She was in one of her most favorite spot in her homeland. On the other side of the island is a rather big flower field filled with the most beautiful flower of all Grand Line. It was known to the local as Attwell Garden. The sky above her is rather dark, not even the star or the moon itself can be spotted on this sky. Oddly enough the flower was glowing as if they were in the day instead. There she was in the middle of it all, a small white figure close by to a dark figure in a butler suit she can't seem to see to make out was the person, due to the blurry shadow have hidden his face.

The last thing she can recall was getting in a fight with some man to earn both her and Mia freedom, but anything after that to her is a blur. The next thing she knew that she is here sitting on this rather tall white chair sipping tea and eating cake on this also rather tall white table. The tea set including the chair and table itself has this strange glow like the flower but rather stand out more than them. Rather than wondering what going on she just actual naturally. She just plays along with the tea party, this reminds her so much of her childhood. Almost everything she has done was alone. Even until now she still alone. Sitting in front of her is a young girl no older than 12. But she wasn't just any child well at least not a normal one, Selena should know cause this it was herself she was having tea with.

The child was playing with her biscuit and giggling. She can't help but chuckle at the young girl action, reaching up to her with a handkerchief gently on her lips removing the crumbs from her face. The girl smile at the older one action, so pure and innocent Selena think to herself. Making her wish she can be like that once more. From afar a man voice could be heard, caught both of your attention. Maybe it a calling from the past she thinks. The male that calls out to both of them was no other was Doflamingo himself but at his mid-20s. The youthful her seem to be really happy about the man appearance, jumping off of her chair she ran to him.

The male kneels down to the ground and opens his arm widely ready to embrace the child into his arm. She did so as well jumping right into his arm. He easily picks her up and twirls the young girl in his arm. Selena stares at them, envious toward herself. That was her once a long time ago. Whatever happened between you who knows. Maybe it the question only Doflamingo can answer himself. He was the one who went missing for all those years to come back when she is at her worst. It felt he went searching for her to help her when he found that can be useful. Her and her powers. She shakes those bad thought away knowing what it might do, taking a sip from her tea. Only to look back at the two with horrified eyes.

The colorful flowers are now painted with scarlet red blood. Doflamingo was laying the ground lifeless, the child must be terrified she just stood there looking down upon the dead body. Selena rushes to her, the last white un-stain chair table and tea set disappear into white petal being blow away into the wind. She turns the girl over and hides her younger self face into her gown attempting to cover the girl view of the corpse. But only then she releases, the girl was holding something in her hand and it was tripping something onto her shoe. As she looks down to see what it is, She immediately pushes the young girl away. She was the one who did this.

A sinister like laughter echo, the young girl looks up to her. Something is different now, she seems more like Selena herself it even dress like her. But their stare wasn't the same. Now it seems sharper, her eyes filled with madness and bloodlust, as it was no longer as blue as her own but rather red, as red as the flower stain blood. She was holding a knife that is still dripping fresh blood. Selena gasp, she doesn't believe it even with her own eyes. The other one gave her a grind that so wide it looks like it was craft on to her face.

Selena started to back away one step her double took one step further. She then started to back away three more steps, but so did the other. Selena turns 180 degrees around and starts running. They are both the same person but it seems like she can never outrun something she doppelganger. Being pin down to the ground, the double lean down and whisper to her.

" Sheep, Sheep Sheep it time to SlEeP!!!!"

" NO!!!!" Her eyes were burst tear, holding her knee up to her chest panting. It was all just a dream, It was all just a dream. She told herself repeatedly. Trying to ensure herself everything was just a bad dream, a horrible nightmare. She can feel a hot air is being blown right next to her, quite steady, she looks to see what it was. To her surprise, it was Doflamingo soundly asleep by her side. Noticing she is no longer in the cell of the manor nor is she in Mia bar, she looks around to see whether there are any familiar faces. She saw on the other side, Mia was sitting back against the wall, she seems to have fallen asleep as well. Selena walks over to Mia carefully, as she tries not to wake up Doflamingo.

" Psst, Mia wake up." Selena said, with a soft voice.

" Mmmm... what is it" Mia said, in a sluggish voice while half sleep.

" Come on Mia wake up" Selena said, with a bit more louder voice. Mia wakes up roughly rubbing her eyes as she gives Selena a look asking her what does she want.

" What happens? When I passed out and why is Doflamingo here?" Selena said, yelling a bit to only suddenly cover her mouth to look and see if she woke him up.

