||Family time||
Sunday arrived faster than Sheza had anticipated, and she was buzzing with excitement. For days, she had meticulously crafted a long list of things to do, her mind whirling with ideas and plans. But more than the tasks themselves, it was the thought of spending the day with her family that made her heart race. Sheza had been eagerly counting down the days, and now that it was finally Sunday—the day she had claimed all for herself—she could barely contain her joy.
Her mind raced with thoughts of the decorations, the groceries, and the small Ramadan preparations she had carefully mapped out, but more than anything, it was the warmth of family togetherness that excited her the most. She squealed internally, her joy bubbling just beneath the surface, knowing that the day ahead was going to be filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.
5:00 AM
"Wake up, wake up!! My handsome Habibi~" Sheza chirped loudly into Saad's ear, shattering the peaceful silence of the room. Saad's eyes flew open, alarmed, as he bolted upright with a jolt, his hand instinctively clutching his rapidly beating heart. His brows furrowed as he stared at her, confused and slightly disoriented, his deep hoarse voice thick with sleep as he asked, "What happened? Why are you shouting? Did you hurt yourself? If yes, then show me quickly."
Sheza blinked at him, momentarily taken aback by his serious tone. Her wide, innocent eyes locked with his concerned green orbs, and she suddenly burst into a fit of giggles. "No, silly! I didn't hurt myself." She placed her hand on his chest, feeling the rapid thump of his heart beneath her palm. "I just wanted to wake you up! It's Sunday, remember? Our special day! We have so much to do!"
Saad let out a long sigh, his hand still resting on his chest as he tried to calm his racing heart. His lips twitched into a half-smile, relief washing over him as he gently flicked her forehead with his fingers. "You scared me to death, Sheza," he grumbled, his voice softer now. "I thought something serious happened."
Sheza pouted, her cheeks puffing slightly. "But it is serious! We need to get started on our plans!"
Saad chuckled under his breath, shaking his head as he pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Why so cute?" he muttered, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "Fine, Habibti, let's get started on this Sunday adventure of yours."
Sheza's wide grin and tiny claps, combined with her playful declaration of "Avengers Assemble!" sent Saad into a fit of laughter, his deep, resonant chuckles filling the room with warmth. He watched as Sheza giggled, her face brightening even more as she posed with a V sign and scrunched her nose cutely. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and Saad couldn't resist her infectious energy.
With a joyful coo, Saad pulled her back onto the bed and gently threw her onto the mattress. He looked at her with a mix of adoration and amusement, his eyes twinkling with affection. "Oh my god!! Why are you sooooo cute, my cute, cute small Begum?" he whined, his voice dripping with tenderness.
Unable to hold back his feelings, Saad showered her face with hurried and fast kisses, his lips moving over her cheeks, forehead, and chin with a desperate urgency. Sheza giggled uncontrollably at the ticklish sensation, her small fists gripping his broad shoulders as she reveled in his affection.
"You are going to be the death of me," Sheza managed to say between giggles, leaning closer to press some messy kisses along his jawline. Saad's face softened into a goofy, love-struck smile. He exhaled deeply, his eyes never leaving hers as they glistened with pure, unfiltered love.
"I just want to keep you in my pocket," Saad murmured, his deep voice soothing and filled with a tender desperation. "So small and so precious." His gaze was so full of love that Sheza couldn't help but blush under the intensity of it.
Faking an annoyed pout, Sheza playfully scowled at him. "Yah! What do you mean by keeping me in your pocket? So small, huh? I'm not that tiny, you're just overgrown!" Her bratty tone was softened by the way she scrunched her nose adorably.
Saad laughed heartily, his affection for her palpable in his every move. "Aww, my little baby, so adorable," he cooed, pinching her nose gently. His heart swelled with every playful exchange
Saad's laughter died down as he gazed at Sheza, his heart still racing from their playful interaction. He couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of affection for her. He leaned in closer, his warm breath tickling her skin as he planted soft, lingering kisses along her neck. Sheza shivered from the gentle touch, her giggles turning into contented sighs.
