I'm insolent for the rest of the world, not for you... I have nothing to do with this world...

She looked at him with her painful smile to which he caressed her cheeks gently and continued speaking.

"Since childhood, I've noticed that the people we lose never come back...

Never leave me like our eomma did, sis.."

He verbalized his deepest, darkest fear to her. He cannot bear yet another loss. His eyes and his voice were weary, tired, he has lost enough but not anymore. He cannot take any more damage. He cannot see his sis hurt and unhappy, he cannot stand to lose her.

With a break in his voice and his eyes trembling with tears. A man, who never lets his guard down, who never shows he is weak but today all his weaknesses, insecurities and fears are out in the open for all to see. The comfort and safety that one feels in the presence of mom... that is what he is looking for, and his sis is the only one who can make him feel safe.

She cupped his face and reassured him, that she will always be there for him. Perhaps Jisoo is beginning to gauge his state of mind, the terror in him...

"If you want then scold me, hit me, kill me...

He was whimpering, sobbing while Jisoo shooked her head wanting to reassure him but his next words ached her heart badly.

but don't ever leave me and go away like eomma did..."

Eomma, a nightmare recurred, a little boy in a house of mirrors, mirrors shattered... big bad arrogant Kim Taehyung, within his fragile tender heart, he placed trustingly only in his Sis's care.

She instantly hugged him tightly while sobbing in his embrace, he too hugged her tenderly. After a few minutes, she let go of the hug and looked at him tenderly. She wiped the fallen tears from his cheek and cupped his cheeks tenderly while smiling and replied to his statement.

"I'll never leave you Tae..."

He nodded and again hugged her.

"Tae, but how did you know I was here..?"

She asked him before breaking the hug.
He remembered about Jungkook and looked back. Jisoo looked at him and then in the direction where he was looking, where she caught the sight of her younger brother, Jungkook.

"Kookie..!!" She beamed happily and opened her arms for him to which he came to her happily and hugged her gently.

"Noona, we're so tense when we couldn't find you at the mansion. Please never do this..please never leave us."

He spoke before breaking the hug to which she nodded her head.

"Shall we go now,sis.."

Taehyung asked her softly to which she cutely nodded whereas both brothers smiled at their elder sister's cuteness.

At Seoul hospital,

"Mumma, how did this happen?" You asked your mother but she just shrugged her shoulder and answered,

"When I was cooking for dinner suddenly I got a call from the hospital and they told me he got into an accident and I don't know how all this happened also, we can't even ask him right now because of his jaw injury." You nodded at her response.

"Mumma, I'll be quitting my last month of college." You asserted and looked down to your lap fiddling your fingers.

"Are you out of your mind Y/n? Why do u want to quit..huh?" She glared at you not liking the idea.

"Mumma, I wanna help you because I don't want to be a burden to you in these times." You concurred, holding her palm smoothly with yours.

"Who said you are a burden, Y/n-ahh? I won't allow you to work even though we don't have enough money for hospital bills. I'll work instead of you..understand..?"

She announced making you sigh.

"No mumma I'll do work and soon I'm going to apply for a job. You said you'll do the job but then who will take care of papa when he'll need you, and that's the end of the discussion. I'm going home now, I'll come later."

"But Y/n-ahh--"

"No mumma this time I will not listen to you." You dictated and soon walked out from there making your mother sigh at your stubbornness.

After 1 hour,

You came back home from the hospital and went inside your bedroom and sat down on your bed, pondering what all things happened in these few hours.

You shooked your head and went inside the bathroom to take shower. After 15 minutes, you came out of the shower in your bathrobe and stood towards your bathroom mirror where you found the hand print marks on both the side of your shoulder, you touched it and soon hissed at the sudden pain.

"That heartless bitch..ugghhh"

You sighed and took your last night's clothes and put them in the washing machine then suddenly you remembered something.

"Ohh...Jimin-shii's coat, where it is?...ahh got it."

You took them from the basket of clothes and looked at it while cutely giggling to yourself.

"Let me wash it too, then I'll go to his office and by this way, I can meet him too..hehe"

You smirked, flipping your hair at your build-up intelligence.

You came out of your bathroom still wearing the bathrobe and then walked to your closet to choose your outfit for today.

