"And did you feel any suspicious?"Rose asked me.

"No..nothing suspicious.But it was at night,so I couldn't see anything.Just I saw that animal crossing",I told Rose.

"Mahir told me,he told me not to go out in the dark",I said.

"Bella,you came to meet him only.Don't worry about it.Just don't say it to Mahir",Rose said.

"But what about that animal Rose?"I asked and she looked baffled.

"Bella,you already know.There are some suspicious deaths taking place in our city.Many are doubting it as animal attacks..so maybe..it was just about that",Rose said.

"Then I was lucky yesterday night?"I asked and Rose laughed.

"Yes,you were lucky.But don't worry,you won't be harmed in any way",Rose said helding my hand.

"What?"I asked.

"Um..nothing,forget about it,OK?Is Mrs.Hamilton OK?"Rose asked.

"Yeah she is good,just yesterday night..she was scared when I misplaced this pendent",I said touching my pendant.

"Bella...can I touch it once?"Rose asked looking at it keenly.

"Yeah",I said and Rose was looking at it.

She leaned forward and touched my moon star pendant,she was caressing it,
"Jesus....",she pulled her hand back suddenly.

"Rose..what..what happened?"I gasped looking at her expression.

"Rose..are you OK?"I asked helding her hand.

"I'm..I..I'm good Bella..I'm good",she said looking at my pendant.

I looked at my pendant and looked at her again,
"Rose,is something wrong?"I asked her.

"Nothing..Bella..I'll meet you later,I need to go",she said getting up.

"But Rose..",she took her bag and walked out with a hurry.

What happened to her?

Why does everyone behave so weirdly around me?

I am fed up of this!

I took my bag and went out of the cafe.What happened to Rose?Why did she leave like that?

I was walking towards my college and saw Jessica,I need to talk to her.

"Jess",I called her and she looked at me.

She started walking again.

"Jessica wait",I said and ran to her.

"Jessica..listen to me",I said helding her hands.

"What is it Bella?You don't need me,Rose is enough for you",she said removing her hands from mine.

"Jess...it's..it's not like that.What are you talking?"I said.

Jessica was hurt,I've hurt her.

"Jess..I am sorry,I am so sorry for what I said that day..I really am",I said.

"Can we talk somewhere else?"she asked looking around.

We were in the middle of the campus.

"OK..let's go to the play area",I said and she nodded.

We both were sitting in our play auditorium,not talking anything.

"I was just concerned for you Bella,I didn't mean to hurt you in any way",Jessica said and I looked at her.

"But I love him Jessica",I said and she frowned.

"You love Mahir?"she asked and I nodded.

"Since when?"she asked.

"I don't know,maybe from the start",I said.

"How are you so sure Bella?"she asked.

"Jessica..I don't know why you are feeling Mahir as a threat to me.But he is not",I said.

"He saved my life when we met for the first time",I said.

"He saved your life?You were in danger?"she asked.

"Yes..I mean,I was near the lake.Liam called me over there",I said looking away.

"That bastard..it's nice that he is dead",Jessica muttered.

"What?"I asked.

"I mean,that day he was the one who attacked you.I know",Jessica said.

"Yeah,that day also he attacked me.I fell in the lake..Mahir was the one who saved me",I said.

"But Jessica,I didn't mean to snap at you that day.My emotions took over me,I couldn't stand anything against Mahir",I said helding her hand.

"Because you love him",Jessica said.

I nodded.I don't know why she is not OK with me liking Mahir.

"Why are you so much against him Jessica?Can I know one reason?"I asked hoping for an answer.

"You won't understand Bella..you won't",she said looking away.

"Try me",I said.

She looked at me for a spare minute and turned away,
"Let it be Bella,I am happy for you.You found someone for yourself",Jessica scoffed.

"But not at the cost of loosing you Jessica",I said.

"No..you didn't loose me Bella",she smiled looking at me.

"Come here",she said and I hugged her.

I sighed hugging her,
"I am always there for you Bella,be it any situation.If you are happy..then I am happy too",she said.

"I never felt this peace Jess,never before meeting Mahir.I lost my parent's recently",I sobbed hugging her.

"I know Bella..I know",she rubbed my back.

"After meeting Mahir..I didn't feel a void within me",I said.

"It's OK Bella..it's OK,I don't want you to cry over this matter again",she said wiping my tears.

"You will do what your heart wants,I know that and I respect that,for you",she said.

"Love you Jess",I said.

"Love you too",she said hugging me.

We smiled looking at each other.She narrowed her eye's on my pendant,
"This pendant looks so beautiful on you Bella",she said touching it.

"Yeah,I just love it",I smiled looking at it.

"Today..Rose she behaved so weirdly when she touched this",I told Jessica about it and she just gave a small smile.

"Don't worry about it",Jessica said.

"I don't know Jess,I am not understanding anything",I said.

"You don't need to take so much stress,I am always there for you",she said and I nodded.

We went back to our class and we were done with today's classes.

"Jessica..once listen to me",it was Ryan.

I came out of the restroom and saw them both,in the corridor.

Ryan was back of Jessica and Jessica was just walking away,
"Ryan",she said,when he held her hand.