"You really are the sweetest thing," Saad murmured, his voice a deep, soothing rumble. His hands cupped her face gently, his thumbs brushing against her flushed cheeks. "I can't get enough of you."
Sheza's eyes sparkled with happiness as she looked up at him. "Stop it, you're making me blush!" she teased, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink.
Saad chuckled softly, his gaze never leaving hers. He brushed a strand of hair away from her face and leaned in to kiss her forehead tenderly. "I just can't help it. You're my everything," he said, his voice full of sincerity. Saad pulled back slightly and looked at her with a loving smile. "Alright, my little princess, Let's get ready for the further?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with curiosity.
"Yes!"
Saad stepped out of the shower, a soft white towel wrapped snugly around his waist, another towel in hand as he lazily dried his hair. His brows knitted together when he noticed a black hoodie and baggy pants neatly laid out on the bed. He tilted his head slightly, trying to understand the connection between the clothes and what Sheza could possibly be up to. The confusion didn't last long, though, because just then, the door of the closet creaked open.
He was caught off guard, his heart skipping a beat. Standing there, wearing the same black hoodie and pants, was his adorable wife, Sheza. Her wide, innocent Bambi eyes met his, and despite her slight shyness, she walked toward him with a playful yet bashful grace.
"Umm... how am I looking?" she asked softly, a hint of uncertainty lacing her voice, though her smile was hopeful.
Saad couldn't help but smile, a lovesick expression taking over his face. He bent down to her level, pressing a soft, lingering kiss on her forehead. "Ethereal," he whispered, his deep voice full of sincerity.
Sheza giggled like a little girl, her happiness bubbling up as she quickly pecked his cheek in return. "Aww, thank you, my handsome habibi!" she chimed, her voice musical and filled with joy.
Standing upright again, Saad glanced back at the matching outfit still lying on the bed, then back at her. He raised an eyebrow and teased, "Care to explain the logic behind dressing me up like this? I don't see how this matches our usual... mafia standards."
Sheza puffed her chest out proudly, looking like she had thought long and hard about it. "Of course! Today, we're going to match outfits! And not just you and me, but I've already told Abbu and Ammi too!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she explained, "Just imagine how cute we'll all look—wearing the same outfit! A whole family in matching clothes, like one big happy team!"
Saad raised an amused eyebrow, his lips twitching into a smirk. "Cute?" he asked incredulously, "You're turning a family of mafia bosses and the number one business company holder into—what, Pookies?" His tone was laced with humor as he tried to picture it.
Sheza nodded enthusiastically, her eyes wide with excitement. "Yes! Exactly! You'll all be my adorable Pookies for today! You know, like a cute, matching mafia family!" she said with a silly, dreamy grin plastered on her face, clearly in her own world of adorableness.
Saad couldn't help but chuckle at her logic, shaking his head in disbelief but also affection. "You're really trying to turn us all into something cute, huh?" he said, eyes crinkling with amusement.
Sheza pouted slightly, crossing her arms as if offended. "Well, you *are* cute," she defended with a determined little frown, "All of you. And today, I want everyone to look cute together. It's going to be fun, Saad! Imagine the photos we can take!"
Saad sighed softly, completely taken in by her enthusiasm. He leaned in closer, his voice dropping low, teasing her gently. "Alright, fine. If it makes you this happy, then I guess I can be your cute Pookie for a day." He winked, surrendering to her whims.
Her eyes lit up like fireworks as she squealed in delight, quickly jumping to hug him tightly. "Thank you! Thank you!" she chirped, bouncing slightly in his arms. "You won't regret it! We'll be the cutest mafia family ever!"
Laughing at her sheer excitement, Saad relaxed into her hug before pulling back and ruffling her hair. "Alright, little one, let's see what you've got planned."
Sheza wasted no time. With a beaming smile, she grabbed the hoodie and pants, eagerly helping him get dressed. She took charge of everything, carefully unfolding the clothes and pulling them onto him, humming happily all the while.
