A deep voice sounded behind me and I turned around.

"Need help finding your classes Newbie?" The male was tall and black haired. He had a lip ring which made me back up a bit. Lip ring? I am guessing he is the school's Bad Boy. I raise an eyebrow at him.

"I have a name you know, Mr. Bad Boy." I retorted, receiving a smirk.

"And what might that name be?" He strode over to me.

"Chloe, ass-hole." I growled. "And yours?"

"I prefer Mr. Bad Boy." I roll my eyes and he chuckled, hold out his hand. "Zak." I hesitantly shook his hand.

"If you will excuse me, I need to get to class." He snatched my schedule and looked at it as I tried to grab it. "Give it!" I whine and he eventually does.

"So you have Math first? So do I. Let's go." He dragged me down the hall despite my protests.

"Let me go!" I protest and he does when we reach the classroom. "Is this it?" I raise an eyebrow. He nods and I walk in. He leads me to his seat and made me sit next to him. We chatted about random crap until the bell rang. The teacher came in and called attendance.

"Miss Chloe?" He called out. I raised my hand.

"Here!" I call back.

"Excellent! You are here. Well, class. We are doing a project with partners today. It is due in 4 weeks. I on explaining area.(I am only in algebra 1 so don't judge me for not knowing any geometry)" He continued explaining the assignment. "Now you may choose your partners."

Zak looked at me and smirked. "You are my partner, Shorty."

"Whatever." I sigh and he chuckled. "I wont do all the work though." He grinned. He has dimples when he smiles which are kinda cute. He had dark blue eyes which seem deep and like it they are hiding something.

"Your staring, Shorty." He snort and I felt my cheeks heat up a bit.

"No I am not." I retort, trying to hide my blush as I look away.

"Your a horrible liar, Chloe." I hear him snort.

"I know..." I sigh.

"Good. Now lets get to work." He smiled at me, which I return, as we start to work on the project.
