Ryobo's POV ❄️

After what felt like time was going slowly, a female chipmunk scientist came in the room and walked over to the bed that I was lying in.

"Good evening...My name is Yura." She says, her voice smooth as silk, before pulling up a chair to sit down on. "For the next few hours, I will be your 'doctor' for the time being."

I didn't say anything after she said that.

"So, how are you feeling today?" Yura asks.

"Like a million dollars..." I answered sarcastically before rolling my eyes.

Without saying anything and ignoring my sarcasm, Yura just wrote something down on her clipboard.

"Any weird feeling in your body?" She questioned.

"No. I just feel different. It's an indescribable feeling, to make it short and put it that way." I replied.

"I see..." Yura says before smirking as she wrote something down on her clipboard again. "If you don't mind, I'm gonna take your temperature."

Again, I didn't say anything after she said that and I just allowed her to do so.

Then Yura pulled out a thermometer, inserted it in my mouth, and putted it under my tongue.

After waiting for a few seconds, the thermometer started to beep before Yura took it out and looked at the temperature.

"Huh...It's normal. Good." She says to herself before writing my temperature down.

For a while, Yura was asking me questions that were and weren't medical related, before she pulled out a needle and injected something into my neck.

"N...No. Not this...again..." I mumbled as I immediately felt drowsiness already kicking in while my body started to feel numb.

Then I heard Yura chuckling as I tried to fight the drowsiness and stay awake.

"Thanks, that's all I needed to know..." I heard her say before I slumped a little.

However, just before everything went black and I was about to fall asleep, I could've sworn I heard an alarm go off.

Sonic's POV 💎

-Earlier-

After hearing the news from Ichika that Ryobo went missing and that his little brother, Itachi, was joining the resistance, we welcomed him with open arms and gave him his first mission once we found where Ryobo was located at.

And that mission is to look for Ryobo once we immediately break into the base.

Simple and easy as that, right?

But, boy was I wrong...

It was really hard and tough.

Surprisingly, we managed to pull through from all of that and found Ryobo in a medical room, knocked out, while he was lying in the bed.

While Itachi was busy unhooking Ryobo from the IV, including a few other things and what not, I found Ryobo's clothes, footwear, and belongings in the bathroom before I putted his clothes, footwear, and small belongings in Itachi's backpack.

As for Ryobo's katana, Itachi just putted it on his left hip, so not only would things be easier on me, but I wouldn't have to carry it around while I'm running.

After double checking to see if we've forgotten anything, we both nodded before escaping with Ryobo in our arms.

"Everyone, we found and got Ryobo! And Team Chaotix? Mind getting our shuttle ready?" I say through the communicator.

"No problem, Sonic!" Vector replies before we signed off.

Quickly, as the both of us could go, me and Itachi hurried over to our designated spot before getting in the shuttle once Team Chaotix arrived with it.

Once we were sure that we got everyone, we all headed back to the resistance, happy that our rescue mission was a success and that Ryobo was back in our arms again.

Even though we already knew that he's currently knocked out in the meantime, at least he's alive and okay.

During the ride back, I noticed that Itachi has been keeping Ryobo close.