"Arms up!" she ordered cheerfully, like a mother dressing her child, lifting the hoodie over his head and adjusting it perfectly on his broad shoulders. She fussed over the smallest details—tugging at the sleeves, straightening the fabric, making sure he looked just right. Her face was glowing with happiness as she worked.
Saad just stood there, amused by her dedication. He couldn't help but feel touched by how happy she was just doing this simple thing for him. "You really enjoy playing dress-up with me, huh?" he teased softly, watching her with adoring eyes.
Sheza nodded, her smile never faltering. "Of course! Dressing up my handsome husband is one of my favorite things to do," she said sweetly, her eyes sparkling with affection. "And now you look perfect!"
Saad chuckled again, feeling the warmth of her love wrap around him like a comforting blanket. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her into his chest. "Perfect, huh?" he murmured in her ear, kissing the top of her head gently.
Sheza giggled and tilted her head to look up at him. "Absolutely perfect, my cute Pookie," she teased back, winking playfully.
He shook his head, smiling softly. "You're something else, you know that?"
"I know," she replied cheekily, turning around in his embrace to face him. She leaned in for one more kiss, pressing her lips softly against his as they stood there, wrapped in their matching outfits and in each other's love.
For today, at least, Saad was happy to be her cute mafia Pookie.
Sheza peeked into the room, her little head barely visible from behind the door as she watched her parents, the Khan couple, busy with their work. Maira was seated at her desk, typing away, while Junaid stood by the window, staring out with a serious expression. Sheza's big eyes sparkled as she saw them looking so focused, but she had other plans.
Clearing her throat loudly, Sheza stepped inside with a playful grin on her face. "Ahem!" she announced, catching their attention. Both Maira and Junaid turned toward her, and as soon as they saw their daughter, their hard expressions melted into soft smiles. Sheza's presence always brought warmth to their otherwise tough, mafia life.
"What are you up to, kitten?" Maira asked with a knowing smile, her eyes filled with affection.
Sheza beamed and clasped her hands together. "I want you both to wear something special today," she said sweetly, her voice filled with excitement. "I picked it out for you!"
Junaid raised an eyebrow, his usual cold expression softening. "And what exactly did you choose for us, hmm?" he asked, crossing his arms but smiling down at her.
Without missing a beat, Sheza bounced over to Maira and tugged on her hand. "Come, Ammi! Let's pick out your outfit!" Maira chuckled, unable to resist her daughter's cuteness. She let Sheza drag her over to the closet.
Sheza rummaged through the clothes with determination before pulling out a deep black hoodie around with baggy pants. "This! You'll look so fetching in this, Ammi!" she said proudly, holding it up for Maira to see.
Maira laughed softly, shaking her head but taking the hoodie. "A hoodie? For me?" she teased, but Sheza's wide-eyed look of excitement was impossible to say no to.
"Pleaseeee," Sheza pouted, and Maira couldn't help but give in.
"Alright, alright," Maira said, smiling as she watched her daughter pick out another hoodie for Junaid. She handed it to him with a grin, and Junaid, towering over her like a protective pillar, took it without a second thought. His proud smile spoke volumes about how much he adored his daughter.
"You want us to match, don't you?" Junaid asked, his deep voice laced with affection. Sheza nodded eagerly.
"Exactly! You'll both look perfect!" she declared before skipping out of the room, leaving them to change.
Later, Junaid and Maira stood in front of the mirror, both dressed in the hoodies Sheza had chosen. It wasn't their usual style. They were used to wearing sharp, elegant clothing, the kind that screamed power and dominance. But now, looking at themselves in the mirror, they couldn't help but smile.
Maira turned to Junaid, her fingers lightly tracing the soft fabric of his hoodie. "We look ridiculous," she said with a small laugh.
Junaid chuckled, pulling her close by the waist. "Maybe, but for her, we'd do anything," he whispered, his voice low and filled with emotion.
