As Selena runs through the town in the pouring rain, she holds Rouge close in her arm keeping the crow warm and dry. She couldn't help but think to herself as she was crying.

' I'm a monster. A horrible monster. What had I done? I nearly kill Trebol, Diamante and...and him.' Remembering everyone horror eyes and Baby5 scream, she stops and sat down in the ally crying. She ignores the cold rain pouring down on her or her current position. Nothing matter to her today.

A young woman walking by the ally hearing sound of someone crying she stop. Because of curiosity the young woman walk toward the cry. She notices a little figure with a familiar sense of clothing and snow white hair.

" Selena is that you?" The girl only looks up and she discovers it was one of her friend from the slave trade that she never have the chance to see her before she got taken and never thought they would never get to see each other again.

"M...Mia?!" Selena said as she runs quickly to her melting down in her friend embrace.

"Selena it is you, oh how I missed you so much," Mia said, giving her a great hug. As she did she could've heard Selena starting to cry in her arms.

"I miss you so much Mia I thought I never see you again." Selena said as she keeps crying in her friend's arms.

"There, there it's ok Selena I'm not going anywhere," Mia said, in a calm sweet voice making Selena feel safe. She keeps holding her friend close for a long period of time.

"Mia where did you go? Why did you leave me?" Selena said, rubbing her eyes trying to remove the tears she cries.

"I..I didn't Selena. There was a restaurant open nearby. So I sneak out to get you some, but by the time I got back you were already taken." Mia said as tears run down both sides of her cheek. She wipes them away quickly letting her friend know she was ok. Selena hugs her friend again burry her face in the girl shirt.

"Can we go somewhere warm, Mia. I don't want you to catch a cold." Selena said to her friend. She has always been like this always care about others before herself. Even though that she has been under the rain for a lot longer than Mia has.

"Right, sorry I almost forgot that we are standing in the pouring rain." Mia said, as she stops hugging Selena and takes her hand allowing Selena to follow her to shelter. As Selena follows Mia she sees a cute little house on the edge of the town. It was small like some inns but had long green ivy vines running up the side of the wall.

"Mia, what is this place it's very cute." Selena said as she follows Mia inside only to be based with complete warmth of heat.

"Oh this place is my inn Selena it not much but it gives you a cozy feeling of being home." Mia said, looking at Selena and Rouge.

" I see. Well you always have been good dealing with drunk men ever since we still young." said Selena as she uses a napkin to dry Rouge feathers. There so many things that they both want to ask each other but don't know where to start or even who should start it.

"So, Selena why were you crying?" Mia said, looking at Selena, who frown stop drying her crow. She notices her friend action every time something happens and she doesn't talk to anyone about it to make them worry about her so before look up and answer she would stop a minute to calm down.

" What do you mean it was just the raindrop on my eyes that all" Selena smile at her friend. That classic fake smile again.

"Selena, I know you good and well that's a fake smile you give to people when you're hurt. Now tell me the truth, Selena." Mia said, giving Selena the tell me now look. Well at least she tries but her children know her too well. She sweatdrops and smiles shyly scratching the back of her neck.

" He hehe, you got me there. Like always." She put down her stuff and have a chair put up to her, not facing her friend and add with a cracking voice. " I..I screw up again. I did it this time I finally meet him again, b...but m..my power I lost control of my emotion." Mia watch her friend as she notices drops of tears start falling down on the wooden floor.

"Selena," Mia said, as she pulls her closer to her into a hug and rubbing Selena's back trying to keep her calm. "It's ok Selena you didn't mean to lose control that happens sometimes," Mai said, wiping away her tears. The young girl just hugs her friend and cry harder.

" Wh...why of all people him? Wh...why? Th...this isn't a gift it a curse a curse!!"

"Hey, Hey, now your gift is not a curse Selena. It's a gift and you should be proud of it not scared of it Selena." Mia said hugging Selena closer to her. Selena keeps crying until she got tired and fell asleep in Mia's arm. She sighs at her childhood friend who work herself up until she drops. She picks her up and carries her to a room as she tugs the girl in she noticed a dark figure walk into the room standing next to the door.

" I do hope she doesn't catch a cold after this."

"Don't worry, she won't but you're going to have to explain to me who made my friend cry. Cause I know there is more to the story. " Mia said, as she looks towards the shadow at the door. She didn't see it but she can feel him smirking.

" Very well then why don't we take this downstairs with a cup of tea, milady."

"Sure." Mia said walking out of the room and closing the door behind her. As she gets downstairs most of the customers were gone and it was quiet in the inn. "Ok spill it out now." Mia said, getting her cup of tea.

" You haven't changed one bit. Still the feisty girl we know." He sat down and tell her what happens.

"So that's what happened, poor Selena if I would have known sooner she was staying with Doffy. I would have come and saved her a lot quicker." Mia said, sipping her cup of tea. "Well Selena can stay as long as she wants to, but she will sometime have to face Doffy and the others soon you do know that right." Mia said looking at straight at him in his gold shiny eyes.

" I have known this from the start. But it almost like destiny that they meet again after 13 years." He also took a sip from his tea. " And I know it, either way, she will go look for him but I never thought fate have already set it plan."

" Really, well we can't stop her" Mia said, as she finishes her tea. The male smile and also drink his tea.

" Well while she still here why don't you have her as an employee, so at least she won't feel useless. Why not as a singer or a waitress or even both." The male smile with relief.

" Sure why not see my friend I should know her as well as you do." Mia said with a smile as she cleans up the cup for both of them.

" Correct. By the way do you still have the scientists note from the lab."
