THE ALPHA'S MATE

  Haneul grabbed the knife from Chul and placed it on Jimin’s face next.

“Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!” Jimin screamed in terror and agony.

Getting a scar on his face is the last thing he would ever want, and at that moment he felt Shin struggling to take over him, Jimin immediately gave in and shifted right away.

Haneul dropped his hand as he stared at the small looking wolf standing in front of him.

Shin let out a loud growl with it’s remaining strength even though it was already weak because of the silver.

The growl attracted the others and in a minutes, the guards rushed to the scene.

“What’s going on?” A guard asked.

“He just tried to bite my brother! Seize him!!” Chul screamed, pointing at Shin who was still growling angrily and painfully.

Seokjin and Soora were the last to get to the scene.

“Jimin!” Soora screamed with wide eyes and tried running forward but she was pushed back that she fell.

Seokjin immediately held him

‘Shift back right now!!” The guards growled at Jimin but he never listened, he kept growling at Haneul who moved back with a smirk on his face.

*Shin, let me handle this, please* Jimin said to Shin and that was when he shifted back to human.

His body was covered with blood which made the omegas gasped.

“Capture him!” Haneul yelled and the guards moved closer to Jimin.

“He’s the one who’s hurt!! You’re lying!!” Seokjin rushed forward and blocked the guard from getting to Jimin.

“He’s the one who obviously hurt my friend, why are you turning blind eyes?!!!” Seokjin yelled but a whip landed on his back and everyone gasped.

“How dare you speak?!!” The guard yelled angrily.

“They are lying!!! How dare you support them?!!” Seokjin growled back and the guard brought out a sword.

Everyone moved back immediately, Jimin was trying hard to control his tears and weakness, he was getting more tired every second.

The guard faced the other omegas.

“Anyone who still want to talk?” He asked and there was silence.

Haneul smiled and crossed his arms before moving forward.

“Take him….he will receive the punishment he deserves when we return to the castle” He said.

“Noooo!!!!” Soora immediately screamed and tried rushing forward but a guard brought out his sword and placed it on her throat.

Jimin’s eyes widened.

“If you wish for death, move forward” He said.

“Mother noo….I will be fine…please” Jimin immediately shook his head.

Tears rolled down Soora’s eyes.

“Child…”

“I will be fine” Jimin nods his head.

“Move!!” The guard shouted and pushed him forward.

The omegas all watched as Jimin was taken away, they were so sure he might never return alive, he will surely be sent back dead.

Seokjin and Soora were both in tears but as soon as Jimin was out of sight, Soora lost her consciousness.

“Mother!!” Seokjin cried out.

Luna Chaeryong was laying on the bed while some maids massaged her body, suddenly the door opened and Donghwa entered.
Chaeryong raised her head and Donghwa bowed.

“I’m back old Luna” She said.

“What’s going on? I can feel a different presence in the castle” Chaeryong said.

“Oh, Wizard Yoongi is in the castle right now” Donghwa replied and Chaeryong raised her brows.

“Yoongi is here? Why?” She asked.

“According to what I saw, he was walking with the Alpha’s Beta, so I think he was invited into the castle by the Alpha” Donghwa replied but Chaeryong was still curious.

“Okay” She said lowly.

“Is there something else you would like me to do??” Donghwa asked.

“Stay here while I think” Chaeryong said and Donghwa immediately stood on a side.

The guards at the entrance all bowed as Taehyung showed up with Yoongi beside him, Taehyung ignored them and went in, Yoongi also followed.

They entered the large living room and Yoongi looked around.

He’s a man in his early thirties, a hot and sexy figure, he was named the beauty god because as he grows older, he get even more prettier. His long hair which look so dark and thick getting blown by the tiniest breeze, his lips which is naturally pink and would look so sexy to look at.

Looking into his eyes alone is enough to melt any alpha into his bed.

He was the only close friends Jungkook and Taehyung had back then, they were inseparable until Jungkook had to stay more in the castle, that was when his duty as the future Alpha started.

Taehyung was not left out either, he was the Beta prince and he had to learn and study with Jungkook all his life, that’s his job. Yoongi was also left alone to perfect his powers, that was how the friends were separated and they only come together once in a blue moon.

“This looks so new to me now” Yoongi said and Taehyung looked at him.

“Stop exaggerating” Taehyung said and Yoongi chuckled.

He sat down and crossed his sexy legs, Taehyung looked at him and he smiled at him.

“Where’s Jungkook?” Yoongi asked

“Respect Yoongi, not Jungkook” Taehyung said and Yoongi rolled his eyes.

“Am I here as a wizard or as a friend?” He asked with a frown.

“Both” Jungkook came out just as Taehyung was about to talk.

Yoongi smiled at the sight of him.

“It’s so great to see you again” He said.

Alpha Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged glances as Taehyung sat down, Taehyung also sat down on the third couch, all sitting separately.

“What’s the space about?” Yoongi asked.

“Let’s get straight to business” Alpha Jungkook said.

“You won’t even ask me how I’ve been? Nothing…..”

“Yoongi!” Taehyung snapped and Yoongi rolled his eyes.

