Jungkook's Point of View:
When we boarded the train, I could feel Moon's distress like a tangible weight, but there was nothing I could do about it now—not here, not in Seoul. In Daegu, I planned to take my time with her, to make her understand and believe me. She had to! Just then, she asked to go to the restroom. I was hesitant at first, but Jimin's people were already in the area, so I agreed, standing guard by the door, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.
"Jungkook," she called softly from inside. "Can you be honest with me?" Her voice was tinged with frustration and confusion, making my heart race. What did she want to know now? This wasn't the right time or place for a deep conversation. "Moon, please, let's talk about it after you come out," I said, hoping to soothe her.
"It's because of my father, isn't it?" she pressed on, her voice rising. "You don't really want me. This is just some kind of revenge, right?"
My heart sank. How did she know? But she had it all wrong. Keeping her with me wasn't about revenge. "Moon, I..." I started, taking a deep breath, trying to find the right words to explain. But before I could finish, the door suddenly swung open with force, striking me in the face. Stunned and momentarily blinded, I staggered back, blinking rapidly to clear my vision.
By the time I regained my composure and pushed the door open, Moon was already sprinting down the aisle of the train, disappearing into the crowd of passengers.
"Fuck no!" I yelled, breaking into a run after her, my heart pounding in my chest. How did everything go so wrong so fast? My mind raced with thoughts of what could happen to her, the dangers she might face. She couldn't understand that keeping her with me was the only way to keep her safe.
I shoved my way through the throng of passengers, my eyes locked on Moon's retreating figure as she darted between people, her smaller frame making it easier for her to slip through gaps. Panic surged within me as I watched her slip further away. "Moon, stop!" I shouted, but my voice was drowned out by the noise of the bustling train car.
People turned to stare, their faces a blur as I surged forward, adrenaline fueling my every step. She was fast, and I was losing ground. Regret and disbelief gnawed at me as I realized how badly I had miscalculated. She couldn't know the lengths I was going to protect her, the dangers lurking in the shadows.
I lunged forward, my fingertips brushing the fabric of her coat before she slipped through the door. "Moon, please!" I yelled, my voice tinged with desperation.
But she didn't look back. I saw her make a reckless leap from the moving train. My heart stopped as she hit the ground hard and rolled across the platform. "Moon!" I screamed, my voice raw with fear and frustration. Is she okay? She is already injured on her shoulder from yesterday.
The doors sealed shut in front of me, the train's alarms blaring in the background. My furious face was visible through the glass, eyes locked onto hers. I slammed my fists against the door, anger palpable even through the barrier. My words were muted by the thick glass, but I tried to communicate with her, to make her understand. "Moon, are you fucking okay! You should not jump like this, damn it! What if you broke your leg!"
Fury was etched across my face, and I watched helplessly as the train began to move again. Her posture was weak and in pain. "Moon, stay there! Don't go anywhere!" I shouted, but the train pulled away, and she was soon out of sight.
I cursed myself nonstop for being so careless! It's my damn fault! She must be hurt, her shoulder was already swollen from yesterday, and now this... the way she fell, something could be broken. I slammed my fist against the closed train door, frustration and worry boiling inside me. My other hand gripped my hair tightly in frustration. I should have been more vigilant, more prepared for anything. But now she's gone, and I'm left here, helpless.
Snapping out of my panic, I knew I had to inform Jimin immediately. This was serious. Lunging for my coat pocket, I fumbled for my phone and dialed Jimin's number. The phone rang once, twice, and then he picked up.
"What hap—" Jimin started, but I cut him off, my words rushing out in a mix of urgency and frustration.
"Jimin, Moon escaped! She jumped off the train. I couldn't stop her. She's hurt, Jimin. She's hurt and it's all my fault," I blurted out, my voice cracking with emotion. Panic and guilt consumed me as I relayed the situation to him.
Jimin's voice was calm but firm on the other end. "Where are you now?"
"I'm on the moving train," I replied quickly, my mind racing. "She's gone, Jimin. I don't know where she went. What do I do?"
There was a brief silence on the line before Jimin spoke again, his voice steadier now. "She is still in Seoul, Jungkook. I am taking care of it now. Get off at the next station. I'll send someone to pick you up. We'll find her, Jungkook. Just stay calm."

When I stepped off the train, a cop stood by the door, nodding respectfully as I passed. We hurried toward the parking lot, my impatience mounting as I dialed Jimin's number.
"Anything about—" I started urgently.
"She took the Gangnam train," Jimin interrupted, his voice terse.
"Why Gangnam station? From Gangnam to where?" Jungkook connected the dots quickly. "She mentioned she wanted to go home!"
"Gangnam to Seongdong?" I asked urgently. "Jimin, can we head to Seongdong—"
"She could have taken a taxi. I've already called Gangnam station; they're checking the CCTV," Jimin interjected. "Can't say Kim's blood doesn't run through her veins. What a smart move," He commented sarcastically on the other line.
"I'm heading to her house," I said firmly over the call.
"Are you fucking serious! Jungkook, if your father catches you near her house, we're both doomed! I'm sending someone to check there," Jimin responded urgently.
"You think I'll sit and wait while your people search?" I snapped back.
"Jungkook! It's not the time to show your possessiveness here," Jimin admonished firmly. "I don't care what that old bastard does," I muttered under his breath and abruptly ended the call.
"Drive to Seongdong, street 3," I instructed the cop as they got into the car.

"Did you say you saw someone walking into the building but couldn't find her inside?" I asked, my patience wearing thin.
The cop nodded nervously, glancing at Jungkook before replying, "Yes, sir. We saw a woman who looked like her go into the building, but we couldn't find her inside."
"She went inside and disappeared?" I asked, stepping closer, frustration building. I swung my hand, hitting one of them lightly on the jaw. When I entered her house, it was a mess. It looked like someone had torn through everything, searching intensely. Every room was wrecked, and there was no trace of her. It was as if she had never been there. Even the camera I had set up to watch her was missing, like someone had taken it away.
"She must have been here," I said to myself, my voice filled with disbelief and anger.
The cop exchanged a worried glance with his partner, "We'll search the area again, sir," he assured me, trying to calm me down.
I clenched my fists, trying to control my frustration. "Find her," I urged urgently. "She can't be far."
But one question lingered: What if the Kims got her?
