It was time for coral to talk to more people and get to know others, she can't be stuck with adrien the whole time. Adrien had the idea of making coral and marinette friends. He told everything about everyone . She soon catched who her classmates were, it was time face them . Adrien and coral both reached the school a bit early, everyone was making groups with their friends, there adrien saw marinette talking with alya , he didn't forget what happened last night with luka, he just couldn't get that out of head, yesterday's day was pretty much stressful , he felt bad for his sister, she just came to paris , but didn't get a warm welcome. Adrien made sure today she'll get to know other people. He motioned his finger towards marinette.

"Hey, see there, that girl is marinette, she is really a great friend of mine, talk to her , she is super sweet and awesome , she is talented and amazing", "she'll be really good friend of yours", adrien said , coral nodded, she was a little bit upset with turn of events that happened yesterday.

"Oh , ok , should i talk to her??

"Yes , she is really nice".

"Woah , dude chill , you like her or something?, hmmmm.....", coral made smug face , adrien smiled and chuckled and said....

"Haa no , she is really cute , she's one of my best friends"

Coral Grumps , "haaa, haaa.....now i am going to your ' friend ' you call".

Coral took big steps to reach marinette from the crowd, she saw a girl , cute, wearing a black jacket and pink pants, with blue shiny hair. Coral was a bit nervous to approach people , now she had to , even adrien wasn't there. She went to marinette's side, she quickly touched marinette's shoulder to make her notice . Marinette unaware , thought a stranger touched her shoulder , she quickly jumped , removing a "aaaaackkkk" sound. Coral was completely confused , her lips turned into a awkward smile.

"Uh , i am really sorry to scare you like that", coral apologised.

Marinette immediately recognised coral's face , her expression turned sour in no time . She immediately dusted her shoulder giving a angry and bothered look to coral , marinette started giving a cold shoulder to coral.

"Why are you here?", marinette said in a displeased tone.

"Uhmm, adrien sent me , to talk to you", coral said twitching her fingers .

"I am sorry , i am not interested in talking to or anyone who is friends with chloe , or anyone who is adrien's model friends", marinette said it all , her yesterday's burn of coral was not enough, she was totally annoyed with her. Coral understood marinette didn't wanted to talk with her , her face dropped , all the excitement which shone in her eyes became dull. She turned around saying,

"Oh, it's okay , if you don't want to talk to me , anyways i didn't knew i caused so much trouble in paris, i thought i would come here to give some company to adrien, never knew being his sister people would attack me like that ! Well bye ......"

Coral turned around to walk away , marinette's eyes widened , her lips were locked with regret, she had misunderstood coral the whole time, she was adrien's cousin ? Without hesitating marinette quickly held coral's hand.

"Wait......!!!!"

Coral looked behind to see marinette completely shocked ,marinette was shaking , her eyes couldn't meet coral's , she felt regretted .

"Are - are you really his sister?" Marinette asked shockingly.

Coral was utterly confused by marinette's question , she simply stood there, and gave a big long nod. Marinette after seeing the expression , completely collapsed within her mind .

"Sorry"

Coral unaware of what she was talking about , quickly held marinette's hand in her's , and promisingly said with giving a warm smile .

"Yes , i am !!!"

"I am sorry, i didn't knew you were hi-his sister, i misunderstood you and thought bad things about you !!!" Marinette said coral , sincerely apologising for thinking so ill of her, she couldn't meet her eyes, coral saw marinette's face , completely flushed with pink. Without hesitating coral asked her.

"Do you like him?", that was it , marinette tried to hide her face , despite knowing that she didn't like him anymore , but still , in some part of her heart , there was still adrien agreste ruling .

Coral decided to drop the conversation as marinette kinda seemed uncomfortable and didn't wanna talk about it . She quickly held her hand ouy to marinette signalling a handshake saying ,
"Well , nice to meet you marinette  ! I am coral". Marinette reluctantly raises her hand shaking coral's and smiling .