Maira nodded, resting her head against his chest. "She really has us wrapped around her little finger, doesn't she?"
Junaid's grip tightened slightly as he leaned down to press a kiss against her temple. "And I wouldn't have it any other way," he murmured, his lips brushing her skin. His dark eyes held a depth of love and possessiveness, the kind that made Maira's heart race.
"There's nothing I wouldn't give for you," Junaid added in a deep, velvety tone. "And nothing I wouldn't destroy to keep you and her safe."
Maira smiled, her heart warming at his words. She tilted her head up, catching his gaze. "I know," she whispered back, her voice soft but filled with the same intensity. They stood there, smiling like fools, knowing that no matter how tough their world was, they had each other—and their little Sheza—to make it all worthwhile.
After Breakfast
After breakfast, Sheza was bouncing on her toes, excitement bubbling within her as she watched Saad talking to the guards and Maira over a call. Junaid stood beside her, leaning against the doorframe with his arms folded across his chest. He chuckled at the sight of the little bouncing girl, her anticipation so contagious it was hard not to smile.
"Easy there, little one. They're just making sure everything's safe for you," Junaid said, his deep voice filled with warmth as he playfully patted her small shoulder. Sheza pouted cutely, bobbing her head in understanding, though her eagerness was clear in her bright eyes.
Junaid couldn't help but smile, his large hand gently patting her head in adoration. Sheza's pout quickly faded, replaced with an excited grin when her eyes lit up at the sight of Saad coming toward them, a smile tugging on his handsome face. To her, he looked just like her Pookie—charming and warm.
Maira ended her call and joined them, announcing, "Okay, we're ready to go, kitten," with a smile as she approached the father-daughter duo. Saad, right beside her, wrapped his arm around Sheza's tiny waist, lifting her slightly, making her squeal with flushed cheeks.
Junaid and Maira smirked, amused by the young couple's antics, and began walking forward, leaving the newlyweds to follow closely behind. Saad, ever the romantic, pulled Sheza closer, bending down to her height as they walked, his breath brushing her ear.
"You're looking absolutely irresistible today," he whispered in a deep, playful voice, his eyes twinkling with affection. "This black hijab suits you so well. I think I should buy you a few more."
Sheza's cheeks flushed deeper, her heart racing as she giggled softly, unable to hide her happiness. Being with him like this, teased and adored, made her feel special in a way only Saad could make her feel.
As they moved toward the car, Junaid and Saad led the way with their powerful strides, their presence unmistakable. The guards along the pathway straightened even more, their fear palpable. Junaid's sharp eyes scanned everything, missing no detail, his bulky arms crossed in front of him like a protective wall. Saad walked beside him, his posture relaxed but commanding, exuding an air of quiet danger that made the guards sweat in their uniforms.
No one dared speak or make unnecessary movements. The guards knew better than to draw attention to themselves when such powerful men were around. The Khan family was not just known for their wealth but for their deep roots in the underworld. And anyone who crossed them faced consequences they didn't want to imagine.
Yet, amidst this intense atmosphere, there was Sheza—walking between these powerful figures, her delicate features a contrast to the danger around her. Sheza, with her wide, sparkling eyes and soft smile, seemed blissfully unaware of the fear her family commanded. She bounced on her toes, her excitement for the day evident, her innocent beauty a calming contrast to the heavy tension that surrounded them.
Sheza's small hand gently gripped Saad's sleeve, pulling him down for a moment to whisper something, her voice soft. He chuckled, bending closer to her, his protective arm wrapped around her waist. Saad, the man who could make even the most hardened criminals tremble, was all softness for his Begum, his eyes filled with warmth.
The guards exchanged nervous glances, knowing they were witnessing something unique. Despite their fear of the family, they couldn't help but be captivated by the innocence of the young girl who walked so comfortably with the most dangerous men by her side.
