Finale

Miles of trees covered the land. The reflective greens of the landscape glowed as the sunlight danced between the trees. Standing at the entrance of the highlands, a feeling of peace as the wind sings a lullaby of serenity.

"I've lived here practically my whole life and never knew about this," Jimin said, about to walk out of the cave when Yunho stopped him. He pointed to a trip wire right in front of my feet and the censored alarms ten feet away. "Damn, that would have been bad. Thanks for having my back." He said gratefully.

"No biggie, we are all here for the same goal. San, go ahead of us and disarm the alarms. Alaric set up some C-4 explosives throughout the cave. Jonah, you should stay with him for backup and ensure the others arrive without hassle. Everyone else, come with me and stay alert." Yunho commanded.

Watching him, Jimin was glad Yunho was on his side.

San finished disarming the alarms in the entrance way of the cave. "Everything is clear."

We began to cautiously walk forward. "Wait," San said, holding up his hand. He pointed to "Heat censored cameras."

"Don't worry, I got that covered." Yunho took out his phone, typed in some codes, and then boom, we suddenly had a ten-mile radius satellite view of the area.

"That is so cool," Jungkook said, amazed.

Blake chuckled. "No time to be awestruck, guys. We have to find our sister."

"I need a few more seconds to send our location to Tae, and we're good. You might feel funny, but don't worry, it will pass within a few seconds." Yunho warned.

Just then, an electrical pulse coursed through their bodies.

Jimin toppled over in nausea. "Oh my god! What the hell was that?"

"The feeling will pass soon. That was just an electromagnetic pulse that would temporarily disable electronics within the set radius. Every living and nonliving thing has some sort of electronic force. All I did was release a synthetic or mutated electrical pulse that would safely rearrange our cells to adapt to our surroundings. Putting us in stealth mode." Jungkook and I looked at each other, confused.

"My dear brother is trying to say that we are now undetectable, off the grid. Gosh, you're so annoying when you nerd out on me." Blake said, rolling his eyes.

Yunho chuckled. "Anyways, it also broke down the electrical barriers preventing Tae from tracking Y/N's exact location."

"We're in heading your way." Tae texted.

"No matter how often we've done this, I will never get used to it," San said, taking out a chocolate bar for everyone. "Eat these. It will help with nausea."

At least ten to fifteen minutes passed by San has been disarming traps and alarms along the way. There were even a few land mines.

Jungkook groaned. "We have been walking for hours. Are we sure this is the right place?"

Jimin slapped him on the back of the head. "Shut up it hasn't been that long. We must be getting close to the right place; otherwise, why go through all the trouble of setting up cameras and traps if there wasn't anything they were trying to hide or keep secure."

Yunho showed us his screen. "Yeah, he's right. I'm detecting major heat waves in three relatively close locations. The biggest location is half a mile West from here."

"That could be backup. We commonly do that when we want to protect something precious." Jungkook inquired.

"That's possible because .3 miles northeast shows at minimum thirty people being idle in the area."

"My guess Y/N is being held there, but why is this one moving?" I asked.

San looked at the screen. "That's because they are on the move and rapidly heading our way, hide."

We quickly hid behind the trees and in high grass. Two jeeps drove past our hiding spot heading west but stopped mid-drive. "They couldn't have seen us, right," Jungkook asked.

Gunfire rang off in the distance. "CODE RED. THE PRISONER HAS ESCAPED. I REPEAT, THIS IS A CODE RED." Someone yelled over the walkie-talkie.

"Secure the area the prisoner is trying to escape." one of the bodyguards said.

Yunho laughed. "That's defiantly Y/N." Then, on cue, our girl came running out of the building but ended up surrounded by guards.

Mina followed her with a bloody nose. "Did you really think you could escape? There is nowhere for you to go. You are all alone."

She chuckled. "Who said I was alone?" she questioned smugly.

Catch Me If You Can

I cracked my neck, trying to release the tension after sitting in the most uncomfortable chair on the planet for hours. Then, I heard guns being drawn and realized that I needed to finish escaping.

"You are not going anywhere," Mina yelled.

I stood face to face with her. "Well, I am definitely not staying here, and there is no way I'm sitting this pretty ass back in that chair."

