Ichika's POV 🌹

"Where could he be?! We've been searching for hours, trying to find Ryobo!" I say as I looked both ways worriedly.

"I don't know, but, I'm worried sick about him too, Ichika." Gadget replies.

"Hmph...For a wolf who's albino, he sure is pretty fast and good at hiding."

I didn't say anything as I sighed a bit, despite the fact that my mind's too focused on Ryobo right now, for me to even bother arguing with Zero about his attitude.

"Huh? What's that?" Gadget went after he suddenly noticed something on the ground before picking it up, revealing the two things that must've fell off of Ryobo.

My eyes suddenly widened in horror after seeing Ryobo's necklace, before I took the necklace to examine it.

"Th-This has got to be a mistake, an illusion, or a prank...R-Right?" I stuttered as I began trembling a bit in fear.

"I don't think so. But...Why? What's wrong?" Gadget questioned.

"Oh sweet Master Emerald, this is really bad..." I continued, not answering his question.

"Are you gonna tell us or what? We don't have all day, damn it!" Zero says in annoyance.

Right after he said that, that's when I looked over at Zero and Gadget, feeling completely terrified.

"You both know how Ryobo wears this necklace around with him at all times?" I asked.

Zero and Gadget nodded their heads in response to that.

"Yeah? What of it?" Zero says.

"Ryobo was never supposed to take it off. No matter what." I say before giving Zero and Gadget a serious look.

"Why?" Gadget asked.

"Because Ryobo's inner demon will consume him by taking full control over his body." I replied.

"So, what? Everyone has their own inner demons." Zero snorted before rolling his eyes.

"I'm glad you think it's funny and that you're not taking it seriously, Mr.Smartass..." I growled as I looked over at Zero with an irritated tone in my voice.

Then Zero and I gave each other a death stare.

"How is it that bad?" Gadget asks, breaking mine and Zero's attention away from each other.

"If Ryobo isn't wearing the necklace, and his inner demon takes full control of his body...

Ryobo will lose control and go on a killing spree on the citizens of Sunset Heights, out of cold-blood. And he won't stop or show any mercy until everyone is dead." I answered.

Then Zero and Gadget's faces turned pale after hearing that.

"You can't be serious..." Zero says.

"Do I look like I'm joking around?" I replied as I gave him a look, showing that I wasn't kidding.

Gadget could only stand there, feeling really worried and scared at the same time.

"It's best to inform the resistance about this. They need to know what's going on, so, they can not only help us. But, Ryobo as well..." I continued. "We need all the help we can get..."

Zero and Gadget nodded.

"Luckily, I'm about to get in contact with someone I know, who has the information of what we need about Ryobo. He'll be joining the resistance since he wants to help as well."

"Who?" Gadget asked.

"Ryobo's little brother, Itachi the jackal." I answered simply.

"Ryobo's little brother? I didn't even know he had a sibling, including the fact that Itachi's a jackal..." Zero commented as he had a small surprised look on his face.

"Well, can you blame them? Ryobo and Itachi are both hybrids...It's just their looks that gives it away." I mentioned.

Then I pulled up a hologram of Ryobo and Itachi's data files from the communicator that's on my wrist, so Gadget and Zero can have a look.

"See?" I said as I pointed before closing the files and getting in touch with Itachi.

Afterwards, we hurried off to the resistance.