Maira glanced at Sheza with a soft smile, then at her husband, who remained as silent and watchful as ever, his eyes never leaving the perimeter. She too had the power to strike fear into anyone, but right now, her focus was on her daughter-in-law, watching with a maternal gaze.
As they finally reached the sleek black luminous, Saad moved swiftly to open the door for Sheza, but she suddenly halted in her tracks. Her movement was so sudden that even the guards tensed up, holding their breath, their eyes immediately lowering in apprehension as they wondered what had caused her to stop.
Junaid, always observant, tilted his head slightly, his sharp eyes softening as he asked in his deep, gentle voice, "What happened, daughter?"
Sheza turned toward him, her wide, innocent Bambi eyes reflecting a mixture of realization and slight guilt. Her small hands fidgeted nervously as she looked up at her towering father-in-law. "I forgot to say the dua for the journey," she said softly, her voice carrying a hint of urgency. "We have certain duas, so we should recite one before we start our journey, right?"
A smile tugged at the corners of the usually stoic mafia members' faces, softening their hard expressions. Saad let out a quiet chuckle, his hand resting on her lower back as he gave her a gentle nudge of reassurance. "Of course, kitten," he murmured, his voice affectionate.
Junaid nodded approvingly, his stern features warming as he looked at Sheza with admiration. Even Maira, who often held a strict demeanour, couldn't help but smile fondly at her daughter-in-law's innocence.
"Go ahead, Sheza," Maira encouraged gently. Sheza, still standing outside the car, began to recite the dua for the journey in a soft, sweet voice.
"Subhanal-ladzi sakh-khara lana hadza wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin. Wa inna ila Rabbina lamun-qalibun,"
[In the name of Allah and all praise is for Allah. How perfect He is, the One Who has placed this (transport) at our service and we ourselves would not have been capable of that, and to our Lord is our final destiny]
As Sheza finished reciting the dua, her voice soft and full of sincerity, the entire group stood in respectful silence. Junaid, Maira, and Saad—all dangerous in their own right—felt a calmness wash over them by hearing those hepaevenly words, its not just Sheza's voice it was something tingling in their heart that stirred the calmness in them by hearing the dua.
When Sheza's bright smile returned, Saad smiled and pressed a soft kiss to her temple. "Thank you for reminding us. Now, let's go," he whispered warmly. With that, he opened the door for her, helping her into the sleek black luminous, and climbed in right behind her. Junaid and Maira took their seats in front, still smiling softly at the scene that had just unfolded.
As they settled in, Sheza adjusted her hijab out of habit, tucking the loose fabric behind her ear in the most endearing way. Saad watched her with nothing but love in his eyes. Unable to resist the moment, he secretly pulled out his phone and clicked a photo of her. But the loud click from his phone gave him away, and Sheza's head shot up, her eyes wide with excitement.
"Are you taking my picture? Should I pose better, or is it okay?" she asked, her eyes glittering with interest. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and even Junaid couldn't help but chuckle from the front seat. "You're beautiful in every pose, little one," he said, his deep voice filled with affection.
Sheza's face turned red with giddiness at the compliment, and she ducked her head down shyly. Saad took advantage of the moment, quickly snapping another photo. Sheza looked at him, wide-eyed like a deer caught in headlights. He laughed, his heart swelling at how effortlessly adorable she was.
Sheza, pouting playfully, whined, "I want a family photo!" Determined, she grabbed Saad's phone, standing up slightly in her seat to take a picture of him, her lips forming a pout as she focused the camera. She clicked the picture and smiled triumphantly. "Got you!" she said, showing him the picture.
Sheza tried to angle the phone to capture everyone in the car, but her small hands struggled to hold it just right. Her arms just weren't long enough, and the frustration started to show on her face. With a sulky pout, she handed the phone back to Saad, her lower lip sticking out in defeat.
"These overgrown people!" she muttered, crossing her arms.
Saad, never missing a beat, gave an overly dramatic gasp, "Overgrown? Excuse me, princess, these 'overgrown people' are here to protect your kingdom!" He placed a hand on his chest, feigning deep offense. "Without us, who's going to shield your royal selfies?"