"Nice to meet you coral !! , i am marinette dupain-cheng"

"Hmm...so are we friends ?", coral said .

"Hm....only if you forgive me", marinette said with a smirk and held her hand to corals shoulders, coral sweetly nudged her with her elbow , and they laughed !!!

"Adrien sure did talk a lot about you , you are more better than his descriptions honey!!!" , coral said going with marinette to the classroom , while alya was busy with nino chatting over a new announcement on the notice board.

(Adrien and mirelle)

Adrien holds the letter given by mirelle to confront her about his feelings towards her. He see's mirelle in a corner standing quietly , he goes and gives a gesture. Mirelle quickly turns around and her face immediately drops with embarassment seeing adrien face. She quickly started apologising for yesterday's drama and accusing her sister. He gave an comforting smile to assure her everything was okay. She then see's her love letter in adrien's hands , she quickly looks at him for his response.

"Adrien , i have a big crush on you , and i love you, please tell me if you too", she shrugged and asked adrien.

"Oh, your letter is really beautiful , but its not meant for me , i am really sorry mirelle , but i cannot tell the same , because i just dont love you , i am not into girls like you !", adrien replied straightly.

"Then what kind of girls are you into?"

"Hmm...i love girls who are smart and confident and someone who can beat me down", adrien said smiling, and casually tried to walk away , turning around , but mirelle gave her last try.

"I can be like those girls, confident and smart , please take me !!"

"The thing is ......you are not that girl, she is what she is , without changing herself, i am sorry , you don't love me , you just admire me ", adrien said with a  smirk and walked away . Mirelle stood there , with her letter realising she just wasn't made for him. That girl must be super lucky, mirelle whispers to herself tearing her letter.

The class started, everybody were on their assigned seats , they were chatting with each other, fighting, playing games , till miss. Bustier entered. Coral was sitting with adrien and nino, somewhere in her heart she felt bad for stealing nino's best friend. She quickly raised her hand , interrupting miss. Bustier from saying something important.

"Yes coral, do you have a queries?"

"Ma'am i demand you to change my place , and shift beside marinette and alya, because i don't want to come between in the friendship of nino and adrien".

Miss. Bustier thought for a while and then nodded. Coral took her bag and sat next to marinette and alya . Alya was literally fangirling and marinette was happy to welcome her. Chloe on the other hand was super shocked and disappointed , she thought adrien has to do something with coral ignoring her. 'Ridiculous , utterly ridiculous' she said with a big frown.

"So , you guys must have read the notice board .....?", miss. Bustier said , doubtly if anybody had even read, whatsoever. Hearing this alya almost jumped .
"Yes.....misss !!!!" , she shouted. While marinette , adrien , coral , chloe and alix gave confused looks . Some children were way too excited about the announcement.

"What announcement??", marinette said , giving a total confused look , thinking something important has happened.

"Well, for those of you all , who are still living under a rock .....the announcement was a all around school annual day. In this annual day activities are divided class wise, and each class is given a certain topic , its a competition , all classes have to complete each other. The class who has given the best performance will have the most points and will win and continue for sports day".

"What activity has our class got?" , alix said , having no chill.

"Well, we have to do a play together!!" , "and i require the participation of the whole class ! ", miss. Bustier said , she was determined. Everyone's face was shocked.

"And how much time do we get !?!" , adrien asked.

"Approximately one week", the teacher answered.

"But how are we gonna do in one week ? according to my calculations there is a 20.56 % chances we are going to fail , and 30.12% chance our work will be basic and not worth winning", max replied , calculating all the possibilities.

"What are the rest possibilities?", kim asked.

"Well, the rest is that we can pull it off", max replied pushing his thick glasses to his eyes.

"Don't worry peeps, i have everything in my mind ! The moment i saw the notice board, i knew i had this play in my mind , and it is sure gonna bring us to victory !!!", alya said confidently.

"Well, what is that lame idea of your's?", chloe asked , making the least interested face. "I better be the main heroine of the play".

