I started this back in probs March and It's May 1st now- just gonna be honest that Daycare Academy isn't as good as I wanted it to be, they've started pushing Olivecorn into the spotlight and kinda pushed Goldy to the side. AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T ADDED DAVE BACK D: I love the characters and the crazy adventures but the new episodes just lack. I might step away from Daycare because I don't like the new crap but idk. Updates to my Daycare books will be slower for a bit. thank you for your patience 💙

Dave came out of his room, seeming a bit more gloomy than normal. a lot more quiet, then I realized...

Danny...

Dave doesn't have Danny...

"Hey, have any of you seen Danny?" Dave called out. everyone shook their head no, Goldy and me gave him a confused expression. Dave frowned "I dunno where he is, he wasn't in my room or in the halls.."

Goldy's expression faltered into a sadder kind, "That's no good... how 'bout me, Ryan and Tina go out and try to find Danny?" Dave shrugged and mumbled a quiet 'sure' before heading out. Tina whined "Why'd you have to rope me in, Goldy??" "Because we're Dave's friends and because nothing is happening today, Uni could try and give us extra work!". to that, Tina rushed out of the door, off to find Danny.

~Time skippp~

Danny was no where, the kids had searched all across the property.. no sign of him...

Dave was the most hurt, all he wanted was Danny back and right now. most of the other kids had assumed either Danny had came back to his natural wild bird instincts and flown away or that he had gotten himself...killed......

Dave refused to listen to them... he had to have a good reason to leave him, he was really young... Unicorn entered the room, holding some papers that he just graded.  Ryan and Tina were talking while everyone minus Goldy and Dave were off doing normal kid things. "Just got finished grading these tests, what did I miss?" Tina spoke up for everyone "Danny is missing, we searched the entire property and Dave is depressed over it". Dave glared at her "Oh that's bad but he's a wild bird Dave, he must've flown away" "But Danny wouldn't, he's become a bit of a pet!" Dave argued.

"Dave, even I know he's a true wild bird. you have to let go!" Ryan exclaimed, Dave's eyes glossed a bit.

Something about Danny reminded him of his friend... the real Danny... I can't take another hit..

Dave groaned loudly and walked away, back into his dorm. Goldy watched, her and Dave has grown quite fawn of Danny and seeing him disappear hurt her as much as it hurt Dave. "You should've not said that, me and him love Danny too much to let him go... he was happy with us... Ryan, he protected you when the daycare was attacked and you just.. let him go?! there is something humane about him!" Goldy ranted then got up and stormed after Dave.

Dave opened his room door, closing it behind him as he leaned against the door and slid down to the floor. tears rolled down his face, his back arched with every inhale he took. first he lost the OG Danny and now he lost his friend Danny the bird... these facts weighed down onto him, he broke down more; grabbing onto his hair in a attempt to ground himself which of course didn't work. everything hurt, his head, heart, legs and arms mostly.

He stumbled towards his bed, flopping on it and looking up int the ceiling. Dave reached one of his shaking hands down to the bottom of under his bed, pulling out his guitar case. he lazily opened it, hands still shaking as he brought it to his chest.

He never knew how much he would need these sound proof walls, he didn't want everyone to know that he could play... or he was crying over his missing friends... yes, both of the Danny's were in mind.

Dave placed his beloved guitar back into the case as well as the pick, him crying himself to sleep

They were too good for this world...

I miss them...