Junaid, playing along, chimed in with a low, serious tone. "Overgrown? You wound me, little one. We're not just overgrown, we're *giants*—giants sworn to protect your tiny majesty from all evil, even the evil of bad angles." He winked at her, and Maira laughed softly, adding in her own flair.
"Oh, sweetheart, with arms this small, the world is lucky you aren't ruling them just yet," Maira said playfully, reaching over to tweak Sheza's cheek. "But don't worry, once you conquer the art of selfies, we'll bow to your every angle!"
Sheza's pout slowly faded, replaced by a reluctant smile as she tried to hold back her giggles. "Hmph, fine," she said, pretending to stay annoyed but clearly enjoying the attention. Saad leaned in, pulling her into a side hug.
"Cheer up, princess. You'll get your perfect family photo, just let your overgrown knights handle it."
Sheza finally laughed, her mood lifted as her 'overgrown' family teased her with love. Junaid and Maira, watching from the front, couldn't hold back their smiles. "Aww, look at her," Maira cooed, turning to gently pinch Sheza's chubby cheeks. Junaid followed suit, teasingly squeezing her cheeks until they turned red. "Such a small cute baby,"
Sheza whined loudly, like a toddler, burying her now rosy cheeks into the oversized sleeves of her hoodie. "Stop it!" she cried, her voice muffled by the fabric, though it was clear she wasn't truly upset.
Saad chuckled, wrapping an arm around her. "You're too cute for your own good," he said, and before Sheza could respond, he snapped one more quick picture—this time, capturing her pouting adorably with her hoodie sleeves covering half her face. She sighed dramatically, but the smile playing on her lips gave her away.
As Sheza buried her red cheeks into her hoodie, Maira couldn't stop smiling. She turned around in her seat, reaching over to gently tug at one of Sheza's sleeves. "Aww, don't hide those cute cheeks, sweetheart! We need to see them!" Maira teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
Sheza groaned from inside her hoodie, her voice muffled. "Ammi, stop! You're embarrassing meee!" she whined, but her tone was far from serious.
Junaid, ever the playful father, joined in. "Who said you could hide those cheeks, hmm?" he teased, leaning over from his seat to give her a light poke on the side, making her giggle. "You know we can't resist pinching them."
Sheza sat up quickly, glaring at her father in mock offense, her cheeks puffed out. "Abbu, you're as meanie as Ammi!" she huffed, crossing her arms. "First, you all embarrass me, then you take bad photos of me—Saad didn't even let me pose properly!"
Saad chuckled beside her, shaking his head. "Your poses are already perfect, begum. You don't need to try," he said softly, squeezing her hand. "But if you want, I can take more photos. Maybe we can do a whole photo shoot?"
Sheza's face lit up at the suggestion, immediately forgetting her sulking. "Really?! Oh! I could wear my pink hijab next time—or maybe that sparkly one I got last week! And we could go to that garden, the one with all the flowers! And I'll need to choose the right shoes—"
Sheza's words tumbled out in a fast stream, her excitement bubbling over, until Junaid interrupted with a laugh. "Whoa, slow down, chatterbox! You're already planning the whole thing!"
Maira shook her head, amused. "Sheza, darling, you don't need to plan everything in one go. We have plenty of time, so you can click as many as you want, okay?"
Sheza pouted playfully at her mother's teasing. "But Ammi, it has to be perfect," she insisted. "We need a family photo, with everyone looking their best! And remember no one pinching my cheeks!"She scowled cutely at the end of the sentence and warned them with her cute glares.
Junaid grinned and leaned back in his seat. "Deal. No more cheek pinching... for now." His tone was light, but the twinkle in his eyes promised that the teasing wasn't over yet. Saad, enjoying the moment, handed her the phone again. "Alright, princess, why don't you try again, take a family photo? You said you wanted one." he teased knowing she wont be able to do it.