"Don't worry, you won't be sitting in that chair but your grave." Nayeon spat.

"As much as I would enjoy killing you, sadly, I have to let you all live." I striped the gun out of the hands of the nearest guards. I grabbed Mina and aimed the gun at her head, slowly backing towards the exit.

Mina struggled to free herself. "Do you think you will get out of here alive? There is nowhere for you to go."

I whispered in her ear, "I guess we'll see about that, sweetheart." With that, I turned her around and socked her in the face. Blood came gushing out of her nose as she fell to the floor. "That was just the appetizer. Catch me if you can." I bolted out of the door, occasionally having to stop to fight. My movements were a little slower than usual from muscle tension, but I am a fighter; I will push forward until I can't and then fight a little more.

"Fuck, I'm exhausted."

"Find her she cannot escape." I heard more footsteps nearing.

I pushed off the wall and slid into a crawl space, but there was a hole in the floor. "Shit, I didn't think this through." I landed on my back with a grunt, "Ouch."

Darting around, I noticed I was in a weird basement that looked more up-to-date than the rest of the building. Multiple doors were lining the wall, a bizarre room with various cells.

Unexpectedly I heard a raspy voice coming from behind one of the doors "The only way out of here is to go up."

That voice, why does that voice sound so familiar? Peeking through the bars, I saw a man chained to a wall, head hung low. "Go to the end of the hall, make a left. You should see a stairwell go up to fifty steps no more, no less from there you should be able to find the exit." My curiosity made me want to see his face. "What are you waiting for? Go! Make it out alive, Y/N."

I was stunned. How does he know my name? "Who are you?"

"Someone you've always known. Now get out of here, hurry."

The footsteps were nearing again. I bolted in the direction that man told me to go. I kept running until I could feel the sunlight bathe my skin and the smell of nature's freshness cleanse my lungs. The euphoria came to an end as I was then surrounded by guards once again.

Mina came out soon after, "Did you really think you could escape? There is nowhere for you to go. You are all alone."

I looked at her smugly. "Who said I was alone?"

Before she could say anything, eight masked men emerged from their hiding spots with guns drawn. "It's good to see you, sis."

I know that voice, "It's good to see you too, little prince." I said with a slight smile.

Jungkook playfully groaned. "Okay, stop with the mushy stuff," he eyed Mina. "Well, well, look at the mess you've created, Mina. I can't wait to see what King will do with you."

Tzuyu stood forward. "You are outmanned and outgunned. There's no way you guys are winning against us, so put down your guns and surrender."

Jimin yawned. "That's cute." he looked to his brother and crime, Jungkook. "3".

Jungkook cocked his gun "2."

"1" simultaneously, they shot their guns. Their movements were like a rhythmic dance as a guard after guard fell to their deaths.

Jungkook blew the smoke from his gun. "Now, is there anyone else who wants to say something stupid? Any takers? Come on, I have a bullet waiting for you."

Several luxury expeditions arrived on the scene, and Yoongi and the others, including thirty guards, stepped out. He walked up to me and examined my face. "Oh, my Queen, how dare they tarnish your beauty. They deserved something far worse than a quick death. What would you have me do with them?" he wanted me to decide their fates.

"Let them go," I said without hesitation.

He looked at me, confused. "Are you sure?"

I shook my yes "Just trust me."

Alaric stood next to me. "What do you have up your sleeve, little thang?"

I smirked at him. "You know me so well."

He nudges my shoulder. "You are my sister. But, of course, I know you and don't think I'm letting you off easily. I told you I wanted to be a part of the plan from the beginning." I smiled, knowing he won't let this go.

"Anyways, I don't want anything to happen to them. I want Mina and her clan to live to fight another day, and in time I will act. I want them to feel me coming near as I take everything and everyone from them. I want them to get well acquainted with the fear of not knowing when their last day will be. I want them to await the consequences of crossing me."

I don't easily forgive. Everything that has been done to me will be done to my enemies ten times over. I took a final glance at a devastated Mina. "I'm going to make your lives a living hell. A war is coming. Bye-bye for now." I got into the passenger's seat of Yoongi's car.

This. Means. War.
