Peter's POV

I stood in front of Rae, her face still buried in the sand.

" Love, are you okay? " , I asked a little concerned.

Her response was muffled.

I swirled my finger around to make Rae's body float upward until her feet touched the ground. Sand covered her body from head to toe.

I lightly chuckled before I snapped my fingers to magically clean up her up. Her blue eyes fluttered before looking at me.

I turned to Petra. She giggled seeing Scot covered in sand, before she snapped her fingers to clean him up.

" So, how was your adventure with Scott? " , I asked Rae with crossed arms.

" It was amazing! " , Rae exclaimed. " He introduced me to his pack and gave me a tour of his hometown. I also met his mom and she is very nice. "

I slowly nodded at Rae.

" Have you met Isaac? " , Petra asked Rae.

" Yeah. One of Scott's Betas. " , Rae confirmed.

" Isn't he adorable? " , Petra giggled.

" Awe, yes he is. Adorable and very tall. He is just so precious and innocent. It's cute. " , Rae agreed.

I glared at Rae and shook my head.

Scott gave Petra the same glare with crossed arms.

" But of course, I'm taken. " , Petra chirped.

" Same. " , Rae giggled softly before biting her lip cutely at me.

" Girls these days. " , Scott muttered under his breath.

" Take a chill pill, Scotty. I mean Rae and I were just complimenting Isaac. You have to admit that he is a shy pup. " , Petra poked his chest.

" Whatever. " , Scott mumbled.

I nodded my head. Agreeing with Scott for the first time, probably.

Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. Rae's head buried in my chest as she hugged me tightly.

" You are the only boy that I love. " , she said softly to me.

" And you are the only girl that I love. " , I whispered to her.

She blushed slightly in response before I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her forehead. My hands running through her black hair.

" Scotty, don't be like this. There is no need to get all jealous or pout. I'm yours and only yours, Alpha. " , Petra cooed.

" Good. " , Scott said huskily before pulling Petra close to him.

We all just stayed like this. Hugging one another and enjoying the presence of being with our loved ones.

Until it was ruined by the one and only lost boy who would dare interrupt my cute moments with Rae.

" Ew. That's gross. " , he gagged.

Devin.

" We are just hugging one another, twerp. " , Petra stuck out her tongue.

" And being all lovey dovey. " , Devin replied before looking at me.

" Oh my gosh. Pan is hugging someone other than Petra. " , he gasped.

" And Pan will kill you if you open your mouth again. " , I threatened Devin.

" And Petra will stop him before he dares hurt my friend. " , Petra mocked me.

" Shut up, Petra. Let me discipline him. " , I grumbled.

" Threatening him isn't disciplining him. " , Petra shook her head.

" True. " , Scott slowly nodded.

" I mean, I don't threaten anyone in my pack. " , he added.

" You are too nice. " , I rolled my eyes at Scott.

" And you aren't. " , Devin muttered under his breath.

My fist clenched and I felt anger boil in my blood. I hated being disrespected. I hated being humiliated. It was a death wish for those who do so to me.

" What do you want, love? " , Petra asked Devin.

" Pan's stupid shadow send me to find Pan and Rae. " , Devin informed Petra. " But now that I did that, maybe your boyfriend can teach me how to hunt properly. "

" Sounds good. " , Petra nodded before looking at me.

" Good luck with yourself. " , she mumbled before holding Scott's hand and happily skipping over to Devin before they disappeared out of my sight.

I felt Rae sigh before trying to unwrap my clenched fists to fit into her hand.

" Relex, Peter. Devin left. " , she said softly.

" One day, Rae. One day I'm going to lose it with that kid. I swear if Petra hadn't always protected him from me then I would get rid of him. " , I huffed

" Devin is a nice kid, Peter. He is just a troublemaker a lot. Just let him be. " , Rae said rubbing my arms gently.

" Petra. He is getting out of hand. I mean he just doesn't understand that I'm the authority and that I-" , I started before Rae interrupted me.

Her lips folded into mine interrupting my little rant and I wrapped my arms around her tightly. Our kiss was sweet and gentle before she ran her fingers through my hair and broke away.

" Thanks. " , I mumbled.

" No problem. " , she smiled poking my nose.

" Now. Let's get going. Wouldn't want to keep your shadow waiting. " , Rae said.

" You do realize that I will have to fly us there. " , I reminded Rae.

" Why not just teleport? " , Rae pouted.

" Where is the fun in that? " , I chuckled

She crossed her arms frustrated. Her pouty face looking into my soul.

" No. " , she huffed stubbornly.

I formed a smirk on my face.