"The idea we have had is the old story of apple of discord", nino said, looking back at the whole class.

"Eww....whatever is that apple of discord, better be a great story", chloe said , filling her newest manicure.

"I think Apple of discord , isn't a bad a idea, on the contrary it's actually good ! There is love , hate , war , jealousy and sadness", "Alya , you guys should discuss about your idea right away!", miss. Bustier approved alya's idea, she invited alya to come front and explain her idea a bit more.

"I think guys we all know the story , for thos who don't know , i am giving you a quick review of it" , alya took a small pause, removing her cellphone , and started reading, " The greek god of all gods , Zeus held a wedding of peleus and thetis , as a symbol of unity , he invited all the gods , except Eris , who was the goddess of chaos. Pertaining the fact that she was not invited she decided to cause a fight between the goddesses , thinking who is the fairest of them all, she decided to throw a apple with engraved words -kallisti , the fairest of all. The goddesses started arguing on who will get the apple , later the fight was shortened to three beautiful goddesses - hera, athena and aphrodite. Zeus decided  to make a fair decision . He commanded to ask the opinion of the most handsome human on the earth - paris . The goddesses started bribing paris , hera told paris she can give all the world's riches, athena bribed him by giving the immortal strengh and life , but paris was not convinced. Lastly aphrodite won paris's trust by giving him love and telling she can make him fall in love with the most beautiful woman on the earth- helen of troy. Paris gave the golden apple to aphrodite . As promised , aphrodite made helen fall in love with paris. But king menelaus became angry and thus , trojan war started". Alya finally finished and gave a small bow. Coral was totally awestrucken by alya.

"Whoa ....such an amazing story , but are we going to replicate the whole war thingy?", coral asked.

"No...we are not . We can end with a amazing kiss between paris and helen and then narrate the whole trojan war and end with paris dying and helen returning back to menelaus.

"That works , alya , really good ! You guys can sort the characters roles now", miss. Bustier said appreciating alya's hardwork.

"Well then, obviously i am going to be helen" , chloe said to the class. Marinette gave a grossed expression.

"No way ! Everyone knows, i am going to be helen , and adrien will paris", Lila said slamming her desk. Adrien thinking the idea of kissing lila almost popped his eyes.

"I am the sweetest , i can pull of helen much better", rose said .

Everyone started arguing over playing the main roles, some girls wanted to be helen , boys wanted to be paris. Coral seeing the feud , tried to calm it down by a fair opinion.

"Ok ok ok , everyone calm down!! We all want the main roles ! Why dont we settle this down by a class vote ? We can take a paper , write the roles and write the name of the students who should play this role ! , no one can write their own name , in this way , it will be fair to everyone - the person who class votes the most will play the role !", coral gave her simple idea.

"Hmm.....this is not a bad idea coral ! ", miss. Bustier exclaimed. Everyone obeying took a page and started writing the roles alya announced. Chloe wrote adrien in paris and coral in helen and rest she filled flukely. Marinette too , decided to write adrien in paris and wrote rose in helen . Alya exactly knew what she had to write where. Coral obviously didn't wanted to be helen , she knew adrien was going to be paris , it was a good opportunity to set marinette up with adrien , so that's what she did. Everyone wrote their own opinions who should be who. After submitting the papers, miss.bustier narrowed down the most voted ones for each role.

"So.....the main role of paris will be played by adrien" , the teacher said. Adrien face had no surprise , he knew he was paris somehow . He wished the role of helen should be someone better, and not chloe.

"The role of helen will be played by coral,since she is the most voted" , coral's face turned pale , she cannot kiss her brother. Marinette was surprised . The other students were grossed out with the pair. Adrien turned behind to look at coral , she immediately stood up defending herself.

"No miss, i definitely cannot play coral and kiss my own brother !!! , you can put me in into a different category, besides i would reconsider you in giving role to second-most voted , please !" , coral begged. The teacher completely understood her. She decided to give the role of helen to the second most voted.

