Lupes POV

I got up early and headed to the beauty salon and opened up for the girls before leaving and reminding them about the twins party, I then headed to the store to pick up the cake and the ice cream for my babies. After putting the things in the car I headed to the house and I asked Maria if she could hide the cake and ice cream in their fridge so the twins wouldn't get into it like they did when they were one, after that I made their favorite breakfast and all three of us went up to wake them up.

When we got to their room they weren't there and I started to freak out, where could they be Maria came up to me and held me while Derek tried to smell them out. He then looked towards the closet and we all walked to the closet and saw that they were both fast asleep hugging their teddy bears, Maria grabbed Jose and I Josefina and placed them on their beds before we woke them up and wished them a happy birthday before taking them down to eat breakfast and started to get the house and backyard decorated for the party.

After breakfast Derek and two of his friends took the twins to the store to keep them out until we got the house ready for the party. It was getting dark outside when everybody started to arrive and helped us finish getting the last details put up for the party. While some were on the grills others were in the kitchen finishing the salads, mash potatoes, gravy and the yeast rolls. Once we were all ready Maria called Derek and told him to bring the kids back, about ten minutes later they arrived and were brought to the back yard where everybody screamed in surprise.

I walked up to them and gave them a tight hug and wished them a happy birthday before they ran off and went to play with their friends. I walked around talking to my friends and taking pictures of the party to put in their baby books. When it was time for the cake Derek and Maria went inside and brought the cake and ice cream and placed it on the table next to the presents. I went inside and got the number two candle and placed it on the cake before lighting it, we all sand happy birthday to the both of them and watched them blow the candle out before cutting it and placing a piece for each of them with some ice cream before we cut a piece for everybody else, when they had finished eating their ice cream and cake they went to take their plates to the trash and then came up to Derek, Maria and me.

"So what you two little rascals wish for your birthday" Derek asked

"For daddy to come back to us" Jose said

"Why would you wish for that" Maria asked

"Because we went our daddy back" Josefina said

"Oh my babies what can mommy do to make your smile come back to your faces" I asked

"Why did daddy leave us mommy" Jose asked

"Because he found someone else and he left to go be with her" Maria said

"Is that true mommy" Josefina asked

"Yes it is sweety" Maria answered for me

"Who wants to open presents" Derek asked

They started to open their presents and gave their thanks to everyone as they opened their presents, when they got to mine I waited to see how they would react when they opened it. As soon as they opened my present their eyes went wide with excitement, they took out their eyes went wide with excitement, they took out their stuffed wolf that looked just like the one I have tattooed on my back they always said that they wanted one ut the only thing close to what I could do was to get two made just like the one that I had tattooed. They ran towards me and I kneeled down to their eye level, they hugged me thanking me over and over again.

They ran back and hugged their stuffed wolf and then ran into the house and up to their room, then came back outside and kept playing around until the people started to leave. Maria and Derek took the twins inside and started to get them ready for bed while I started to clean the yard. By the time I was almost done cleaning Maria and Derek came out and told me to go on my walk that I always take after any special occasion.

As I walked on the beach I couldn't hold the tears anymore, after Jose and Josefina said that they wished their father would come back to us without them knowing that they had been in front of him not so long ago. I continued to walk on the beach until I got to the spot where I always sat down, as I looked at the moon shining on the water I closed my eyes and started hearing the waves crash on the shore while I let my tears fall down my face not caring who saw me all I wanted was for this pain to be gone for ever so I could move on. When I was about to get up and walk back to the house I felt someone wipe the tears from my face, I started to open my eyes slowly and I saw it was Zeus who was next to me.
