The morning did turned up so quickly. It felt like I had just laid my head on my bed.

I was extremely tired and today was going to be another tiring day.

The designer was going to come down to get a wedding dress ready for Anna and Daniel a wedding suit. He's going to take all the necessary measurements required and make the best dress for the two of them.

I quickly got out of bed and took a quick shower and slipped into a pink drawstring dress and wore the nearest pair of flats I could find and parted my hair neatly.

As soon as I was done, I made my way down for a late breakfast-early lunch. None of them had arrived at that point yet.

Soon, Charlie came.

"Good morning sunshine!", he exclaimed at the top of his voice and sat next to me.

"Good morning annoying guy!", I replied with a smile on my face.

"So this is how you're gonna play right?", he asked.

"Play what? I found you annoying so I said that to you while you found me a sunshine!", I didn't even know what I was blabbering.

"You're looking beautiful.", he randomly blurted out.

"Are you bored?", I asked him.

"No, why?", he asked.

I was not looking at him all these while. But from the corner of my eyes, I could tell that he was staring at me.

"Then why are you looking at me?", another question flew out of my mouth.

"Because you're beautiful!"

I felt my cheeks turning red and a weird tinkling feeling occurring within me.

"Oh so this is the girl you've been talking about Charlie!", an unfamiliar voice spoke.

Both of us immediately turned behind and stood up from our chairs.

"Who is she?", I mumbled as I saw Charlie in a state of shock.

"Oh my boy! Charlie! My baby!", she ran towards Charlie and hugged him.

I kept looking at them. Is that his girlfriend? Or wait! Mother? Or sister?

They broke the hug and she walked towards me.

"Oh so she's the special girl you've been talking for the past month? You're beautiful my dear!", she pulled me for a hug as well.

1 month?

I don't even know Charlie for the past 1 day!

"Mum, it's not her!", Charlie finally spoke something.

That woman is his mother! She looks so young!

"It's not... What??", she just proved me that she's his mother. She couldn't understand 4 damn words.

"Jennifer isn't the girl I was talking about. I just got to know her 18 hours ago.", he remembers what time we met.

Wait!

There's someone special in his life?!

This totally broke my heart.

Very badly.

I felt like crying for a moment.

But why is it even affecting me? That's a big question to ask myself! I only knew him for the past 18 hours and I'm feeling bad after finding out that he has a girlfriend!

That's sick!

"I'm sorry my mum acted like that!", suddenly I heard Charlie's voice.

His mother was no longer around. I wonder how long was I daydreaming.

"Where did she go?", I asked Charlie.

"Keep her stuff in her room. When my ex-girlfriends saw my mother, they immediately rejected me. She's a bit emotional and stupid. She's just totally opposite. My current girlfriend is coming tomorrow and if she sees her like that, she will totally change our relationship status from "I love you babe" to "its too complicated babe"!", he sounded so pissed off.

So he doesn't like his mother.

"You have a girlfriend? And you still flirt with me?", that's the only I could say at that point. How stupid of me!

"That's because it's my attitude. Even my current girlfriend knows about it. I might flirt but I wouldn't go to the extent of kissing and sleeping with the girls I flirt. I would never cheat my girlfriend."

Wow! So I would never get a kiss from those lips of his. And I wouldn't even...

What the hell am I thinking! I should just ignore everything and have my breakfast!

"I think I should go and check on Anna. I wonder why she's taking so my time to come down. I'm very hungry!", I tried to sound as natural as I could.

I'm very confused with what I'm doing!

Am I in love with him?

Is it love at first sight.

Or is he so seductive and intimidating at the same time.  !

He's too irresistible. 

Jennifer!

You weren't like that.

How could you think such things!

You have just met him 18 hours ago!

"Jennifer! I'm so excited!", I've arrived at the front of Anna's room.

"Why? You're just getting yourself measured for the dress. That's it!", I sounded quite rude but seriously what is there to be excited about!

"Oh Jennifer! The day you get you're going to get married, you'll be extremely excited too! Anyways, my parents, Daniel's parents and many of our friends are coming today. Our other two good friends are coming down as well. Even Charlie's parents are coming!"

I knew that in the first place.

"I've only met his mother. She jumps quickly to conclusions!", I told her that she burst into laughter.

"So she mistook you for Charlie's current girlfriend! She mistook me too when she saw me for the first time.", she continued to giggle.

"Charlie does hate  her a lot right?", I asked her.

"Hate isn't the right word. Detest is the word. You'll know the reason one day! Let's go and have breakfast. I'll get Daniel while you go down first.", she left me leaving another clue.

What's wrong with Charlie and Anna! Both of them are speaking things that I don't even understand!

"Jennifer! What are you thinking?", I felt a strong pair of arms on my waist, pulling me back.

I immediately turned back and saw Charlie.

He's everywhere.

"You nearly missed a step. The next thing you would have found out that you decided to change this happy occasion into a sad one.", Charlie was still holding me.

"I just don't understand what you and Anna are talking. Yesterday you spoke something that confused me and today Anna said something that makes me think so much. May I know what you meant yesterday?", I asked him.

He took a deep breath and was about to answer when I heard a high pitch lady squealing.

"Charlie!! I missed you my baby!", those lines from her mouth just led me to stare at Charlie.

"That looks like your girlfriend. I'm right, right?", I asked him.

He just let go of me, and made his way to her.

"Oh Hannah! I thought you were coming in the evening!", the girl/woman ran towards him and gave him a big hug.

"I wanted to surprise you! Look who did I bring along!", she let go of him and turned behind.

A tall man wearing a pair of spectacles walked in and gave his best smile to everyone around him. At this point, Anna, Daniel and Mrs Cooper had joined us.

"Dad! It's great to see you again!", Charlie exclaimed at the top of his voice. Oh, so that guy is his dad. I hope he's nothing like Mrs Cooper.

"Love the surprise?", he asked Charlie.

"Oh just look at my family! I love them!", Mrs Cooper exclaimed in happiness.

"So what do I get for surprising you?", the woman asked Charlie.

"Hannah! You're seriously so demanding! What do you want?", Charlie sounded annoyed even though there was a smile plastered on his face.

"I'll tell you as soon as the right time comes!", she winks at him and walked away.

"Anna!", Hannah squealed with excitement.

"Oh Hannah!", Anna walked down the stairs and gave Hannah a hug.

"How are you?", Anna asked her.

"I'm just so excited to see you in the bride's dress! Anyways when is your designer coming?", Hannah asked.

"I'm here!!", a strange guy sang his words out as he stood at the door.

"Seems like he's here!", Anna giggled.