“Fine, I’m listening” He muttered.

“There’s a problem……”

“I want to hear it directly from the Alpha” Yoongi cut Taehyung off and he released a pissed off growl.

“It’s fine” Alpha Jungkook said and Yoongi scoffed at Taehyung.

Jungkook took his time to explain everything to Yoongi even though it took him a lot of time. He’s not a person of many words, right from when they were young, Taehyung has always being the one to speak for him.

“So you think the city gate is being manipulated using dark powers?” Yoongi asked.

“That’s why we called you here, to know if we are right or not” Taehyung said and Yoongi smiled.

“That’s right, dark powers was used” He said.

“I knew it” Taehyung mumbled.

“What do you think?….”

“Sealing the city gate with dark powers, a stronger one” Yoongi answered.

Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged glances.

“That’s it?” Taehyung asked and Yoongi nodded.

“For now” He said and Jungkook sighed out.

“You don’t have to worry, it’s not time to be worried, everything is under control. I will help in sealing the city gate” Yoongi said and Taehyung smiled.

“You’re amazing” He said and Yoongi scoffed, turning to look at Jungkook again but he only kept a straight face.

“How about we take a walk round the castle? The three of us?” Yoongi asked.

“Go on with Taehyung, I have something else to do” Alpha Jungkook muttered and stood up but before he could move, Yoongi appeared right before him and grabbed his hand.

“Let’s call it a pay back” He winked and Jungkook sighed.

“You’re making him uncomfortable” Taehyung immediately said.

“We were friends before he became the Alpha, it’s just a walk” Yoongi pouted.

“Fine, let’s go” Jungkook said and Yoongi smiled.

The trio walked out of the chamber.

Yoongi in the middle while Jungkook and Taehyung by his sides, few guards following them from behind.

“Wow, I think the castle got even more beautiful” Yoongi said, looking around, slapping Taehyung’s face with his hair.

“Can you at least keep your head straight?” Taehyung asked.

“A pay back” Yoongi scoffed and Taehyung chuckled.

Jungkook was walking in silence, listening to nothing they were saying.

His attention was finally gotten when Yeonghon ran over to them and they had to stop walking.

“What’s wrong?” Taehyung asked.

“An omega tried to bite one of Commander Maryeok twins, and he was brought to the palace” Yeonghon said and Yoongi raised his brows.

“Omega?” Taehyung asked.

“Yes Beta, that’s exactly what I was told” Yeonghon replied.

“Where’s he?” Taehyung asked.

“He has been locked up in the castle cell” Yeonghon answered.

Taehyung glanced at Jungkook.

“Go take a look” Alpha Jungkook ordered and Taehyung looked at Yeonghon.

“Let’s go” He said

Yeonghon immediately led the way and Taehyung followed.

Alpha Jungkook turned to Yoongi.

“You should take a rest, you can do whatever you want to do tomorrow, follow the guards, they will take you to a suite” Alpha Jungkook said.

“But….I want to spend more time with you” Yoongi said.

“I’m not in the mood” Alpha Jungkook said and walked away without sparing him another glance.

Yoongi sighed out but then turned.

‘What’s the weird feeling about?? Who’s in the castle?’ He thought inwardly.

‘An omega tried to bite one of Commander Maryeok twins, and he was brought to the palace’ he remembered Yeonghon’s words but shook his head.

“An omega wouldn’t have such scent” He muttered and faced the guards.

“Lead the way” He said.

They bowed and started walking.

“Why’s Yoongi in the castle?” Namjoon asked curiously as Hugo gave him the news.

“He was invited by the Alpha” Hugo said and Namjoon chuckled.

“Does he lack trust that much?” Namjoon muttered.

“What should I do my prince?” Hugo asked.

“Tell Sanjook to meet me up tonight” Namjoon replied.

“Yes my prince” Hugo bowed and walked away.

Yeonghon led Taehyung to the dungeon gate where Jimin was, Haneul and Chul are both standing at the door glaring at Jimin who was sitting on the cold floor inside, his body covered with blood.

The twins immediately rushed to Taehyung the moment they saw him.

“Beta……”

Taehyung raised his finger up and they immediately kept quiet.

Taehyung looked at Jimin, looking innocent even in his state, he was looking rough and unkept, he couldn’t see his face since he was looking down, his hair falls on the floor also covering his face.

“Is he the one?” Taehyung asked.

“Yes Beta” Yeonghon replied and Jimin finally looked up and his eyes met with Yeonghon’s own.

Yeonghon shifted uncomfortably as he got lost staring into his bright innocent eyes, it’s his first time seeing his face also.

Taehyung turned to Haneul.

“What happened exactly?” Taehyung asked, the young boy sitting down in there doesn’t look like someone who can even hurt an ant.

“I was only trying to do my job” Haneul broke into tears.

“He wasn’t eating, so we asked him why” Chul continued.

“That was all….and the next thing, he shifted, growling at me, he almost bit me if the guards haven’t appeared” Haneul said in tears.

Taehyung turned back to Jimin.