Sheza grabbed the phone eagerly but, once again, her small hands struggled to fit everyone into the frame. She tried to stretch her arm out as far as it could go, pouting as she adjusted the angle. "Ugh! Why can't I get all of us in one picture?" she mumbled, her frustration growing.
Saad laughed and gently took the phone from her. "Let me help. You just sit here and look pretty, okay?"
Sheza crossed her arms, sulking playfully. "Fine," she huffed, her pout deepening. Then, with a sudden burst of determination, she flared her nose cutely and added, "There will be a time when I will definitely take a family photo myself, hmph!"
Junaid chuckled at her adorable display. "Oh? Is that a challenge, little one?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Sheza nodded firmly, her Bambi eyes sparkling with conviction. "Yes, Abbu! Just you wait!"Maira leaned in with a teasing smile. "Well, we'll be waiting for that masterpiece of a photo then, won't we?" She winked at her daughter, who only puffed her cheeks in response.
Saad, watching the whole exchange with amusement, gently nudged Sheza. "I believe you, My Begum. You'll get your perfect shot soon." Sheza's pout softened into a proud smile, her earlier frustration forgotten. "You'll see!" she declared. "It's going to be amazing!"
Maira chuckled softly, watching her daughter with love in her eyes. Then, leaning over to Saad, she whispered, "Just make sure she doesn't drop the phone!" The whole car burst into laughter at that, and even Sheza, despite her attempts to stay serious, couldn't help but giggle along with them.
"Ammi!" Sheza whined, puffing her cheeks playfully. "I'm not that clumsy!" Saad grinned, pulling her closer. "No, not at all, kitten. But maybe just leave the phone to me for now," he teased. Sheza just smiled at her happy family and exhaled in contentment.
Numerous sleek black cars halted in front of the grandeur building of the mall. Sheza's eyes sparkled with excitement as her gaze took in the towering structure and the hustle of people moving in and out. Maira, noticing her daughter's bright expression, chuckled softly and patted her head lovingly.
Sheza looked up at her mother with a wide, beaming smile before turning her attention back to the bustling scene outside. But then, her smile faltered slightly, her gaze locking onto the ladies walking in elegant black abayas, their graceful figures moving with ease.
A small pout formed on Sheza's lips as she remembered her own wish to wear an abaya. "I wanted to wear one too," she mumbled softly, her fingers playing with the edge of her hijab. Maira, noticing her daughter's sudden quietness, leaned closer. "What's the matter, Kitten?"
Sheza sighed softly and glanced at Maira, "I wanted to wear an abaya, like those ladies. I always thought they looked so graceful." Maira smiled warmly and cupped Sheza's cheek. "You will, my beloved. And when you do, you'll look even more beautiful than you can imagine."
Sheza's pout turned into a small, shy smile. "Really?"
"Of course," Maira reassured her. "Your ammi will buy as much as you wish, we all will look for you." Sheza's eyes lit up again, her earlier excitement returning. "Okay, Ammi! That sounds perfect!"
Saad, who had been watching the exchange with a soft smile, leaned in from the front seat. "Anything for my Begum," he said, winking at Sheza, which made her giggle. Junaid, sitting beside the car door, looked on with pride. "Shall we head inside now?" he asked, his deep voice authoritative but laced with affection as always.
Sheza nodded eagerly, her excitement growing as she thought about the abaya she wished to wear. The guards quickly moved toward the doors, opening them smoothly for the Khan family. Junaid, tall and strong, stepped out of the car first, then turned and extended his hand to Maira. She took it firmly, her elegant presence radiating as she stepped out gracefully.
Saad followed, gently holding Sheza's hand as she practically bounced with excitement. As soon as her feet hit the ground, she squealed in delight, her eyes wide as she looked at the grand mall in front of her. Sheza couldn't help but bounce on her tippy toes, her excitement too much to contain, while the guards quickly closed the doors behind them.
Saad smiled at her enthusiasm, his hand still holding hers, guiding her as they walked toward the entrance.
