Zeus POV

We started to head towards the woods until we were almost to the middle of the woods and we shifted into our wolves masking our scent so Derek wouldn't smell us, when it got completely dar we started to get near the tree line where we were able to see all of the people that had gone to the party. I saw Lupe talking to the people around her with a big smile on her face. I started to look for the children when Jordan nudged me and moved his head towards the water shore. They had matching colored clothing on which made me happy to see. When they turned around the boy had a shirt that said born first and the girl had a shirt that said he beat me out. It almost made me laugh, I looked at the guys as they moved their heads from one side to the other, I turned to look at them and I was able to see their ice blue eyes just like mine.

They started to walk towards us until Maria called them so they could go and blow out the candle, after they made their wish they blew the candle out and then cut the cake before getting a piece of cake and some ice cream. Maria, Lupe and Maria's mate were talking to each other when the twins went up to them and started to talk with them so I started to pay more attention to their conversation.

"So what you two little rascals wish for your birthday" Maria's mate asked

"For daddy to come back to us" the little boy who I now know is named Jose said

"Why would you wish for that" Maria asked

"Because we want our daddy back" the little girl who I now know is named Josefina said

"Oh my babies what can mommy do to make your smiles come back to your faces" Lupe asked

"Why did daddy leave us mommy" Jose asked

"Because he found someone else and he left to be with her" Maria said

"Is that true mommy" Josefina asked

"Yes it is sweety" Maria answered for Lupe

"Who wants to open presents" Maria's mate asked

I could tell that Lupe had gotten sad and I wanted to go and hug her, telling her it wasn't true that she was the only girl for me. They started to open their presents and when Lupe gave them their gifts from her, they opened the bag and then ran back to get the present out of the bag only to reveal a stuffed wolf with ice blue eyes just like my wolf and the wolf Lupe has tattooed on her back. They ran into the house and then came out and continued to play until Maria and her mate took them inside while Lupe started to clean the yard. At that moment we started to walk away so I could go and get ready to meet Lupe at the beach so we could talk.

We made it to the hotel and I took a shower as fast as I could and changed into some shorts and a tight t-shirt and my running shoes to appear like I had gone out for a run, I started to make my way out to the beach while the guys looked out their windows or most likely down from my balcony. When I made it to the lobby I started to run towards the boardwalk and then started to run towards the area where most likely Lupe would be but when I got there I didn't see Lupe so I started to run towards the boardwalk and then started to run back to the area where Lupe would be but before I got anywhere close Jordan mind linked me saying that she was already there sitting down on the beach watching the waves hitting the water. As I got closer I could see her and I started to slow down and walked up to her, when I was near I could hear her crying and I could see some tears falling from her beautiful eyes staining her cheeks.

I sat down next to her and looked at her as her tears kept rolling down her eyes. When she was about to get up I lifted up my hand and cleaned the tears off her left cheek. She stiffened up and then started to turn towards me until she was fully turned towards me, then very slowly she opened her eyes and we locked eyes. Both my wolf and I could see all the sadness in her eyes which made both of us sad seeing her like this, at that moment I couldn't hold myself anymore and I brought her to me making her lay her head on my chest crying while I held her in my arms not wanting to let her go ever. I held her until she stopped crying and then even though she wasn't crying I still held her in my arms, after awhile she started to shake her head and pulled away from me standing up and patting the sand off of her not letting me anywhere near her.
