I think it takes a whole minute for Aiden to register what I'm saying. His face goes from shock to sheer happiness. The happiness brings a relief to me.

"When did you find out?" He says smiling.

I swallow, "only last night it was confirmed".

He grabs my hands and kisses my knuckles, "We are having a baby" he whispers.

"Yes" I say smiling slightly.

"We need to get you checked out properly and make sure you get something to eat. I'll get the decorators in tomorrow morning to start the planning for our baby's  room" he continues to ramble on.

"Aiden" I say interrupting, "This doesn't change anything. I'm still not moving back in"

He goes from disbelief to annoyance in a second.

"Alessia are you fucking crazy. Your carrying my child. Do you really think this doesn't change anything? Stop being selfish for once and think about what's right for this baby" he says.

I shudder at his hurtful words. Selfish? All I want to do is make his life better. I don't care about myself.

His face softens at me as I look down. " Im sorry baby I just want you to come home. Where you belong. With me"

I sip my tea trying to hold back from crumbling.

"I propose a truce" I say.

"I'm listening" Aiden says sitting closely.

"I will come back home. Just for the duration of the pregnancy. Once the 9 months are over and the baby's born I will move out"

"How about this? You move in for your pregnancy but I will make sure I convince you to stay afterwards. If you still feel the same after 9 months then it's fine. But I want to show you how much I need you" he says.

"And if I don't want to stay after the baby's born?" I question.

"I highly doubt that but when the time comes I won't stop you from going" he says calmly.

He pays the bill and we head out. I ring Daniel and ask him to bring some of my stuff to the house. It seems while I've been away Aidens moved yet again, this house is like the other but more bigger.

He has decorated it beautifully. It seems even grander.

"You moved?" I ask.

"Yeah I mean I really only brought the penthouse for you" he admits. " All your stuff is the same. I kept everything how you like it"

"I'm not sleeping in the same bed as you" I say.

He huffs as he leads me upstairs," Of course you are. That's not up for discussion. I need you in my bed. I'm going to shower so get comfortable"

He leaves me in a peaceful silence. Whilst he's showering,Daniel arrives. I explain everything and he nods. Once he's made sure I'm okay he leaves.

I trudge back upstairs and start to put my stuff away. Aiden walks out of the bathroom minutes later, completely naked.

I gasp and cover my eyes.

"Please like you haven't seen it all before" he says chuckling as he wraps a towel around his bottom half.

"Doesn't mean you can walk around naked" I say.

"Don't try to act innocent. Your pregnant with my child so your not exactly a virgin"

We seem to bicker for a while before we give up and I relax in the bed. The sheets seem unused and I briefly wonder if he's even slept in here.

Reading my mind he relaxes in the bed and says, " I haven't even slept in this bed yet. I tried but it seemed wrong without you. I promised myself I wouldn't sleep in here without you"

I turn on my side towards him, "The way we feel about each other's it's unhealthy. We are bringing a child into this, a innocent life. I've never really cared about your business but now I have to. You kill likes it's nothing, you run a underground high society for fucked up people.
Yet when you fell for me hard, I fell even harder. I'm afraid one of these days I'll hit the ground"

" I'll always be there to catch you" he says softly, he rubs my stomach. "You've given me something I haven't had in a long time. You've given me hope. Me and you we'll be okay, we always do and now we're having a baby. You, the baby.. your my life. When you left I was so angry with myself, I knew I should have let you go. You deserve way more, but I'm incredibly selfish".

I turned the lamp off,  " We are from different worlds, one day you'll realise that. But for now I'm tired so let's agree to disagree" I said yawning.

His dark blue eyes seem to say a thousand words. Turning on my side away from him I hear him switch the lamp off.

" I love you" he whispers as I let a stray tear roll down my face.

I wake up and somehow I'm entangled in Aiden. His arms entrap me while his legs are wrapped in mine. Groaning I try to get out but he just holds me tighter.

"Aiden" I whisper. He doesn't move a inch.
I try calling his name and moving him but he's fast asleep. I just lay there as I watch him sleep.

I must fall asleep again because when I wake up Aidens gone from the bed, instead he stands in front of me. Again naked.

"For god sake will you put it away, every time I see you you've got your junk out" I say.

He grins beautifully, " I just went for a run, I'm gunna have a shower. Care to join me?"

"Not really" I say as I get out of bed. He moves closer wrapping his arms around me.

"Come on, stop fighting me. We'll eventually end up in bed together so why not now" he says smiling at me lazily.

"Let me go Aiden, it's not funny" I say fidgeting.

"I'm giving you one chance, we can do this the easy way of the hard way"

"How about no way?" I reply.

He smiles with a glint in his eyes. "Okay let's do this the hard way".

He grabs my legs and throws me over his shoulder.

"Aiden put me down" I say annoyed.

"No can do baby girl" he says as he slaps my ass.

Opening the bathroom door he puts me down under the shower head and turns it on. The water soaks through my pyjama vest and shorts. The material clinging to my body.

He steps under the shower trapping me in. The water drips down his body as my breathing gets faster.

Moving closer his lips are inches away from mine. His eyes draw me in as he runs a finger down my neckline.

"Mine" he says "All mine"
