"How dare you motherfucker..?? Who fucking gave you the consent to stare at her, you fucking jackass.." He growled, his eyes blazing with fury.

The other passengers gasped in shock as Taehyung stood over Jimin, his eyes blazing with anger.

"I-I'm sorry, Taehyung," He stammered, his voice filled with guilt. "I didn't mean to-"

"You didn't mean to what?" Taehyung interrupted, his voice cold and unforgiving.

"You didn't mean to fall for her? To betray my trust? To forget that you promised to protect her in my absence?"

Jimin's eyes filled with regret as he realized the gravity of his actions. He had indeed fallen for you, despite knowing the fact that you can never be his. But he couldn't help it. You had captured his heart in a way he never thought possible.

"Taehyung, I-I was just... I was just looking at Y/n's picture. I miss her, that's all." He uttered and tried to remove Taehyung's hold from his collar.

"Who gave you the right to stare at what belongs to me?" He growled, his voice low and dangerous.

Jimin hung his head, unable to meet Taehyung's gaze.

"I'm sorry, Taehyung," He repeated, his voice filled with sorrow.

"I never meant for this to happen. I never meant to fall in love with her."

Taehyung's eyes narrowed and a mocking chuckle left his mouth as he peered at Jimin.

"Love? Don't be ridiculous. Love is just a foolish emotion that clouds judgment. I've protected her all this time, and I won't let you ruin that."

Jimin's fists clenched at his sides as he listened to his words. He pushed Taehyung with all his strength and retorted back,

"You may not believe in love, Taehyung, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist."

Taehyung's jaw clenched as he fought to control his temper. The two men stood facing each other, the tension between them palpable. Taehyung knew that Jimin was right in some ways, but he couldn't bring himself to admit it. Love was a foreign concept to him.

"She's mine. Keep that in your head."

Jimin's eyes flashed with anger when he listened his words.

"She's not a possession, Taehyung. She's a person with her own feelings and desires. You can't just come back and expect her to fall into your arms."

He continued, "It would be better you stay away from her if you don't have intentions to make her fall in love with you. Don't ruin her life if you can't provide a basic need; to be loved."

Taehyung's jaw clenched as he listened to Jimin's words felt, a surge of jealousy and possessiveness washed over him. He had never been good at sharing, especially when it came to you. He had always been closed off, afraid to let anyone get too close. But he had always cared for you, in his own way. Love was a foreign concept to him, something he had never experienced, something he didn't understand.

"You don't know what you're talking about, Jimin," Taehyung spat, his voice cold and harsh.

He continued as he daringly looked into Jimin's eyes,

"You think you know what's best for her? You're wrong. You're just like everyone else, thinking they can change me, thinking they can make me feel something I don't want to feel. I'm incapable to even feel these emotions."

Jimin's eyes filled with tears as he listened to Taehyung's words. He knew that Taehyung was hurting, that he was scared of losing you. But he also knew that Taehyung cared for you, that he had protected you from the very beginning. He just didn't know how to show it, how to express his emotions.

"You're wrong, Taehyung," Jimin whispered, his voice breaking.

"You're not incapable of love. You just don't know how to let it in. But I believe in you, Taehyung. I believe that you can change, that you can learn to love. I believe you will fall for her or maybe you already did but you just don't know. Take your time and work on these feelings."

Before Taehyung could respond, Jimin turned and walked away, leaving Taehyung seething with anger and frustration.

Soon, he recieved a call from his secretary which made his anger to rise up after listening what the other person delivered.

"Damn it!"

At your house,

You woke up to the sound of your alarm blaring in your ear. You groaned and rolled over, burying your face in your pillow. The events of last night came flooding back to you - the date with Jimin, the confession of his lack of feelings for you, and the painful realization that your brief relationship was over before it even began.

You sighed briefly and forced yourself to sit up, running a hand through your tangled hair. You knew you had to move on, but it was easier said than done. Jimin had been your friend for years, and you had always secretly hoped that your friendship would turn into something more.

You sighed and forced yourself to sit up, pushing aside the thoughts of Jimin that threatened to consume you. Today was not the day to dwell on lost love. Today, your parents needed you. But there was also another reason to get out of bed. Today was your first day at your job. But before that you needed to do something very important so you looked at the table to your left.

You gently opened the drawer of the table beside your bed, your hands trembling slightly as you reached for the familiar object inside. Your fingers wrapped around the worn photoframe, and you carefully lifted it out, cradling it in your palms.

The photo within was old and worn, the edges burnt and frayed, but the faces that gazed back at you were still unmistakable. Your heart swelled with emotion as you gazed at the image of your biological parents, their smiles and eyes shining through the damage.

You didn't remember your childhood, but your Papa had told you that when he first met you, you'd clutched this very photo in your small hand. That's how he knew they were your parents. You'd treasured this frame ever since, holding onto the memories it represented, even if they were lost to you.

As you looked at the photo, a tender smile spread across your face. "Today's my first day of work," you whispered, your voice barely audible. "I hope you're watching over me, blessing me from above." Your eyes welled up with tears, but they were happy tears, mixed with a sense of determination and hope.

You felt a sense of connection to them in this moment, as if they were with you, guiding you toward this new chapter in your life. You held the frame close, feeling their love and support emanating from the faded image.

With a resolute nod, you placed the frame back in the drawer, but their faces lingered in your mind, inspiring you to make them proud.

You got out of the bed and made your way to the bathroom, splashing cold water on your face to wak yourself up. You looked at your reflection in the mirror and gave yourself a pep talk.

"You can do this, Y/n," You said, looking at your reflection in the mirror.

"I am strong. I am capable. I will get through this."