They both looked around and Jessica looked at me.She held Ryan's hand and went away from there.

What is going on with them?

"Hey",I flinched.

It was Mahir!

"Hey",I hugged him.

As promised,Mahir took me to the lake.It was more beautiful during snowfall.We both were talking.

"How was your day today?"she asked hugging me.

"Well it was good,I cleared everything with Jessica..and we both are back together,I am so happy about it",I smiled hugging him tight.

"Well..that's good",he said rubbing my back.

"But..I just saw Jessica and Ryan.Are they together?"I asked him.

"Maybe they are,I don't invade in anyone's personal space",he said kissing my forehead.

"They looked like..they were fighting",I said.

"Don't worry,they will get through it",Mahir said.

I pulled back and smiled at him,
"What?"he asked.

"Nothing",I blushed and hugged him again.

"Hmm..Mr Mahir Davisson,heard that..it's your birthday tomorrow",I asked and he pulled back.

"Uhm..yeah..nothing so special",he said.

"Of course it is,it's your birthday Mahir.You will be turning twenty five",I said.

"Yeah,twenty five",Mahir said.

He is not at all excited for his birthday?

"You seem uninterested",I said.

"Because I am uninterested Bella",he said.

"Ohh..OK",I said.

"Bella..there is really nothing so special about my birthday.I don't celebrate it either way..it's just that..it doesn't bring me any joy or happiness",he said.

"But why Mahir?"I asked.

"Long story,some other day?"Mahir asked and I smiled.

"Fine,leave it",I smiled.

"What did your parent's think about me?Was I good that day?"I asked.

"You were amazing Bella,they loved you",Mahir said.

"Mahir..why am I so special to you?"I asked.

"I don't know..I just can't explain it in words",he said.

It was at the tip of my tongue,I want to say it or ask it.

"Ohk..so no plans for tomorrow?"I asked him.

"No plans,just Ryan and Joe arranged a party as every year.So you have to come",he said.

"You just said that you won't celebrate your birthday?"I laughed.

"I don't,but they do.My bastards",Mahir chuckled and Iaughed.

"Hmm..OK,that's nice.At least they are cerebrating your birthday",I said.

"Mahir..when was the last death which took place here?"I asked keeling my attack in my mind.

"Nearly fifteen days back",Mahir said.

"But why do you ask?"he asked.

"No..nothing..just simply",I said.

I was really lucky that day.Or else I would be in that death list by now.

"OK let's go?It's snowing very heavily,you will catch cold",Mahir said.

"Yeah,let's go",I said and we both got up.

Mahir dropped me at my home and I was still thinking about my attack.I was really lucky.

Thank God,I was not killed by some animal...let's say a freaking werewolf!

MAHIR DAVISSON

I dropped Bella at her home and went back to campus.We need to take care of something.

I distracted Bella and took her to the lake point,but she already saw Jessica and Ryan fighting.

I parked my car and looked around,finally campus is empty.

I went inside and heard thudding sounds.I knew,there must be a lot of show going on.

"What the fuck?"I heard Joe's voice and a glass chattering sound.

I ran immediately and opened the door,
"Cool down Jessica",Rose said showing her palm and Jessica groaned closing her eye's.

"Rose..stop it..stop",Jessica groaned in pain.

Rose looses her calm when it comes to Joe,she is his mate!

"Rose,let it go",I said and she released her fist.

Jessica opened her eye's and looked at me,with so much anger.She looked at a glass piece and looked at me.It came in my direction,almost near my throat.I moved aside and looked at her,I escaped her attack.

Yes,she is a witch!

Just like Rose!

"Jess..stop this and hear us out",Ryan told her,I know he was breaking from inside.

"You cheat..don't ever try to come near me again",Jessica shouted looking at Ryan.

Even Ryan missed another shot of her's.

"Jessica,you need to calm down",I said.

"Fuck off..fuck you all..just lemme goo..",she shouted.

She was bound by Rose's magic,only Rose can undo it.

"Cool down Jessy..my very very dear cousin",Rose said.

Rose found out everything about her.

Jessica looked shocked,
"What?You think I can't find out about you?"Rose scoffed.

"We know who you are Jessica",Joe said.

"You are a witch",I said.

"Yes I am,I am a witch",she said looking at me angrily.

"You are not just a witch,you are a wicked witch from my bloodline",Rose said.

"I am from that bloodline but I am not like them...lemme go",she shouted.

Jessica is a witch from Rose's bloodline,the bad witches.

She is definitely a threat to us and Bella too.

"You thought I wouldn't find about you?The moment I held your hand,I knew you are a supernatural person",Rose said.

"Then you didn't know I was a witch?"Jessica smirked and this angered Rose.

Rose groaned and she moved a chair towards her,in the air.

"Rose stop..please",Ryan came in between and that chair hit his back.

"Ryan,you need to get out from here.You can't see your girl getting tortured in my hands",Rose said and I sighed.

Rose's anger has no boundaries,just as mine.

"Babe..I think you should calm down",Joe said helding her hand,and slowly putting her hand behind.

"Rose,let me talk to her",I said.