" Will you quit your shouting I just woke up, also he helps us get out of the bandit's hideout after you knock out, Selena?" Mia said, there was a little hesitation in her voice. She stretching out and throwing a pebble at Doflamingo attempt to wake the warlord up. As Mia did it startled Doflamingo causing him to literally jump up from his spot.

" Hahaha, scared you huh sunshine" Mia, said chuckling with giggles.

" You almost gave me a bloody heart attack I thought we-" Doflamingo hiss at the Mia, only to stop on his track as he charges at Selena for a hug. Sadly Selena refuses to let him do so moving to the side and let him hit the wall between the girl. As Doflamingo trying to rub his nose Mia is dying from laughter. Selena rubs the dust off her dress and stood up. The young girl walks toward the exit, hand in her dress pocket to pull out a whistle. Taking a deep breath she blows on the whistle, having her hand on her chest waiting for something to happen.

After a long moment of silence, a loud squawk. Making the other bird in the forest flew away from their nest and up to the clear blue sky. There was one that separates from the rest heading straight to her. It was her trusty friend crow, Rouge. The crow as glad to see her as she is to be seeing him. Landing on the girl's shoulder the crow snuggle under her cheek. Soon after the crow melted, the black liquid flow to Selena back and a pair of black wings formed. Mia and Doffy can clearly see what gonna happen next. Before Selena can take another step toward the exit, only to stop by an invisible wall blocking her exit.

"Selena you can't just run away from your problems." Mia finally spoke to break the silence. Selena didn't respond, still having her head looking down while turning back. Selena could easily break the wall with her power, but knowing how Mia is. She won't let Selena leave the island without a fight, the last thing she would ever want to do is to hurt anyone else. As for the Young Master, he came this far to get her, he probably does it again. "You have to face it one way or another."

"I rather face it alone than to have people around me suffer from it." Without looking up Mia and Doflamingo can clearly see tear is falling down from her cheek. "You think I don't want to face it, but each time thing just gets more and more out of hand." She slowly looks up to them, her eyes were overwhelmed with tears. The other two didn't say anything cause they knew you were right, life doesn't seem to want you to have an easy life, or at least not yet. Even so, the thing she been through seems a little too extreme for someone like Selena. Mia goes over to Selena and hug her tightly and rubbing her back.

"Its ok Selena, we know that you had it hard. But you need to hear this running away only gonna makes thing worse Selena, the more you run away the more goes back and hits you" Mia said, snuggling the little girl. Selena can't do anything but burst into tears. Doflamingo was upset of this situation, crunching his hand into a fist. He feels helpless and a little guilty as if what happened to Selena he has a part of. Trying to keep his cool, his frown slowly turning back to his signature grin, taking a step toward the girls. The sound of footsteps, Selena with your puffy eyes look up to the man.

"I think it's time for you to face one of your mini challenges Selena," Mia said, turning her way to look at Doflamingo giving him the questionable look to start saying something to Selena to make her feel better. Selena looked at Doflamingo with her puffy eyes and her cheeks rosy red, causing him to feel even more guilty not being there for her.

"Selena, I know I wasn't there like I have promise, or was there when god knows what happen to you. But here I am telling you that your a part of my Donquixote family and family stay together"

" Hold on you!" Mia interrupts him while holding onto Selena. "Did you defiled her you monster" Mia hissing at him only for him to think about his words he said causing Mia to think he did some naughty things to Selena. Doflamingo holds up his hand in defense, still grinning.

"I don't just lay around with any girl I see if they don't want to." Then Doflamingo grin grew wider as he sticks his tongue out, and said. " Unless they are my prisoner~" As soon Mia hear that her body became engulfed in flames surrounding Selena protecting her causing Doflamingo to regret his remarks.

"Want to say that again," Mia said in an evil sinister tone causing Selena some concerns and Doflamingo as well. Doflamingo put his hand down making a more serious look to himself. Mia flames get hotter and brighter as she hugs onto Selena as a protector of some sort. Selena knew if she didn't do something quick Doflamingo could be in trouble. She couldn't help but giggle at the two, which shock them quite a little.

" Hehe, you guys are like a married couple."

"WE ARE NOT A MARRIED COUPLE!!!" Mia and Doflamingo said, at the same time causing them to look at each other and look away. Doflamingo just looks away with his arm crossed, trying to straighten himself up again. Coughing a little before he finally spoke again. " My point was once Selena has joined my crew she is seen as a family, I promise this time I won't let anything hurt you again. As for-"

"So.... all you want her to forgive you is that it?" Mia said, interrupting him again just to piss him off.