“That….was a lie” Jimin said in a weak voice.

“Are you okay?” Yeonghon asked and immediately he opened the gate, he rushed in and his eyes widened when he saw his body cuts.

“Hey” he muttered.

“They did everything to me” Jimin said in tears and Taehyung faced the twins.

“We were only defending ourselves!! You idiot!!” Haneul yelled.

“Get out” Taehyung said calmly.

“But…..”

“Get out!!!” Taehyung growled at them angrily and they ran off immediately.

“Beta” Yeonghon called and Taehyung turned.

“I think it’s Silver…he’s dying” Yeonghon said, checking Jimin’s temperature, his eyes already closed.

“Call the healer…..Wait…Yoongi is still in the castle. Take him to Yoongi immediately” Taehyung ordered.

Yeonghon immediately carried Jimin in his arms and rushed out of the dungeon.

Jimin opened his eyes slowly and met himself in a strange room, he was even laying on the bed, when did he ever slept on the bed?

He quickly jumped down from the bed but bumped into a body.

He screamed and moved back immediately, making him fall on his butt.

Yoongi stared at him disgustingly.

‘How can it be a weak pup like him?’ He said in his head, still glaring at Jimin.

He started walking closer to him while Jimin trembled in fear, he didn’t even notice that his cuts has been healed up.

“Hey little one” Yoongi squatted in front of him and grabbed his cheek.

Jimin swallowed hard.

“You must have suffered so much” Yoongi muttered and shook his head.

“But you know what? You don’t belong here. You should return to your people” Yoongi said and Jimin nodded.

“Good, get up” Yoongi stood up and Jimin also got up.

“Leave the castle right away…and make sure no one sees you, do you get that?” Yoongi asked.

“Thank you for healing my cut” Jimin bowed and Yoongi smiled.

“It’s nothing, now go” he said.

Jimin didn’t wait, he opened the door and rushed out of the room.

Yoongi rolled his eyes.

‘He can’t find you..never’ He said inwardly.

Alpha Jungkook sat up on his bed, it’s just like the other night, he can’t sleep.

He sighed out and linked up with one of the guards watching his chamber.

*Yes Alpha?!*

*Get Taehyung, right now* Alpha Jungkook ordered and cut the link back.

It’s been a while since they had a run like Taehyung said, maybe tonight is going to be the night.

He went into the dressing room and got on something simple before returning to the bedroom where he met Taehyung already waiting.

“You called for me” Taehyung said.

“I can’t sleep” Jungkook said.

“Do you want anything then?” Taehyung immediately asked.

“Let’s go for a run” Jungkook said and Taehyung smiled.

“That will be great” He said and Jungkook nodded.

Minutes later, they are outside the castle, each on their separate horses, numbers of guards also behind them.

“To the woods” Alpha Jungkook muttered.

“The woods” Taehyung said more loudly so everyone would hear.

Alpha Jungkook took off first, Taehyung followed and the guards followed too.

Alpha Jungkook and Taehyung both got down from their horses.

Jungkook could feel Adolphus waggling it’s tail already, of course he’s always happy about things like this.

“Ready?” Alpha Jungkook asked and Taehyung nodded.

Almost immediately, the two men began to shift, the sounds of their cracking bones could be heard, as everything separated and joined together again, forming their wolves.

Adolphus was the first to shift fully, as it stood heavily on the ground, his grey color shone and he made a loud and deep howl all over the wood.

The guards all bowed immediately.

Mabeop stood beside him too, the two wolves waggled their tails together in excitement as the run was about to start.

After brain counting the tick tock of the time, the two wolves sped off. Their legs sounding heavily on the ground, the birds in the woods trembled and kept flying around for shield.

The guards followed behind them too, they already shifted also, the soil was weeping at the pace and sounds of their foots on the ground, their growls and howls filled the air and the woods seems to be in trouble, other small animals run for their dear lives, they wouldn’t want to wait or they might turn into preys.

Jimin was still running, he seems to have lost his way in the woods as he tried getting the road which leads to the meadow but he couldn’t.

Suddenly some herd of deer started running toward him, before he could run, they bumped into him and he fell on the ground, struggling there as they all fly over him, running for their lives.

“What’s going on?” Jimin muttered but he also heard the loud growl which made his eyes widen.

“Pack of Wolves…or outlaws??” He mumbled in fear and began running too but it was too late, he sighted the first two big wolves aiming toward his direction and he screamed out.

The scream got Adolphus and Mabeop to stop, their bright eyes looked around the wood to see what it was until they landed on Jimin who already fell on the ground unconsciously.

Almost immediately Adolphus’s furs arose, the human’s sweet scent filled his nose even though Jimin was covered with dirt all over him, it smelled sweet in his nose.

*Mate* He growled out loudly.

Taehyung took over Mabeop and shifted back to human.

Jungkook was trying hard to take over his body but Adolphus disagreed.

*He’s our mate!!!* he growled.

His loud growls made everyone bow, including Taehyung.

*Shut up and lay low!* Jungkook yelled at him.

*Get our mate back to the castle! Now!* Adolphus growled back.
