Victor's POV

" Boys! Come out! " , I hollered, my voice echoing through the dark forest.

No reply.

Where is everyone today?

Did I miss something while I was gone?

Did Pan kill all of the lost boys?

I stopped in my tracks and shuttered at that thought.

Before I could even take another stop, I heard the most angelic voice call my name.

" Victor! Victor! " , my girl cried out for me.

My eyes widened seeing the familiar blue-haired, brown-eyed, fair-skinned, and well dressed girl approach me. Her outfit looked more appropriate for the weather in Neverland, yet the wedges never failed to make a sight.

" Victiee! " , Evie squealed before throwing her arms around her neck and hugging me tightly.

" Evie! " , I replied with the same excitement before hugging her back gently.

I started to get a little excited because Evie acually ran into my arms on her own. Then she dressed up all adorable for me. I knew that she liked me! I knew it!

" So what are you doing in Neverland? Did you come to visit me? " , I asked eagerly.

Real smooth, Victor.

Real smooth.

Evie started giggling for shaking her head. She placed her hands on my chest and started to rub my arms gently.

" You silly goose,  I didn't come to Neverland to see you. I came to visit Pan and Damon decided to tag along, but then I lost him, so thankfully you know your way around this island, so you could help me find Damon. " , Evie smiled at me.

My heart clenched at her statement of only using me to find her idiotic boyfriend. I fisted my hands tightly before looking at Evie.

" Are you okay, Victor? Your eyes are flickering purple and you are breathing heavily. " , Evie said with concern.

" I'm fine. " , I said although I was definitely not fine.

" Well, do you know where I could find Damon? " , Evie asked sweetly before lightly brushing dust off my shoulders.

" No. I don't know. " , I said darkly.

Evie giggled softly at me.

" You are so cute when you get jealous. " , Evie said before cupping my cheeks. " But I hope you realize that we will only be friends. "

" I DESERVE YOU! " , I shouted at her. " YOU DONT NEED A PRINCE! YOU NEED ME! "

Evie placed her hands over my mouth before shushing me.

" There is no need to let everyone know your frustration. " , Evie said gently before removing her hand from my mouth.

I pushed away from Evie's grasp and decided to not waste my time on her.

" Victor! " , I heard Evie whine before she wrapped her arms around me from behind. " Don't leave me, please. I don't feel safe in these dark woods all by myself. "

I turned around to meet her worried chocolate eyes and bottom lip quivering slightly. I blinked a few times before sighing.

" Fine. " , I mumbled.

I heard a mix between a giggle and a squeal before Evie wrapped her arm around my bicep and dragged me deeper into the dark forest.

Wasn't I suppose to lead her?

Anyways, I didn't complain as I allowed Evie to drag me anywhere. But then I got concerned and became more aware when I realized that Evie dragged us to a forest with little light.

The trees stood evenly. The thin bare branches scattering in the air. The thick leaves covering the sunlight from entering the forest that it darkness mostly covered the forest ground. Spooky mist made the cold atmosphere thickened and I suddenly felt chills going down my spine.

" Evie, we shouldn't be here. " , I mumbled to her.

" It's just the woods. " , Evie shrugged as she ignored the eerie surroundings.

" This is the darkest part of Neverland! " , I exclaimed. " You dragged us into the Dark Forest where shadows and creatures of the night lurk! "

" Oh well. " , Evie said before she stopped at her tracks suddenly and titled her head at something.

I stood next to Evie while feeling her grip tightened when we held hands. My eyes widened before seeing red glowing eyes hidden in the shadows. A low growl was heard.

" Victor. Do something! " , Evie whispered to me.

" I...um...uh..." , I panicked before putting Evie behind me.

" We come in peace. No harm. " , I said calmly. " No show to see here so shoo. "

Another growl was heard as a response as it approached out of the shadows.

The figure revealed to be Scott. Red glowing eyes, sharp claws replacing his finger nails, long piercing fangs, and hair on the side of his face.

" Alpha. Evie is no enemy. She is a friend of mine. " , I assured him.

Scott growled once again but this time, it was a low threatening growl and I felt my face pale. The werewolf approached closer to us before Evie started walking towards him.

" Evie! He will kill you! " , I warned her.

Evie ignored me and simply gave Scott a small smile before the Alpha walked past her and came towards me.

" Evie! " , I snapped.

" I think he finds you the enemy. " , she taunted.

With a loud growl, I ran into the dark woods as long as my legs could take me before I stopped in my tracks and breathed heavily knowing that I was finally alone.

Or I thought I was alone.