" Yes, and also Selena what's your relationship to your unreasonable person," Doflamingo said, trying to keep his cool and not to hurt or piss Mia off.

"Go ahead and tell him, Selena. He finds out sooner or later, " Mia said, giving a gentle smile to her. Selena hugs Mia more and turns to Doflamingo who is waiting for her answer.

"She is my friend from the slave trade. She actually pays attention to me, she never left me or break any promises to me. She is like family to me" Each of Selena word is like an arrow hitting the right spot at Doflamingo self-esteem. Mia notices this and chuckle, knowing she is a better friend than him.

"See told you, I was n't lying," Mia said giving Doflamingo a smirk. Doflamingo just glares back at her. Trying to hold his calm toward the girl, and once again straighten himself. Pulling out his most gentle and calming voice, hoping no praying it can touch the girl's heart. "Selena I have been worry about you all this time, and have come so far to get you. Will you come back with me?" Mia pulled Selena away from her a bit and patted her head.

"This is all you Selena I'll be outside the cave ok" Mia walked outside followed by the little crow who once was attached to Selena. She watched as the two closest people left her side and head to the exit. Knowing they want her to make this decision is her own, they're not gonna try to stop her or influences on her choices. She then turns back her focus back to the man stood before her waiting for her to say something. But he might have to wait a little longer as the girl was analyzing the situation linking the present and her past dream. What if it was a prophecy for something horrible, the result of her choice. Then again whether her choice is it isn't gonna change the future. Is it truly her faith, killing someone who means so much to her. Just by the thought of it scared her. She look straight at his glasses, she could feel his eyes staring at her. She took a deep breath in and out.

"As much as I would like to stay with Mia to live a normal life of a commoner, living each day with trust and joy, knowing we have each other back avoid being suspect for any crimes." She glared at him for a short moment before continue. "...But just started to have a life of her own, the last thing I would want to do is making someone miserable. And stripping Mia away from her freedom is one of them." Selena hesitates to continue again, looking down to the ground trying to hold it together. Looking up back up to Doflamingo with blue orbs. It shocks him those eyes, it was the coldest look ever, especially when it was Selena who was staring at him with them. A stare reminded him of himself when he was betrayed by his brother, the stare of hurt and hatred. He deserves it he told himself relaxing himself impress himself for the final answer. Good or bad he has to accept it, it was the least he can do for her.

"I shall return to.... Dressrosa with you."

He felt his heart skip a beat, unbelieve what he has heard. The frown on his face, turn back into a grin maybe even wider than the one before. He may not have the chance to change her past but at least he has the chance to give Selena a better life in the Royal Family. Replacing her bad childhood with the happiest memories ever. He can take her on trips with him show her every amazing inch of the world. Give the girl the dream life she merits. First, he makes the whole country know about her to protect her fro-

"That doesn't mean I forgive you." Doflamingo thought was interrupted with Selena last and final words. By hearing that it like to cut away from a beautiful dream while in the best moment. "If any of my further misfortune happen, I want you to be the one that takes it. Not Mia."

"I understand" He know thing can never be the same again. But he has hope that once he can prove to her he will stand up for her no matter what. She might one day smile at him once again, until then he will treat still treat her like that sweet little girl he once knew. He smiles at her response, this must the first time anyone has ever seen him in his true smile. Most people would be shocked at the sight but Selena still holds that cold numb look toward the man. It sem the role now have switched.

"Don't be too hard on him, Selena." Mia said, outside of the cave leaning against the cave wall. Knowing her friend waited for her to go away to say it in order to not to hurt her feeling. Selena was shocked, her expression doesn't show it much but if you have a really close look in her eyes you can see her stare have change. From cold stare of distrust and hate, it slowly turns into a star of sadness and guilt. If paying enough attention to Selena, a true friend would know how she feeling without even looking.

"Hehe, yes I heard everything Selena and you're not ruining my life. We are family after all and family helps each other no matter the situation" Mia said, smiling giving hope to Selena. A small hope that she still have someone to go to once things started to go back. Mia figure slowly walks out to the exit opening her arm, and Selena without a second thought run to Mia hug. She snuggles her face into her friend body, not knowing Mia is secretly showing her weak side ou to her.