(Your outfit)

You entered your kitchen and started making pancakes for yourself. After a few minutes, you were done with the pancakes and hurriedly started eating because you were getting impatient to meet him aka your lover boy. After completing your breakfast, you took the Jimin's coat from your balcony, folded it properly and then kept it in your bag.

"Now it's all done...let's gooo.."

You beamed excitedly and went out of your room, you locked your house and left from there to Park Industry.

Within 1/2 hour, you reached Park Industry and an unknowingly smile appeared on your face. You looked towards the building, admiring it after all it has been 5 months since you came here.

You walked inside the building and went to the reception area which was present across the lobby as you knew each and every area of his company.

"Hello ma'am, how can I help you..?" The receptionist girl asked you while staring at you but you just shrugged it off.

"Umm...I came to meet Mr Park. Is he free right now..?" You politely stated as a manner of respect.

"Oh.. do you have an appointment?" She again inquired you to which you shooked her head as no.

"Then you can't meet him." She sternly spoke which annoyed you a little.

"At least tell him I am here to meet him.." You remarked to her to which she nodded her head and dialled his secretary's number.

After confirming with his secretary, she told you to wait in his office as he was attending the meeting right now to which you nodded and walked in the direction of his office followed by her.

"You can sit here, I'll inform you when he'll be out of his meeting room." She stated, you hummed at her statement and sat down on the couch across his office table.

"Bitch" The receptionist mumbled to herself but you heard it which angered you.

"I heard you miss." You glared at her making her nervously smile at you and soon she hurriedly went out from there.

You were waiting for him for 15 minutes but he didn't show up yet which annoyed you as hell as you didn't have anything to do. You looked around his office room and found a magazine on his table, so you stood up from your place and then took it from the table going back to sit on the couch. You were going through the pages of the magazine but suddenly you felt someone's footsteps near the door which made you smile as you knew whose footsteps it must be.

You stood back at his office door to hide as you wanted to give him a surprise even though he knew about your presence but still you wanted to do as you find it interesting. The door handle unclasped to which the door opened and you came to the person and then,

"BHOOOO"

You laughed but stopped when you saw the man standing there was not Jimin-shii but someone else. You nervously smiled at him and bowed multiple times to him as an apology. You gazed at him where you found he was smirking at you even though he wore a mask but still you could feel it but you just shrugged it not thinking much.

"I'm sorry mister. I thought it was Mr Park...so did this to surprise him." You bowed apologizing to him which made him come near towering you while looking down at you as if you were shorter than him.

"Well, I like this... Senorita.." He replied, but this senorita word you don't know but it felt somehow similar like you have heard it before and the same goes for his voice. You again looked at him more like staring as you wanted to identify who he is..

"Senorita, I know I'm handsome but you should stop staring. It's not a good behaviour." He smirked which made you immediately look down nervously and asked him the question which was going through your mind.

"Mister, do I know you.. or have we met before..?"

You nervously asked him which made him chuckle and replied,

"Yes.. you know me very well and we even met before.."

You instantly looked at him when he removed his mask from his face and you remembered him. He was the same man in the club who accused you.

"You... what are you doing here..?"

You glared at him which he just ignored and sat down on the couch and grab the magazine which you were reading before. You were was again going to ask him again but again the door opened revealing...

"Ohh..Melon, what are you doing here." Jimin asked you but you got hurt by his question as you wanted him to hug you and say "I'm happy that you're here." But you just shrugged it and looked down to your feet.

"Aren't you happy to see me here Jimin-shii?" You muttered, fiddling your fingers in nervousness.

"No, it's not like that..I'm just surprised to see you here and also happy that you're smiling now."

You smiled at his statement and looked at him nodding your head cutely making him smile too. You then remembered about the coat, so you went back to the couch where Jungkook was playing on his phone but you ignored him and grabbed your bag going toward Jimin.

"I came here to give you your coat, Jimin-shii." You handed him the coat, and he smiled at you and took it gladly.

"Have you eaten your breakfast?" He worryingly questioned to which you smiled and nodded agreeing to it.

"Hyung, I'm also here..can't you see me..?"

Jungkook annoyingly spoke making Jimin glare at him.

"Shouldn't you be apologizing to her, Jungkook..huh?" Jimin reminded him.

