Continuing from the previous part:-

Mahi's P.O.V :-

As we(Mahi and her mother) reached hospital police instruct us to go in general ward cause Manu is shifted there .

General ward ! means Manu is out of danger only then doctors shift a patient there I thought to myself but soon my this misconception broke when we saw him laying on hospital bed with some machine attached to him and his head wrapped in thick bandage ., he is unconscious and doctor informed us about his condition .

"Accident was very severe but thank god he is alive but he slipped into coma it might be temporary or maybe it take year or so but for now we stitched up the wounds on his head and possibly it'll start to heal soon"  Doctor said as he is explaining about the medical process but what about the pain Manu and we right now going through will that be explained so easy like this ?

Maa broke into tears and i held her for support while police officer told us about the accident it was a road rage case .,  Manu got hit by some luxury car and the driver ran away from the accident scene they are looking for that driver so that Manu got compensation and driver got punishment till then we have to manage hospital bills by ourselves.

I heard him say all this while my mind kept worrying about Manu's health and bills  from where we arrange money?

Soon police officer too left leaving three of us(Me , Maa and Manu) and nurse come to check on Manu , Maa looked at me and said  "Mahi go home and break my FD it has nearly 1 lakh in it which help us dealing with bills of here" .

I never knew Maa had an FD , I thought baba always snatched away all her earnings but I'm so glad she secretly made this FD it'll gave some relief for now .

Nodding my head in agreement i left towards my home to take those FD papers and some essential stuff so that we can stay in hospital with Manu tonight as they discharge him tomorrow after bill payment.

After some time:-

I was on my way back to hospital now that I have some money and stuff with me i thought to ask for my this month's payment from Randhawa's cause first i needed it very urgent and second I'm thinking to leave Randhawa house as I don't want to be related with Adhvait in any way not even as me being maid and him being my employer especially after what he did to me . It's better to kill my love for him than to butchered my self respect.

Randhawa house is in way of hospital so i decided to first go there and take my last hard earned paycheck and then go to hospital, I informed Maa about it and she said it's okay as hospital staff told her that billing will be done in after 4 p.m.

I reach Randhawa house and strangely found many people around mansion why these people here ? Is there any party going on ! Maybe that's the case anyway I have to find Simran mam and ask about my paycheck and leave this job .

Entering in I found Randhawa's sitting in hall area and there is this uneasy silence surrounded in here but why so ?

I was going towards Randhawa's when kaka(Sunil's father) asked me why i wasn't present for 2 days !

"Kaka i was sick and didn't felt well that's why but why such silent atmosphere here and why so many people are present outside?"  I questioned.

Kaka took a heavy sad sigh and say  "Balwant sir is no more with us Mahi" .

What ! How--- when

This news shocked me as I didn't know about it .

Seeing my confused/worried face kaka told me what happened.

"Some people attacked Balwant sir and assistant him it's so said he was coming back from company when this happened 2 days ago"  kaka said .

This means it happened on the day of our break-up.

Suddenly i felt guilty that I didn't check upon Adhvait in these past 2 days  he must be going through a lot.

Thinking all this I look towards his direction and found him sitting with some lawyers discussing something with them but i can see the defeat on his face  and i don't want to increase his anger by showing my face to him so i decided to just go back to hospital without anyone's notice it's best for now .

I turn to go and collide with Prithvi who passed an evil smirk seeing me and ask  "Mahi how are you ? mourning with prince Addy or without him huh ?"

I want to slap him so hard right now and I was about to reply him in a way that he won't open his filthy mouth before me but just then Adhvait came there and by looks he is giving he doesn't wants to see me here anymore...
