Hello!

Sanyukta's pov.

" Wish me luck girls, this one is really important for me. " I stood up biting my lip.

"You'll get it, don't worry. Just don't lose confidence." Addu said and I gave her a nod.

"Stop biting your lip and stand confidently, the first thing that they'll see is your confidence Sanyu, be confident. " Siya said and I took a deep breath before making a straight face and standing confidently.

"Excellent, now just don't lose this aura and go for it, this internship is yours. " Siya said and Addu rubbed my shoulders.

"This internship means your freedom and you'll have to achieve it. Don't let this slip your mind that if you get this internship, you'll be allowed by your parents to do a job and you will not have to return back." Addu encouraged and I gave her a nod.

"Go for it Tigress." Siya said smirking and I gave her a nod before heading towards the room where the interview was going on. I need to crack this if I want to do a job ever, or else Mom will call me back and my dreams will shatter.

After taking a deep breath, I knocked on the door and entered after they allowed.

"What happened? "

"What did they say? "

"How did it went? "

"Are you selected? "

"Don't tell me you lost your confidence or something. "

"C'mon Sanyukta speak. "

"Will you let me speak? " I finally asked getting irritated. Here I was already very nervous and they started bombarding me with questions as soon as I entered the hostel room.

"Okay, we won't say anything, now tell us. " Siya said sitting on the bed and Addu too sat down.

"Okay, so I went there and I don't know how this happened but I felt confident. " I told them and they sighed in relief.

"They asked me to sit and I sat down, then they asked certain questions and I answered all of them with confidence. They looked quite impressed but they didn't tell the result yet. The candidates will get a message. " I told them and they got up.

"That's amazing Sanyu, really. You've made us really proud." Siya said hugging me.

"Really, you did an excellent job. We are so proud of you. " Addu too joined the hug.

"Thank you, thank you for everything. " I can't thank them enough, they've been my strength throughout and whatever I've done today, is because of them.

"Where did this thank you came from? This is highly unacceptable Sanyukta Agrawal. " Siya said faking anger.

"Oops. " I bit my tongue and they chuckled.

"Now let's hope for the best. " Addu said and I gave her a nod.

"There's a really nice movie that has released this week, let's check it out. What say? " Addu asked.

"Sure. " Siya agreed.

"You two go, I'm having a little headache, I'll stay and take rest. " I told them and they looked at each other.

"We can go some other day. " Siya suggested.

"No guys please, you two go, I'll be fine, please please please. " I used my trump card aka puppy face and they had to give up.

"Fine, take care. " They said before starting to get ready.

I went up to my bed and lied down. Past few days have been really strange, the blood donation camp, incident at the hospital, then those golden eyes and yesterday what happened at the mall, it's all so strange.

"We are leaving Sanyukta, take rest. " I heard Addu saying and waved at them from my bed.

The door closed and I lied down again. What is happening? All this is so strange and especially the voice I heard in the mall, there was no one around but I still heard that, also those golden eyes, the shine in them, so strange.

And then the guy at the book store, why did that stranger felt familiar? Why I couldn't control my emotions in front of him? Why did I behaved that way?

All these questions were clouding my brain and I needed fresh air, so I decided to go for a walk in the premises.

After fixing my hair, I came out of the room and locked it after me.

I started walking in the garden area, listening to the music and got so engrossed in it that I didn't keep a track of the time.

After some time, I felt someone's presence behind me but on turning around, I found nobody.

Thinking that I must be hallucinating, I continued walking but then again I felt as if I was being followed.

Turning around, I again found nobody but as soon as I looked in front, someone covered my mouth with his hands.

My eyes widened looking at the guy and before I could do something, he held my hands tightly.

"Shh, cooperate and it's won't be much painful. " He said wickedly and I felt tears forming in my eyes.

I wriggled but it was of no use, he pushed me a bit and I fell on the ground with he on top of me.

I tried to shout but his grip on my mouth was really tight.

"You chose the hard way." He said through his teeth and before I bite his hand, he left my mouth crying in pain.

"Aah." He cried and got up causing me to frown.

"Aah, it's burning. " He cried. His hand was turning black, as if it was getting burned.

"Aah, help it's burning." He cried, blowing air in his hand.

Suddenly his whole body started getting black and his cries increased.

"My whole body is burning. " He cried and ran away.

I tried to calm my breathing, looking at his retreating figure. What just happened?

I got up gathering all the strength in me and ran to my room.

Fortunately no one was inside yet, locking the room behind me, I sat on the floor.

What just happened! I was about to get raped! Tears started flowing from my eyes as the memory flashed in front of my eyes.

What would have happened if his hand wouldn't have started burning! Oh God, thank you so very much for saving me, thanks a lot but how did that happen? How come all of a sudden his whole body started burning?

Whatever it is, I don't really care, what I care about is I got saved. Thank you so much God, thank you.

Now I'll have to look fine, I can't let Addu or Siya know what happened, they'll be worried. I can't trouble them anymore, I'll have to act normal.

Taking deep breaths and wiping the tears off my face, I went to the bed and lied down.

As soon as I closed my eyes the incident flashed again causing me to sit up immediately.

"Calm down, you're safe. " I heard a voice in my head and suddenly I felt really sleepy.

It felt like someone was caressing my hair, sleepily, I lied down and closed my eyes and in no time, sleep took over me.
