Peter's POV

" PETER! " , my girlfriend panicked.

" I would appreciate if you didn't make my ear bleed. " , I said.

" And I would appreciate if you listen to me for once and put me down right now! " , Rae demanded.

" Want me to drop you now? " , I asked raising my eyebrow.

Rae slowly turned her head down below. I was currently flying around my island. I carried Rae bridal style easily, but she held on me to tightly.

She had a fear of heights.

Of course, I already knew that when I locked her in that cage one time. She has yet to forgive me for being cruel to her that day.

I have to admit that I was harsh on Rae when I first met her, but you know I prefer my walls built up strongly. However, Rae found a way to break my wall. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

" No thanks. " , Rae mumbled quietly to my question.

" Oh come on, you and the mermaids could be besties since you and them are familiar with one another. " , I chuckled.

SLAP!

" Ow! " , I grunted.

SLAP!

" Rae, stop it. " , I huffed. " I need to concentrate on flying here unless you want me to drop you. "

SLAP!

" Do you really want to test me? " , I asked getting annoyed.

" It wouldn't be the first time. " , Rae snickered.

" I will drop you. " , I said dangerously.

" You wouldn't dare because you love me. " , Rae grinned.

I rolled my eyes at her response.

" You are lucky that I love you. " , I mumbled.

Rae giggled softly before she stayed close to me and buried her face in my chest.

I smiled slightly as I looked down seeing my adorable snowflake curled up to me. I had to admit that it made my heart warm up. I was flattered.

I looked up to see the familiar island in a shape of a skull. The giant two eyes of the Skull visible to make my landing.

Skull Rock.

I flew towards the sacred island and calmly landed inside of the island through one of the skull eyes. I continued to carry Rae before making my way in front of the skull eyes. A familiar chest rested on top of a platform that was supported by golden skulls,stacked together, was to my far right.

" We have landed, love. " , I whispered to Rae.

Her arms unwrapped from my neck before I placed her down gently. Her hand linked into mine as she rested her head on my chest.

" Pan. " , a familiar deep voice spoke.

" Shadow. " , I stated.

" Rae. " , my shadow spoke with a softer tone.

" Hi. " , Rae said shyly.

" I still can't believe that you and Rae are together. " , my shadow murmured.

" Is that a problem? " , I asked sternly.

" I was just saying. I'm still shocked. " , my shadow stated.

When I introduced my shadow to Rae as my girlfriend, he felt uneasy at first. He didn't think it was a good idea because now my weakness has been found, but I didn't care.

I knew that it was a matter of time before I got to have a taste of being in love. Of course, Wendybird wasn't an option because she was just plain annoying. Tiger Lily and I are somewhat friends. Tink and I were just allies.

Rae was surprised when she found out that I had a shadow that acually floated. She freaked out and became scared at first, but slowly got to know him and now they get along.

" Well what can I say? Peter and I just clicked. " , Rae nodded.

" It's more like you and Pan were head to head a couple of times before you both confessed your love for one another. " , the shadow said.

" He isn't lying. " , I mumbled.

Rae lightly punched my shoulder.

" Anyways, what do you want? " , I asked in a bored tone.

" I want you and Rae to know that your relationship is adorable; however you must understand that you can't avoid your duties, Pan. " , my shadow said sternly.

" I'm not avoiding my duties. I don't need you to keep me in check. " , I snapped back.

" You are avoiding your duties. " , my shadow clarified.

" What about Petra? She avoids her duties because she is always with Scott. Why am I getting scolded? " , I asked gettint frustrated.

" Because Neverland is YOUR island that comes with responsibilities that you are avoiding. I respect you and Rae's relationship but I need you to keep alert. " , my shadow scolded me.

" I am always alert. " , I said stubbornly.

" Really? How is every creature doing on the island? ", my shadow tested me.

" I don't know. I haven't checked up with anyone. " , I murmured.

" Exactly my point. Get your head in the game, Pan. It's your island. " , my shadow said.

" I know it's my island. Everybody knows it's my island. " , I said.

" Shadow. we all due respect but Peter has been doing his best. I'm sure that you have nothing to worry about. " , Rae assured him.

" I hope not. I need a vacation. " , he murmured.

" You are a shadow! You don't do anything! " , I exclaimed.

" I know, it's tough being the shadow of you. " , my shadow said.

Then that's when Rae started laughing.

" Ha. Ha. Very funny. " , I said annoyed.

" I know. Now you may leave. " , my shadow informed me.

I rolled my eyes before a cloud of green smoke surrounded Rae and I. Her eyes widened before she held on me tightly. I held her close and gave my shadow a small wave before sticking out my tongue.

" Childish teenage boy. " , I heard my shadow murmured before we disappeared.