"Then , according to the votes , the second is marinette " , miss. Bustier announced. Marinette froze . She became utterly numb , she had no idea that she was going to be helen and now she had to kiss adrien. Adrien was atleast fine with it , he thought marinette was better than all the girls . The turned around giving a sweet smile to marinette . Marinette nervously smiled back. But in her mind ........she was completely stressed out and not ready for it. The other roles were announced. Alya was the narrator , nino prepared the dialogues and decided to direct the play , he also decided to play zeus. The role of aphrodite was given to coral , menelaus will be played by ivan , rose became hera , and chloe became athena. Nathaniel became peleus  and juleka thetis . Kim became the amazing warrior achilles and max became hector. Alix became achilles's lover. And sabrina became hector's wife. Due to less boys in the class , mylene decided to be odysseus , and lastly due to her cruel nature - lila became eris.

It was decided who was going to be who. Miss. Bustier gave permission to practice in library after period. Alya got the script of the play from internet with dialogues. It was all ready ! Costumes and props needed some work , they decided to do it later. Nino commanded everyone to gather in the school stage after break . So they can discuss and rehearse the scene with dialogues.

All the students gathered around with the scripts alya gave . Chloe was least bothered about the play since she was not helen , she casually kept tapping her phone. Coral was super excited , she practised her lines perfectly. Marinette on the other hand was nervous, just nervous, she wasn't nervous playing helen , it was adrien who was playing paris bothered her. Marinette started walking here and there. She had some time to practise since her major part was at the end of play .The play was settled , alya began narrating , she instructed everyones's time and actions . Zeus and hera came , other characters acted as party guests and extras , lila played her role , it suited on her. Coral practised her lines. The part where coral was bribing adrien came,

"I shall give thou the most precious and valuable gift you could ever get"

"And what is thy gift ?", adrien said acting paris.

"I shall make thy fall in love with the most beautiful woman on thy earth- helen", coral recited her lines , holding her paper and looking at adrien.

"Then thee shall get this prized apple ! Give me her love" adrien said giving the apple to coral . The classmates create a senario of a party , the party in which menelaus comes to make peace with troy . Aphrodite makes paris and helen meet. It was time for marinette to do her part, she started sweating , adrien somehow noticed it , he went near her and whispered "don't worry , we are going make this easy for you" and then he quickly went back to his place. Alya nudged marinette and gave a quick wink. Marinette went near to adrien , her heart started beating faster . She started to shake. She held adrien's hand and started reciting her dialogue.

"Oh thy handsome man ! Thee are the most beautiful creature i have ever seen !" , " I am loved by you" ,marinette said the dialogues , nervously , she kepy looking at the page again and again. Alya was disturbed with marinette's acting , so she decided to do it again , this time marinette did it better , adrien continued with his dialogue.

"Oh , the most beautiful woman , helen . I feel the same . I love you !" Adrien said perfectly , looking into marinette eyes. Marinette's heart started pounding, she could not stop shaking . It was time for the kiss , adrien according to the script leaned down and marinette had to do the same ! She saw adrien's beautiful lips coming down to hers , his eyes closed. This was the best opportunity for marinette , she had been waiting for years to do it ! She closed her eyes, adrien's lips coming more closer. Everybody was staring in excitement , adrien held her chin, and kept his hands on her waist , marinette kept her hands on his cheeks, her lips just a centimeter away , she could feel his calm breath and he could feel her anxious breath. It was about to happen , adrien was going to kiss marinette, but alas !

Dun...dundun .....guys whats gonna happen?? Any guessings ? I was going to write what happened , but i decided it to go for the next chapter.
And if adrien is "friends" with marinette , then even i also wanna be "friends" with adrien . Guys dont forget to comment , please, it increases my confidence in writing.

Preview of next chapter : something happens (obviously i am not going to tell) marinette can't play the role of helen , the skit becomes a mess and chat goes to confront about this to her. Also coral meets kagami !
