Peter's POV

It took me everything not to explode.

I knew I had anger and irritation displayed on my face when I saw Scott's face turn into worry and concern.

I could easily just kill him right there and then, but due to him dating my sister, I had to keep him alive.

For the sake of Scott's fate, I had to find the urge to calm down. Sadly, Rae nor Petra weren't here to help me, so I had to do this without causing a bloody scene.

I took a few deep breaths before closing my eyes to only focus on me.

" Pan, are you okay? " , Scott asked with concern.

" I'm fine. " , I gritted my teeth as I tried to remain focus.

" You don't look fine. ", Scott said

I looked at Scott with a cold glare. My face displaying my serious facial expression. I pointed to Petra's bed.

" Sit. ", I said sternly.

Scott quickly obeyed me and sat on the front of my sister's bed. He remained quiet with his eyes staring at the ground like it was the most interesting thing right now.

" You do know that I will have to punish you for your betrayal. I don't tolerate traitors. ", I said firmly.

Scott remained quiet. His eyes not leaving his attention towards the ground.

" I know you have very good hearing, so I expect a reply. ", I retorted

Nothing. The most famous alpha couldn't even reply to my statement. I must have actually scared the poor boy.

" Pan. You see me as a traitor for allowing Victor to take over the camp and the island. Although I have accepted myself making a mistake, I did something about it. Once I recognized my mistake, I immediately took it upon myself to inform you, Pan. I could have taken Victor's offer and stole Petra away from you despite your hatred for me, but instead, I refused and decided to remain loyal to you. I am not loyal to you for Petra'a sake. I am loyal to you because I respect you despite your cruelty and wicked mind. ", Scott explained carefully. " You are a leader. You were born to be a leader. Not just a leader to your lost boys, but also a leader to everyone else. I am speaking as a leader to another leader, Pan. We all make mistakes and its best to just accept our mistakes and move on. "

I stood still with arms crossed above my chest. Every word that Scott had spoken made me realize that Scott was a quiet boy with wise words. I listened carefully and slowly nodded when he finished his little explanation.

" I must say Alpha, you are a patient and wise leader. The complete opposite of me. I had so much anger in me because I felt like nobody respects me and my rules and decided to take out my anger on you. Mainly because you are just easy to blame since you are not from around here. However, I don't know where we stand. I don't trust people easily because of greedy people like Victor could find a way to get the ones that I care about to go against me because I am a horrible person. It made me think that if Victor could seem nice and cunning, then it made me question you. ", I explained

Scott slowly nodded as his head as a response. A small smile displayed on his face.

" Well Pan, I believe that you are a great leader. We all have our flaws, even I do, so I'm not perfect. But you have people who care about you. Even I was upset when Victor started to take over because Neverland isn't the same without Peter Pan. " , Scott stated. " You have an island to take care and your loyal companions behind your back. "

" Well I kinda realized that when everyone stood by my side against Victor. " , I admitted.

" You are a strong leader to your lost boys, a wonderful boyfriend to Rae, a great brother to Petra, and a good person even when you are a villian. " , Scott said before nodding.

" You are just saying that to get on my good side. " , I murmured stubbornly.

" No, I'm saying that because it's true. " , the Alpha said.

I hummed as a response while rolling my eyes.

" What can I do to earn your trust, Pan? " , he sighed.

" You can do something about Victor. " , I simply said.

" That I can do. " , Scott nodded.

" I mean you are an Alpha werewolf, so put him in his place for me. " , I said.

" You can count on me! ", Scott exclaimed

" Good. You can stand up now. " , I said seeing him trying not to move from his position.

Scott sighed in relief before standing back up. He twisted his back and popped his muscles before looking at me. Then he patted my shoulder which felt awkward to me because I still was not use to his friendly gestures.

" Never let anyone take away what or who means a lot to you. " , Scott advised me.

" I won't let it happen again, Alpha. " , I assured him.

Surprisingly, the werewolf gave me a hug. I slowly returned the gesture before patting his back slowly.

Unexpectedly, my door slammed open to reveal a pissed off Petra, a worried Evie, and a expressionless shadow of mine.

They had one job. One job.