"Mahir..lemme go...let me gooo",Jessica struggled to come out of the magic hold.

"Jessica,we will let you go.But first,we need to know your intentions towards Bella",I said.

"That's none of your concern",she spatted on my face,making me angry.

"Of course it is my concern you....",I sighed closing my eye's.

"Jessica,I'm asking you with a calm tone.You are not from the good bloodline,so you are definitely a threat to us and Bella.Are you helping our enemies?The vampire's?"I asked and her eye's went wide.

"Just say it Jessica,we will at least spare you",Joe said.

"If I am from a bad bloodline...that doesn't mean I am bad",she groaned.

"Then who the fuck are you?A fucking Mother Teresa?"Rose shouted and Jessica flinched closing her eye's.

"Jessica,what are you doing with Bella?Are you helping anyone?"I asked.

"Yes I am helping..I am",she shouted.

We looked at her keenly,what is she saying?

"Being werewolf's and witch...you guy's couldn't get a sense of Bella's scent",Jessica said.

"What are you saying?"Ryan asked.

"I don't want to talk to you..you get out from here",she shouted looking at Ryan.

"Jessica don't play around,tell me properly",I warned her.

"I am the one who is shielding Bella's scent from you all",Jessica said.

"That moon star pendant..that one,that is shielding Bella's scent.It has my magic in it",Jessica said,her shoulders slumping.

I looked at Rose and she nodded.She removed her spell and freed Jessica.

"I created a spell to protect Bella's scent from supernatural person's like us",she said.

"But wait...why are you protecting Bella?"Joe asked.

"Jessica,I am asking again.Are you helping anyone by shielding Bella's scent?"I asked her.

"If not my spell,it wouldn't take a second for dogs like you all to find out about her",she spatted with anger.

"Watch your mouth",Joe hissed and Ryan was hurt.

"Where is the another half of the witchcraft book?"Rose asked helding Jessica's jaw.

"I don't know..I don't have it",Jessica said.

"I need that book Jessica,I have to protect Bella",Rose said.

"Even I am doing that,even I am protecting her",Jessica said.

"If you want to protect Bella,you wouldn't have protected her from behind Jessica.You will protect her from behind only when you have wrong intentions against her",I hissed at her.

"I am protecting her from you all,creatures like you all Mahir",she shouted.

"She is my mate,she is my Luna",I shouted.

"I know that,that's why I am trying to hide her from you,make her distanced from you",she said.

"But..why?"I asked with disbelief.

"Because you are the biggest threat for her Mahir.She is your mate,your Luna",Jessica shouted.

"Then why is that a threat for her?"I shouted back.

"Because your pack is in danger now",she shouted back.

There was a pin drop silence all over the room.

Danger to our pack?

Like how?

"What are you trying to say Jessica?"Rose asked.

"Ask Mahir,he must be having an idea..that his pack is in danger",Jessica said.

Is she trying to manipulate us?

"Jessica don't try to manipulate us,you are playing with words",I warned her.

"I know that your pack is cursed",she said and I was shocked.

"Your pack,the Crescent pack..it's cursed with the moon curse....I know about it",Jessica said.

"OK..alright,this shit is new now.Will you tell us everything properly?"Joe asked.

"I will,but first..my hands are hurting,tell Rose to stop her magic",Jessica said.

I looked at Rose.Rose never backs off!

"Rose,I beg you.Please",I said and Rose rolled her eye's.

She broke the spell and now Jessica is free from the spell.She cried helding her hands.

"Jess..are you OK?"Ryan asked helding her hand.

"I will use one of my worst spells to get rid of you Ryan,you better stay away from me",she said with so much hurt.

Unintentionally I became a villain in these two's love story.I am sorry.

"I have one question for you Mahir.Do you know the reason why your pack is cursed?"Jessica asked.

"No,I don't know",I said.

I tried to find out the reason for our moon curse,but I couldn't find anything about it.Nothing from my parent's,even they have no clue about it.

"The vampires..they are your natural enemies",Jessica said.

"We know that,what's new?"Joe asked.

"Just like you are cursed with the moon curse..even they are cursed with the sun.They have sun curse",Jessica said.

"What the hell is this now?"Joe asked.

"Have you ever seen a vampire in your town?"Jessica asked.

"No..never.As far as we know,they were gone long back",I said.

"But they are not gone Mahir",Jessica said.

"Jessica..this is confusing me",I said.

"They are in a hunt for your pack,because you have the strongest pack and now..you will be an alpha for that pack.And Bella..your mate,she is a human.Your mate is a human",Jessica said,her eye's glistening with tears.

"Vampires?"Ryan asked.

"No..this can't happen..they were long gone",Joe said.

"No Joe,the evil doesn't sleep,it waits",Jessica said and a shiver ran across my spine.

"OK..OK...but..why is Bella involved in this?They are in a hunt for us,but why Bella?"I asked.

"I don't know the reason for that.But my grandma said only a thing before she died",Jessica said.

"What did she say?"I asked and now we all were looking curious.

"When I asked her the reason..she didn't say it.She just said that...'Bella is a Luna with human gene,blood and flesh",Jessica said.
