Ten Years later,

It's been ten years since the birth of twins. Whole Family and the villagers are happy to have princesses like them. Growing up, Subhadra was always calm but with her twin she does many crazy things like, pranking on their brothers and villagers. Meanwhile, Vaani is a total crack head. She always does many crazy things. In short, we can say that she is living the childhood she always wanted to live, but because of her orthodox family. Her family also loves her some much. Also, she has springs in her feet because you will never find her sitting at a place. Always running around, doing some pranks, irritating her brothers specially Kanha.

To say Kanha sometimes regrets to teach her pranks when she was little. Sometimes when he tries to prank her, it always fires backs. And seeing his situation his family specially his brother always laughs at him. Just like Right now. So, let me tell you what happened here.

Nothing.

Haha just kidding. So, its day before Holi and Kanha tried to prank on our little Vaani with colors. But as always it fired back. And here he is standing totally drenched in colors and water. Let's just say Its tit for tat according to Vaani. why you may ask. So, the thing is three days ago Vaani and Kanha both had decided to steal some butter(makhan) from kitchen at night without getting caught by their mother. But Kanha betrayed her by putting her to sleep early that night. So here we are with the little revenge of our little Vaani.

Oh, and did I mention that they are now in Dwarika from last year? No, right so yeah, They shifted to Dwarika last year.

At night,

Its late night, but here our little Vaani is not sleeping. Instead, she is sitting in the balcony of her- I mean theirs - Subhadra and Vaani's room. She is gazing up at moon or you can say admiring the moon while thinking about her past life. Thinking that how everything changed suddenly, how her parents never tried to understand her, how they ignored her just because of her skin color which by the way is dusky brown color, people around her has always admired her skin and complex but her family has never really appreciated her for anything or everything. Thinking this she remembered a past incident.

Flashback,

A twelve-year-old girl was so much excited for her birthday that day but what she didn't know was that it will be the start of her worst nightmare. She knew that her family never really cared about her ever since she was born but her little fragile heart was never ready to accept that. She woke up early and got ready with the help of her nanny, as I said her family never cared much about her. After that she went downstairs and saw that her parents were busy doting over her sister, whose birthday was unfortunately on that day. But she (Vaani) really never cared about that. Well back here, she went to her parents being excited and hoping that may be today her parents will talk to her and will also dot on her like her sister. But maybe fate was not her side that.

She called parents two-three times for their attention. At the end they finally turned to her with annoyed expression on their face.

"What is it now, Vaani? Why are you disturbing our family time?" - said her mother. Breaking her heart into millions of pieces. Tears welled up in her eyes. But she controlled them remembering something.

"Never saw your tears in front of anyone. It only makes you weak and others satisfied. Always be strong and control your emotions in front of everyone." That's what her Dadi (grandmother) used to tell her knowing there will be no one after her to console her or save her from her parents' worth. Sadly, two years she died because of heart attack living her beloved granddaughter alone in the cruel world.

To be honest her family expect from her grandparents was never happy with her birth. There were also two reasons of them hating her one being her color as I said earlier and other being she was stealing spotlight of their beloved daughter with her appearance and perfect figure at very young age, their words and thoughts not mine.

Anyways, after controlling herself and muttering a sorry she moved to her room. Not in state to hear more harsh words. But it was just starting of the day, it's still left the whole day.

In evening,

It was now evening, the whole mansion was hustling and bustling with the guests. Of course, it's their beloved daughter's eighteenth birthday so they had to make it special. Completely forgetting about their other daughter. After some time, Vaani came downstair wearing a pretty black party gown, looking all pretty without any ounce of makeup. But if you will look in her eyes you will find how much she is struggling to keep her inner tumoral to herself. You can even find her eyes slightly red. But did anyone care about? Obviously not. It was the moment she realized how unwanted and unwelcomed she was.

Her mother noticed her in crowd and immediately she became angry. Why? Because she was looking more pretty than her beloved Akriti (Vaani's sister). Other being she had denied many times to her to not wear dark colored clothes stating that she doesn't look pretty in that. Even though she looked more pretty in dark clothes. There was also a reason she was different from her family that being she was not their daughter. Yeah, you guys read it right. She was adopted, she was daughter of late sister of Mr. Ahuja. And let's be honest Mr. and Mrs. Ahuja never really liked their sister/sister-in-law. Reason is still a mystery.

Soon party was over. But the anger inside the family members didn't die but only increased with every passing second because she was getting noticed and praised by every guests.

Present,

Vaani's thoughts were broken when someone placed a hand on her shoulder startling her. She looked back to find her twin sister looking at her being worried. "What happened ani? I have been calling you from a long time, but you are not answering. Are you okay? And why on the earth your eyes are filled with tears? Are you hurt somewhere?" She rambled all her worries. But hearing her rambles Vaani chuckled with tears filled her eyes again and she burst out crying. Subhadra sensing that she might be remembering her past gathered Vaani in her arms, murmuring comforting words in her ears.

After some time, Vaani stopped crying and was sniffling. Seeing her exhausted look Subhadra led her to the bed and made her sleep. Soon enough she was in deep slumber. Subhadra gazed at her twin and smiled sadly looking at her face. She knows everything about her, her past and her rebirth as twin. Of course, she knows after all she is Yogmaya. One of the Mayas Kanha had created. After some time, she also fell asleep while cuddling with her sister.

Lovely reader I don't know about which color suits to dark skin tone or in Vaani's case Dusky brown skin. But as I also have dusky brown skin still I don't know cause I always wears the colors I like specially dark colors cause I love dark colors specially black and red. Also no hate towards any girl named Akriti, its just I remembered this name suddenly so yeah.

Also never let anyone comment on your dressing style or your appearance because you are beautiful the way you are. Never let anyone's taunt or talk to take over your thoughts. Just be Yourself. ✨❣️
