Lupes POV

It's been two months since we were reunited with mom and dad, we were now getting everything set up for the cookout where Zeus would announce me as his mate and Luna of the pack. We were also going to tell them that since my parents were the Alpha and Luna of the Morningstar Pack and I am supposed to be the next Alpha we were thinking of joining both packs and making just one, although we haven't seen or heard from Trisha since I beat her in the fighting ring I was always on high alert because I didn't know what she was up to.

My parents and their pack arrived at our pack lands and we all started to get to know each other. Both packs were getting along so well. Some even found their mates in my parents pack which was so nice to those who didn't have a mate finally have one. Felipe and Jordan also found their mates who came out to be two of my childhood friends. They were talking when I started to hear a lot of paws pounding on the forest floor and told everybody to get into a fighting position. While some were getting into fighting positions others were helping get the kids, mothers and elderly people into the safety of the pack house.

"What is going on, why do you want us in a fighting position" Felipe asked

"There are at least fifty to sixty wolves heading this way" I said

"How do you know that" dad asked

"I can hear their paws hitting the forest floor they are at least five to ten minutes away from getting here" I said

"But how can you hear them when they are so far away from us" Zeus asked

"There almost here, some from the left the rest from in front of us" I said

At that moment some of the fighters and warriors turned to the left and the rest were ready to attack in front of us, at that moment all the rouges came out from the forest and infront of all of them were Trisha and Lucifer.

"What do you want here" Zeus asked

"Well we are here to talk with my brother and niece of course"

Lucifer said

"What do you want with us" my father asked

"Well I want my Alpha title back and my daughter wants her mate back" Lucifer said

"And who is supposed to be her mate" I asked

"Well Zeus is my mate" Trisha said

"Wow you really don't get it, he isn't your mate he is my mate and the father of our four children" I said

"No you only have two kids" Trisha said

"Not for long" Zeus said as he placed his hands on my belly kissing my neck

"How could you do this to me, you are my mate not hers" Trisha said

"Get it through your thick head that I am not your mate, your mate is somewhere out there go find him and let us be" Zeus said

"NO" Trisha yelled as she lifted up a gun

"Put the gun down now Trisha I don't want to hurt you" I said

"What are you going to do about it" Trisha said

"Get back now" I said as I turned to look at everybody behind me

"No, we are standing by your side all the way" Zeus said

"I don't want to hurt any of you, please get back" I said

When I heard them all step back I closed my eyes and allowed my wolf to take control and shifted into my white wolf, which hurt like hell but I was doing what I had to do to protect my family and friends. When Trisha, Lucifer and everyone else saw that I had shifted into my wolf, they stood in awe. I stood up tall showing off how proud I was of myself. I took several steps towards Trisha and Lucifer but before any of them could do something towards me I let my wolf take full control of our body.

Once she was in full control she attacked them killing them all by herself, she was so proud of herself and happy to be free and be able to do something that she always wanted to do and that was to feel the dirt under her paws and be able to run after being in lock down for so many years. After she walked up to Zeus she shifted back into human form she raised our hand to touch him before she started to lose her strength and fell on our knees, good thing Zeus saw us falling and was able to hold us so we wouldn't hit the floor hard and looked at his eyes before she closed our eyes and we were in complete darkness.
