It was over. Master fu is gone. Marinette is the new guardian, it was all over her now. she sat down in her room, resting on the chair, she continuously kept brushing her temples, thinking of what to do next.

Now the miracle box became her responsibility, it was her duty to save and protect the citizens of Paris. So much responsibility!

At such a young age, Tikki was by her side, she felt pity for Marinette, she was just like other teenagers she deserved to have fun as her other friends. Marinette sighed, continuously looking at the shell-shaped miracle box, totally not knowing what to do next.

If only master fu was by her side, he always helps her, now he is not.  All the decisions now will be made by her. She thought she was immature to make decisions. Thinking of master fu, a tear or two fell out of her eye, everything was going so overboard and out of control in her life.

She stood up, seeing that, Tikki quickly asked, "where are you going, Marinette?"

"I am going to open that box. It is my duty now, I have to do it", she went to the box, which she brought from the locker along with notes written by Master Fu.

As soon as she cracked the egg magical things started to happen. Soon the egg was lifted up and was transformed into a box. Miraculously, she opened it and checked all the miraculous were present, except her chat's, hawkmoth and Mayura's.

She had to disguise the box because to hide the miraculous as master fu did. She quickly thought of disguising it into a sewing machine, after an hour or so, she finished disguising it into a sewing machine, she would press the buttons and the box would appear, it was perfectly combined.

After an hour she rested her neck on her chair, thinking of Adrien, is he out of love with her? Besides he never noticed her, always called her a friend, anyways now there was Kagami, she became great friends with her but something was in between - it was Adrien.  

In her heart somewhere she had forever inscribed Adrien's name, it wasn't a normal crush, it was love. She was so determined on him, she rejected every other boy, including chat noir, there was a pang of guilt in her heart.

Besides there was Luka now, who loved her, cared for her, can things be the same? No. They can't, the chat had stopped calling her m'lady, stopped acting flirty around her, stopped making puns and jokes, did she break his heart more? Or did she go too overboard with Adrien that she actually forgot that chat loved her ? Marinette decided to stop her interest in romance and focus on ladybug more.

Every hero's identity except hers and chats identities have been discovered, hawkmoth knows about it and can't plan anything worse, she needs to be prepared, she needs to know what to do next.

Chloe on the other side had lost all her development. She was the same as before, she hated ladybug even more now. Marinette thought she should listen to her, her love for Adrien became so blind that she is turning her friends into enemies but she knew at the end of the day, she had chat noir with her.

" We can't lose hope. People are relying on us, let's go back to how we always were, you and me against the world m'lady"

These words of chat noir echoed in her mind. They were a team, he is always with her no matter what happens, there's no ladybug without a chat noir, they were a team, they always get the solution, she is nothing without him. Marinette realised how much chat noir meant to her, he always is there to save the day.

"Complete the homework, Marinette. We have to go to school tomorrow", Tikki said, breaking the silence between her and Marinette.

Marinette smiled, thinking about how her little friend always supported her. She pouted and started completing her school work. Even though she was stressed ! But
everything vanished with just a simple smile.

Adrien had been standing at his window for too long, he was lonely. Thinking of things which happened today, no one was by his side, watching the stars, and Plagg was observing him. He was just thinking, poor Adrien, has no mom, and his dad is too busy. His only love - his ladybug rejects him, no love for the poor boy yet people think he is mister perfect, he has got a perfect life , everything on the platter, no one knows the real truth.

Apart from that he has played his duty being chat noir, he liked being chat noir, it was an escape for him from his daily problems. He was able to live his true self, rather than a show and tell the product that his father made him, most of all he gets to see his lady every day.

Adrien is fascinated by girls who are strong, brave and who can beat his ass. He never saw that in Marinette because she always messed up her words around him and stuttered. The ladybug was someone he thought was on his level, and apart from that he realised he had rejected Kagami today and didn't know the reason. It was the instincts.

"Kid, thinking about ladybug ?" Plagg asked

"No" he replied, "it's Marinette, what happened to her, why did she leave me? She seemed sad, there must be a reason!"

Little did Adrien know that seeing him and Kagami would make her heart sad, she would not be able to watch them so she left.

On the other hand, he felt bad for rejecting Kagami, he knew she liked him, maybe he liked her a bit though but it was ladybug. He was stuck up on her, how can he forget her so easily? They are partners after all but somewhere he knows how much is he going to bear the pain? How much is he going to endure for her, how many times will he wait for her love? That's why he was trying his luck with other girls.

Deep down ladybug was the one who made him blush and flutter. He didn't fall in love with the person, he fell in love with her personality, the way she cared for others. Many times he had wondered who was the girl behind the mask but he could not, he respected her feelings, he respected that she loved someone else, maybe giving just one try.

Thinking, he flopped down to his bed, there was a new day tomorrow which is school. He had to focus on school as well but he also understood how much of a responsibility ladybug now has. No wonder she doesn't have time for his childish charm. With a smile, he slept...