So, his name is Jungkook hmmm..quite familiar and similar though.

"And why should I? I have already told that it was just a mistake." Jungkook sternly replied to which he just sighed and looked at you.

"I'm okay..Jimin-shii. Let it be and I should get going now." You adorably smiled and hugged him, he hugged you back and soon you walked out from there.

"She is Lee Y/n right?" Jungkook asked when he saw you getting out of Jimin's office.

"How do you know? I never told you." He was confused because after they came back he didn't tell them about you.

Jungkook chuckled when he saw Jimin's questioned gaze.

"You think she being close to brother and he won't recognize her. Last night brother recognized his angel at the club." He asserted standing up from the couch.

"I see." Jimin nodded.

"Hyung, I wanna remind you something." Jimin looked at him confused and nodded his head to continue further.

Jungkook stood in front of him and spoke looking straight into Jimin's eyes.

"I hope you didn't forget the reason why you are allowed to be near her."

After listening to his words, Jimin's face turned pale knowing the reason pretty well. He averted his gaze away from Jungkook and replied,

"I know." He simply replied.

"Good thing. Well.. hyung, today Noona is throwing a party for us as we came back after 10 years, so I came here to invite you." He gave him the card.

"Okay, I'll be there." He replied taking the card in his hand.

"I should get going now. Meet you at the party." He asserted making Jimin furrow his eyebrows.

"But you just came now, at least have breakfast with me." He insisted whereas Jungkook just shooked his head as a no.

"I'm sorry, hyung but I can't as I've to pick up appa and eomma from the airport." He replied where Jimin nodded his head as a response.

"Okk then, bye." Jungkook said and left from there while wearing his mask again.

When you were out of the Park Industry, you decided to go to the grocery store as you had to buy a few things from there for tonight's dinner.

You were going inside the grocery store but suddenly you got bumped by someone.

"I'm sorry miss." The lady apologized to you.

"No..no, it's fine." You spoke to which she nodded her head and looked at you but she furrowed her eyebrows which confused you a little.

"Have we met before, miss..?" She politely asked you but just shooked your head 'no' as a response.

"I thought I've seen you somewhere, nevermind let's go." She smiled making you smile back at her.

"So, what's your name dear..?" She asked looking at you.

"Y/n." You replied whereas she looked shocked after hearing your name.

"You mean Lee Y/n." She hesitantly spoke which made you nod at her but she froze at her place which confused you.

"What happened, ma'am..? Are you ok..? And how do you know my name..?" You politely asked her.

"It's Jisoo..and I'm completely fine. I just guessed and see it's correct..hehe.." She replied nervously obviously lying to you.

"Ohh.. yes" You acknowledged her and started searching for ingredients which you needed for dinner.

"Ms Y/n, can I ask you something..?" She politely inquired.

''Yes..you can." You passed her your smile.

"Are you from Daegu..?" She asked, making you nod.

"Ohh..nice to meet you Ms Y/n, and I'm too from Daegu." She smiled cheerfully.

"That's nice.." You spoke where she nodded.

"It's my first time living here in Seoul and it has been only two days since I'm here. I don't even know anyone except my brothers' friends. I don't even have a single female friend, so would you like to be my friend." She nervously asked you but you just chucked and held her palms with yours and replied,

"Sure...and why not."

She happily smiled and hugged you. You giggled at her cute action and hugged her back.

"Y/n, can you tell me which restaurant has the best Daegu cuisine as I needed to hire a chef for tonight's party..." She spoke looking through the vegetables which were placed on the rack.

You took this as your chance as you know how to cook Daegu cuisine.

"I know how to cook them as I've learned them from my mumma because she used to work in a big restaurant when she was young, so I can help you with this if you agree." You spoke, fiddling your fingers hoping she would agree to you.

"That's awesome Y/n. I'm agreeing to you." She beamed.

"Thank you so much..I'm so happy right now." You spoke with your teary eyes as you were so much in need to get money for your father's treatment bills.

"Aishhh...don't say thank you since I'm your friend now." She glared, wiping the tears.

"So, when I'll have to go there and what's the address of your destination of the party?" You politely asked.

"You can come at 5 in the evening and about the destination.. it's my mansion. Y/n give me your phone, I'll give you my number." She spoke, extending her hand. You handed her your phone, she took it and typed her number and gave your phone back.

