The next day, jungkook woke up earlier than usual. Maybe because he couldn't really sleep. His dream was full of his wife's betrayal.. he sat up on his bed.. it's been months he's living in a separate room.He really feels like it's been too much now.. He needs to talk to someone before he blasts it out and everything becomes messy..

His eyes were burning because of the lack of sleep.. he got dark circles under his eyes.. he reluctantly got off the bed and went to take a shower.. a warm shower would help probably.. after that, he went to the kitchen where the maids were already preparing for breakfast.. he asked for a cup of coffee and one of them made it for him..

He wasn't going to stay for breakfast. He can't act in front of his mom like that.. so he went to his office. He was wearing a light grey suit.. a muffler around his neck to prevent the cold.. he was early for the office as well.. he ordered a take out for breakfast.. he wasn't going to starve. He was already tired because of the lack of sleep..

The day went just like that,him robotically handling his work.. almost after the whole day, he was still in his office when he heard a knock on the door.. "come in" he said without looking up.. and a man in black pants and white shirt with a black blazer and a black tie walked in..

"Good evening, Mr. Jeon" a deep voice greeted jungkook and a smile formed on his face almost immediately.. he looked up when the man removed his mask.

"Mr. Jeon? Huh? Okay.. so.. good evening, Mr kim." Jungkook said and Taehyung chuckled as he sat on the chair in front of the desk..

"It's still office hour.. so i thought i should greet you professionally, Jerk" Kim Taehyung said .. jungkook rolled his eyes, feigning annoyance..

"There goes all the professionalism, twinkle toes..." Taehyung laughed at his nickname..

"Finally a glimpse of my dear best friend .. i thought i wouldn't see this side ever.. " Taehyung said half seriously, half joking..

Kim Taehyung, his best friend.. and his legal adviser in his company.. they have known each other since college days..and from that time, Taehyung stuck with him forever.. not like he was complaining about it. Taehyung is all in one. His best friend, partner in crime, therapist, his legal adviser, buddy in game.. everything.. and he has been avoiding Taehyung because this guy knows him way too well..

He knows that he'll eventually talk to Taehyung about what's going on in his life.. Taehyung would probably be the first one.. before his parents.. but he wasn't feeling ready.. Taehyung noticed it and was waiting for an opportunity to talk to him. And here he was today. He needs to talk because he's worried about his buddy.. brother from another mother...

"What do you mean?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow..even though he knew what Taehyung meant by his words..

"I mean, from a few months you have become different.. silent.."

"It's not like that, tae.. i was never the hyper type.. you know" jungkook tried to rationalize his behaviour

"Oh cut it, jeon.. you know what i mean.. what's going on in that round head of yours?" Taehyung asked .. jungkook rolled his eyes on that round head comment.. 

Jungkook sighed.. knowing he has no escape from his best friend now. He looked down and let out a sigh.. Taehyung straightened up his back. Sitting perfectly, giving all his focus on his buddy.. and jungkook Started speaking.

"Simin cheated on me" the words stopped the whole world.. Taehyung's eyes got widened and his mouth left open in shock. No. This isn't what he was expecting.

"What??" Taehyung felt speechless. And jungkook felt like he was going through the same pain again as he nodded and continued how he saw it with his own eyes. In his house. On his bed. That thought made him feel more disgusted.

"Why are you still with her then?" Taehyung asked. He knows how jungkook despised the disloyal ones. Jungkook took a deep breath as he started explaining it to Taehyung..

"We had a contract marriage, Taehyung. And it must remain till 3 years.. two and half years are gone already. I can't break the contract. Just six months more. I've already made her sign the divorce paper. After six months, the divorce will be finalised and I'll be free from her and her betrayal" jungkook sounded weary.

"Damn man. I wasn't expecting this. I thought you two are doing good "

The marriage seemed perfect to everyone's eyes. Even jungkook thought that this will probably last longer than just a mere contract.. but the reality hit hard. Jungkook wanted nothing but to kick her out of his life. But he's bound to the contract. So he has to wait for their third marriage anniversary.. jungkook leaned back into his chair and sighed.

Somewhere he felt lighter talking to Taehyung about this. He felt relieved that he has someone who'll listen to him.and will understand what he was going through..

Taehyung got up from his chair and walked around him. Standing in front of Jungkook's chair, he pulled the sitting boy from his chair and hugged him. There.. this is what he needed now.. and Taehyung just knows how to help him silently..

Jungkook sighed again and leaned into his embrace.. Taehyung patted his back, caressing it to comfort him.. only one person is missing here.. his another best friend.. Taehyung broke the hug and then again hugged him
"This one is from mini" Taehyung said.. making him chuckle.. of course, it was like a ritual in them. If one of them were upset then the other two will hug him. But if someone is missing then the upset one will get two hugs from the same person..

Jungkook was missing jimin.. jimin was in Busan that time so he got the second one from Taehyung as well.. after hugging and feeling quite better, they let go of each other..

"You know what? Let's grab dinner together. You deserve it after listening to my vent" jungkook said

"Who says no to food? Not me..and you know that I'll always listen to you, right?" Taehyung said, his voice filled with affection and sadness for what his best friend was going through..

"I know.. " jungkook said quietly.. and they both headed out of the office and drove to a restaurant to have dinner together..

Only if he knew that something was waiting for him there..
