Lupes POV

It's been one month and I haven't heard anything from Zeus, even though I have called him and left several messages until one day the operator said that the phone was no longer in service. At that moment I knew that I would never see him again which brought tears to roll down my face, for the past two weeks I haven't been feeling good and I have been throwing up every morning so today after I pick up Maria we are going to go see our doctor and see what could be going on with me. I went to pick up Maria from school and then went to my doctor appointment, when we got there I signed in and we waited until I was called in to the back where a nurse took us to a room and said that the doctor would be with me in a minute.

"Well Lupe what brings you to see me today" Dr. Rogers asked

"I haven't been feeling well for the past two weeks and I have been

throwing up every morning" I said

"I told her she might be pregnant but she will not believe me" Maria said

"Is there a chance that you could be pregnant Lupe" he asked

"You know my periods are so irregular so I honestly don't know" I said

"Have you been intimate with anyone in the past month or so" he asked

"Yes" I answered

"Did he use protection" he asked

"I don't remember" I answered

"Okay so we will be drawing some blood and I will be able to have an answer for you within a few minutes how does that sound" he

asked

"That sounds fine" I answered

He went out of the room and came back with everything he would be needing to draw blood from my arm then left, my sister was on the phone texting her friend while I was trying to stay calm. After what seemed like forever Dr. Rogers came in with a machine and placed it next to the examination table where he asked me to sit on, he then grabbed his clip board and started to read the papers that were on it before looking at me with a serious face that I could not read.

"Well it seems you are pregnant and I would like to do an ultrasound to see how your baby is developing" he said

"Sure" I said

"Okay lay down and lift up your shirt, I will be placing this gell that will allow me to use the ultrasound machine to see your baby okay" he asked

"Okay" I answered

"It seems your having twins" he said

"TWINS" both me and Maria said at the same time

"Yeah and it seems that your having a healthy pregnancy so far" he said

"How along am I" I asked

"About a month, I would like to see you in another month to see

how your pregnancy is going" he said

"Okay" I said

When he finished he gave us some pictures of the ultrasound of the twins and we left, while we were heading to the house I didn't know what to do I couldn't get ahold of Zeusto be able to tell him that I was pregnant but then I thought he maybe didn't care about me since he didn't answer my calls or text messages and changed his number or blocked me so I couldn't get ahold of him. When we got home I went directly to the living room and sat on the sofa. Maria came in sitting next to me and grabbed my hand in hers and we stayed like that for a while until I broke the silence.

"Let's move away from here" I said

"And where would we go" Maria asked

"We can go to Texas and start from zero" I said

"Fine but you have to let me get a tattoo before we go" she said

"Deal" I said

She ran up the stairs while I got my laptop and wrote my resignation notice for my job, then started to look for a house in Texas with enough room for all four of us. I found a house near the beach and I showed it to Maria who fell in love with it. It had four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room and a small office. I called the real estate and told him that I wanted the house that was up for sale by the beach and that I could transfer the money right now to which he gave me all the information for me to transfer the money and he asked me for my information to start the paperwork so when I got to Texas I would just have to sign them and the house would be mine, I told Maria to start packing her stuff while I went to work and gave my resignation letter to my boss.

When I got there he wasn't in his office so I left the resignation letter on his desk but when I was turning I saw a picture that I had not seen before, I walked up to the picture and it was of Zeus with Mr. De La Vega together and at the bottom it said family forever. I couldn't believe what I had read and I walked out of his office heading to my desk and started to pack all my stuff in a box before leaving the company, on my way out I went back and left my company badge on top of the resignation letter as well and left heading to my house after stopping by the high school to tell them that we were moving and I needed to transfer papers for Maria so I could sign her up to another school where we will be going to move to.