"I should get going now as I've to prepare many things and about the address I'll send you soon before 5."
She bowed and left the grocery store after paying.

"She is rich but her attitude doesn't match it. I guess all rich people are not rude and arrogant, some are sweet and caring too like Jimin-shii and Jisoo." You mumbled to yourself.

After getting everything you needed, you paid the bill and immediately left from there to your house excitedly.

At your house,

You came back from the grocery store but halted in your steps when you found the door of your house wasn't locked. It must be mumma..

You opened the door and went inside after putting your shoes on the rack.

"Heyyyoooo...Y/n-iieee"

"Minjee, you startled me." You spoke, keeping the palm on your chest where your breathing rate increased.

"Ohhh..sorry" She nervously smiled.

"But how you came inside." You inquired, sitting on the sofa after putting the groceries on the table across you.

"Ahh..that..actually I went to hospital but I didn't find you so I asked Aunty and then she gave me the spare key to the house." She answered and sat beside you.

"Y/n, Aunty told me that you are quitting college. Is it true?" Minjee asked with a calm voice making you nod.

"Yes Minjee, I'm quitting college because I want to help my parents now. Also, we have to pay the hospital bills so, I'll be finding jobs from tomorrow." You answered looking at your ceiling.

"Well I'll support you...don't worry." Minjee smiled at you.

"I know that Minjee. Do u know I got a chance to show my talent in cooking by becoming a chef at a party and I would like you to accompany me there because I don't want to feel lonely there." You spoke looking at her with your sparkling eyes.

"Sure..I'll accompany you." She agreed nodding.

"Thank you Minjee-ah." You cheerfully thanked her.

"Hmm...but Y/n about the job..why don't you ask this to Jimin-shii. I know he'll help you if you'll tell him and even you can get a job in his company as he's the CEO of Park Industry." She suggested you whereas you sighed at her words.

"No, I don't want to. Because I know he'll easily accept me when I'll tell him about this which I don't want. Also, I don't want people to taunt me that I got the job because of their boss and say that I'm not eligible to work there. That's why I'll try to find a job where people won't taunt me, and gladly accept me." You honestly explained your worries to her

"Ok..I got it." Minjee smiled understanding you.

"Ok then, now let's make soup for papa and lunch for mumma then we'll go to the hospital." You asserted and went inside the kitchen with a grocery bag in your hands.

"Wait for me...Y/n-ahh." Minjee whined
making you chuckle at her cuteness.

At Kim's Mansion,

"Aunty... Uncle, I missed you." Jisso hugged them.

"We both missed you too Jisso, my daughter." Mrs Jeon spoke to her before breaking the hug.

"Now, let's sit." Jungkook stated while handing the luggage to the maids.

"Ohhh..yes, but where is Taehyung..?" Mr Jeon asked Jungkook.

"He'll be here at any time now." Jungkook replied and sat beside his mom.

"Well, he's here." Mr Jeon spoke when he saw Taehyung coming inside the mansion with his bodyguards.

"Ohh..Taehyung, you became so big and handsome." Mrs Jeon complimented him and hugged him.

"Hmmm.."

"Heyy...it's my turn...go go.." Mr. Jeon said and made Mrs. Jeon detached from Taehyung's hug. She made an annoyed face and moved back.

"My son, how are you..?" Mr. Jeon smiled and hugged him.

"I'm good, uncle." He simply replied to which Mr. Jeon nodded and moved back.

"Eomma and appa, your room is ready. You should relax now." Jungkook spoke making them nod at him. They went to their rooms followed by a maid who was showing them the direction.

"Noona, have you prepared all the things for the party?" Jungkook asked her where she just nodded and answered,

"Yes, I've prepared all the things and also a beautiful chef."

"Ok..then." Jungkook said.

Taehyung came and sat beside Jisoo while a maid handed him the glass of water.

"Tae.." Jisoo called him.

"Hmmm..?"

"Do you know today I made a female friend.." She beamed her smile making him look at her in disbelief.

"So.."

"Do you know what's her name..?" She asked him with a smirk.

"I'm not interested in knowing her name, sis."

He sternly spoke and stood up from his sofa to go to his room but with her next words, he felt the world around him stop.

"Lee Y/n...."
