Third Person POV

IT Park

Vali sat in his van looking around lazily for Samy. It was Saturday and he knew very few people would be around, but he had no choice in the matter.

They knew Sami was working in one of the offices, but weren't sure which one. Also the day they saw Sami, some folks complained to cops about them, that his men were leereing at the girls and they had to abandon post and run, to evade arrest.

Since then, they had to change strategy and camp in their van on shifts, hoping to find Samy again, but so far they weren't successful. They didn't know that Samy took days off to prepare for her interview and hadn't been to office since that day.

Vali didn't fit the bill of a typical goon. He didn't like stalking girls or kidnapping them. He has two younger sisters and wouldn't want anyone doing the same things to them, he was about to do to Samy.

He was once a good person, a law abiding citizen. He came to the city hoping to find some work in line with his education, but couldn't find any. He was desperate to find work to support his family back home, but all the good jobs were taken up by people who had connections or had enough money to bribe.

After spending six months looking for work, he started loosing his cool and temperament. He started drinking and got into bar fights, slowly moving to the dark side. Someone referred him to Munna and he hired him immediately as a bodyguard as he was well built and wasn't afraid to get into fights.

He thought of getting out of the dark side after making some money, but he didn't realize he was getting deeper with every passing day. He had to compete within the mafia organization to prove his worth, but that meant beating up people and doing more and more illegal things. His hopes of getting out of the dark side looked impossible.

He was hoping, his boss Munna, would forget about the slashing incident with Sid and leave the couple alone, but that didn't happen and Munna was getting more and more desperate about Samy. There was no way he was going to give up on her without raping her and he had to deliver her to him, else, he would lose everything, maybe even his life.

There was no turning back for Vali. He was too deep into Mafia affairs. He realized it was one way street, any attempt to turn back would mean a death sentence.

He looked up and saw few people gathering on a street corner with backpacks. It looked like they were going on a trip, but there was no sign of Samy. Vali turned around and started scanning rest of the streets and by the time his view reached back to the street corner again, he saw Samy getting out of a Uber cab with a carry on suitcase.

"Atlast .. got her again. I won't leave you this time." He thought trying to think of a way to kidnap her.

There were too many people around her and he was alone. He decided to call his associates and started dialing them, pulling them into a conference call.

"Guys, quickly come over to IT park. We  got the girl." He shouted orders at them.

As Vali waited impatiently, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, looking straight at Samy, trying to keep her in his line of sight, a mini bus rolled  slowly rolled forward and stopped in front of the group, obstructing his view.

He quickly jumped out of the car and ran around the bus to see what was happening. He noticed the entire group along with Samy got onto the bus and it started leaving.

He quickly ran back to his car and raced onto the street, to catch up with the minibus. He wasn't sure where it was going, but he had no choice but to follow.

He quickly called up his associates again and asked them to stay online with him as he chased the bus and updated them with the route information.

They all discussed about the possibilities and agreed the destination to be Central Railway Station. Vali asked them to reach the Station as soon as possible, while he remained focused on not losing Samy and her group.

Vali abandoned the car in front of the Station and followed the group as they hurried towards platform 5. His kidnapping job was getting more complicated by the minute as Samy was moving fast with a group of people and into crowded areas.

Samy and her group boarded the train to Mysore. Vali had to make a decision. As his three associates, one by one, made it to platform 5, the train was leaving the platform.

Vali called his boss Munna for instructions.

"Dammit follow her, I don't care if you have to go through hell, but follow her and bring her to me. Call me when you have her, I will arrange for transport." Munna shouted.

"Yes Boss" Vali replied to Munna and jumped onto the running train with his associates following him.

Inside the Train

Samy and Uma sat together chatting and rest of the team was spread around them. They were all going for marriage.  Samy had no clue that Vali was following her and looking for a chance to kidnap and take her to Munna.

They all were sitting together and chatting about movies, when Samy suddenly burst the news, she was holding onto eagerly.

"Hey guys, I need your attention please .. I want to share an important news. I resigned yesterday!."

"What!?" Everyone gasped at the same time.

"I know this is very critical time for our group, but I got this great opportunity and had to go for it. Uma will take my place and I want all of you to give her your support. I will be close by and will always be available for any special occasion." Samy then went on and explained in detail about the projects and the company she was joining.

"Hey Sid went to the same company." Someone exclaimed.

"Really!" Samy acted as if she didn't know.

"Wish he was here, travelling with us." Bunty said, pursing his lips.

"Oh! He is joining us at the marriage venue." Uma replied.

Meanwhile Vali and his goons were planning their move, once they reach their destination.

Mysore Railway Station

Samy and her friends got off the train and started moving towards the exit.

Also Samira, Samy's cousin Sasi's friend,  was also on the same platform. She arrived from Goa and was on her way to Chennai, but her train got delayed by four hours and she was wondering how to kill time, when saw Samy and her friends moving towards the exit.

A little behind Samy were Vali and his two accomplices trying to rush through the crowd to reach Samy.

"Samy .. Samy " Samira shouted and rushed towards Samy.

At the same time Vali was also rushing towards Samy and tried to outrun Samira, by pushing her aside.

Samira recoiled and pushed him back forcibly and moved much faster towards Samy.

Vali without caring about Samira tried again to get in front of her.

Samira looked at Vali's face and thought the goon was chasing her.

"Samy .. Samy wait!", she screamed louder and increased her pace.

This drama continued for few seconds, till Samy heard her name and turned back. She saw Samira rushing towards her and three goons chasing behind her.

She immediately stopped and rushed towards Samira, almost catching her in a hug.

Samira immediately pointed towards the rushing goons with her eyes.

"Did they hurt you? Why are they chasing you?" Samy questioned Samira.

"He tried to grab me from behind .. don't know who they are .." Samira replied as Vali landed in front of Samy.

Vali didn't realize that a crowd was gathering around them and reached forward to grab Samy's hand.

Samy thought he was reaching forward to grab Samira. Samira recoiled back thinking the same.

"How dare you bastard?" Samy instead of recoiling, stepped forward and slapped Vali.

By the time Vali realized what happened Samy's friends piled on Vali and his accomplices and started hitting them. The crowd also joined in.

Soon the cops also rushed in. Seeing the situation was getting out of control, Vali and his accomplices pushed the crowd back and jumped onto the tracks and ran in the opposite direction to escape the crowd.

"Cowards .." Samira shouted as Samy introduced her to her friends.

"Samira, come with us to the hotel and I  will drop you back at your departure time." Samy pulled her towards the exit.

Samira went along with them, happy that she escaped from the thugs.

Samy didn't know that Vali came for her and not Samira.

After refreshing themselves in the hotel  room, Samy took Samira to the wedding hall downstairs and introduced her to Amar and Richa, the bride and groom. Along the way Samira updated Samy about Dr Kashyap and her new love life as Samy was the one who set them up, in her cousin Sasi's wedding.

Sid reached the wedding avenue earlier than Samy by flying into Mysore, rather than taking the train trip like others. He saw the group entering the wedding hall and came towards them eagerly.

"Hey guys! What took you so long?" He shouted hugging Basha khan and slapping Bunty's behind.

"Oh my God! Sid is here" Samira whispered to Samy, covering her mouth, stopping in her tracks, as Samy watched her face closely trying to interpret her reaction.
