more comfortable." I explained. "Well thank you Trunks but I need to go now." She said. "Awww you don't have to leave now." I said still holding her. "Sorry Trunks but Bulma is probably wondering where I am." She explained moving my arms from around her. "I appreciate you letting me rest in your room you're a great friend. " She said leaving my room.

~Meanwhile back with Cell and Goku training~

Cell's POV
I panted heavily during my fight with Goku. "Well Goku, you really have improved from our last fight, I'm quite impressed. " I smirked. "You bet I have, I've been training non stop! Come on let's go another round!" He said getting into his fighting stance. I powered down and chuckled. "Sorry Goku, I believe that's quite enough for now. I need to check on Gohana and see how's she's doing." I explained. "Aww come on Cell, just one more round!" He plead. "Sorry Goku I need to check on my princess, and you need to check on your wife." I told him patting his shoulder. "Well alright, but I'm sure they're fine." He said teleporting us back to the house. By the time we arrived, Vegeta was standing at the door waiting for us. "Vegeta? What are you doing here?" Goku asked him. "I'm just here to check on your daughter." He answered. "And may I ask why are you doing that Vegeta?" I questioned him. "Don't get the wrong idea, that power of hers is very unstable. Who knows what she'll be able to do if she loses control like that again." Vegeta clarified. "Gohana is awake if that's what you're wondering about Vegeta, and she's doing much better too" Goku elaborated. "Good to know, now I would like to speak with her." He requested. "Sure no problem" Goku said opening the door. "Gohana! Chichi! We're home!" Goku yelled. But there was no answer, just complete silence. "They're not here, where could they have gone?" I questioned walking inside. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "If you're looking for mom and Gohana, they went to capsule corp three hours ago. " Gohan said. "Alright we're going to Capsule corp." I said flying off to the city as everyone else followed behind. "Cell wait! I could just instant transmission us there in no time. " Goku said smiling like an idiot. "Oh of course, I forgot." I said putting my hand on his shoulder as well as Vegeta. "Alright!" He exclaimed teleporting us to Capsule corp. We arrived at Capsule corp and I ran inside looking for Gohana. "Gohana! Where are you?!" I yelled. "Calm down  you idiot, there's no need to worry. She's with Bulma." Vegeta said walking passed me. I quietly followed behind him as he lead me to the living room. "Wait here. " He insisted. I did what he asked and complied as he walked away.
A few minutes has passed as I waited. I heard giggling coming from the hallway, one of the voices sounded familiar. "Gohana?" I softly said. Three figures appeared in the living room and stared at me."Cell? What are you doing here?" Gohana asked. "You weren't at home so I decided to come look for you dear" I answered walking over to her. "Aww isn't that sweet of him Gohana." Bulma giggled. Gohana just blushed and covered her face. "You're embarrassing me in front of everyone." She said. I simply pulled her close to me and hugged her. "I know sweetheart~" I chuckled. "You guys are just so cute together!!" Bulma exclaimed. "Why thank you Bulma, Gohana and I do make a "perfect" Couple." I laughed. "That was so lame it was funny!" Gohan laughed.

"Alright enough joking around, it's time to party!!" Bulma cheered. "Party? For what accusation? If I may ask?" I asked her. "It's party for you two of course! And to commend Gohana for becoming the new champion of the world!!" She shouted excitedly."GOHANA IS THE NEW MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD?!" Goku and Gohan yelled surprised. "Well that's a surprise! Why haven't you told me this Gohana?" I smirked down at her. "I-I-I didn't know about it until my mother told me." She explained looking away from me. "Well I'm proud of you my dear~" I said picking her up. "So am I sweetie, congratulations princess!" Goku said proudly. "Alright enough with the congratulations guys!!" Let's go party!!" Bulma said walking away and dancing. "She must be drunk... " Gohana and Gohan said.