With that, you got dressed and headed out the bathroom door, determined to make the most of your day. Wearing the blazer of Kim Emirates, you rushed around your small room, trying to gather your things for your first day at your new job. You couldn't help but feel a pang of hunger in your stomach. You glanced at the clock and realized you were running late, so you decided to skip breakfast and head out the door.

But just as you were about to leave, your aunt walked out through the kitchen, surprising you with her early return. She had gone out the night before to meet a friend, so you were shocked to see her standing in the kitchen with a spatula in hand. You couldn't believe my eyes.

"Where do you think you're going?" Aunty asked, standing in the doorway with a spatula in hand.

"I'm heading to my first day of work, Aunty. I'm running late!" You replied glancing at her and then to your watch.

"Ah, no you're not. Not without breakfast, at least. Come to the kitchen and sit down," She said, motioning for you to take a seat at the dining table.

"I've already prepared your favorite breakfast."

You were amazed. She had already prepared breakfast ; Scrambled eggs, toast, and fresh fruit adorned the table.

"Aunty, you didn't have to do this. You just got back from your friend's place, didn't you?" You asked, taking a seat as she served you a plate of scrambled eggs and toast, she looked at you with a twinkle in her eye.

"I did, but I wanted to make sure you started your first day on the job with a full stomach and a happy heart," She confessed staring at your blazer's logo and then at your eyes.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you realized how lucky you are to have her in your life. She had always been there for you and your small family. And now she was here on your big day, making sure you were taken care of.

As you savored the delicious breakfast, she placed her hand on your head and peered at you with motherly look to which you looked at her and showed your pretty smile.

"Y/n.." Your aunt's soft voice interrupted your meal.

You looked up, mouth full, and nodded. "Mmm-hmm, what's up?"

"Minjee had to leave early for college. She has early classes and couldn't afford to miss them," Your aunt explained.

Your mind fogged, and then memories came rushing back - Minjee's comforting presence beside you, her lap, a safe haven as you broke down emotionally and fell asleep.

"Oh, I forgot she was even here," you said, feeling a pang of guilt.

Your aunt smiled knowingly. "She was worried about you, dear. She stayed up all night with you, making sure you were okay."

Minjee's kindness touched a chord deep within you.

''I'm so lucky to have her as my best friend.'' You whispered, feeling a sense of appreciation and affection.

"I'm going to miss our daily moments together." You said, smiling wistfully.

Then your aunt handed you a letter to which you gazed at her confused.

"She asked me to give this to you. She wrote it last night, before she left."

You took the letter, confusion etched on your face. "What's this?"

"Just read it, dear." Your aunt replied.

As you opened the letter, a warm smile spread across your face. Minjee's heartfelt message wished you all the best for your first day and apologized for leaving early.

"Minjee wrote this at night... it's so sweet of her," You said, feeling grateful.

Your aunt nodded. "She wanted to make sure you knew how much she cares."

You carefully folded the letter and tucked it into your bag, feeling a sense of reassurance with Minjee's words close to you. And then you resumed your breakfast.

After breakfast, she gave you a big hug and whispered a blessing in your ear,

"May today be the start of something amazing, dear. You deserve it."

You genuinely smiled, feeling a warmth in your heart from her kind words and gentle touch. "Thank you, I really needed to hear that. You always know how to make me feel loved and happy. Today feels full of possibilities now." You looked up at her with gratitude, feeling a sense of hope and excitement for the day ahead.

At Kim Emirates,

Taehyung stormed into the company, his bodyguards flanking him, their eyes scanning the room with an air of intimidation. The employees trembled, sensing his fury, and wondered what had triggered him so early in the morning. Whispers spread like wildfire, but Taehyung's glare silenced them.

He stopped, his eyes sweeping the room, and the employees hastily returned to their tasks, fearful of being targeted. Taehyung ignored them and strode to the elevator, his anger simmering just below the surface.

In his office, he commanded at his secretary,

"Get Ms. Kim Jennie in here, now."

He scurried off, returning with Jennie, who greeted him with a polite smile. "What can I do for you, sir?"

Taehyung's expression was unyielding. "Terminate Lee Y/n from the freshers list."

Jennie's confusion was evident. "But, sir, why?"

Taehyung's teeth gritted as he glanced at her with anger visibe on his face.

"Just do it. Get that?"

She nodded hastily and exited. Taehyung's anger still simmered, his eyes blazing with intensity. He was a force to be reckoned with, and his employees knew it.

She returned, her expression hesitant. "Sir, if Lee Y/n comes here, what should I do?"

Taehyung's voice was cold. "Send her directly to me. No questions, no excuses. Just do as you're told."

She nodded, her eyes wide with fear, and quickly exited. Her departure was followed by Taehyung's swift action. He pulled out his phone and dialed Jisoo's number, his anger still simmering.

"Come to my office, now," He barked before hanging up.

Jisoo's concern was palpable as she rushed to her brother's company. She was greeted by Mr Oh, who escorted her to Taehyung's office.

"What's wrong, Mr Oh? Why is my brother so angry?" She enquired politely.

Mr Oh expression was tight-lipped. "I don't know, ma'am. He arrived in a foul mood and has been like that ever since."

Jisoo's worry deepened as she entered the office. Taehyung's gaze was icy, his eyes blazing with anger.

"What happened, Tae? Why did you call me here?"

"You know exactly why I called you. You gave the fresher's form to Y/n, didn't you?" His voice was low and menacing as he peered at her with his angry gaze and he moved towards her.

Jisoo took a step back, her eyes widening. "I was just trying to help, Taehyung. She's a bright girl and—"

His anger boiled over.

"You had no right."

Jisoo stood her ground. "I was trying to help, Taehyung. You're always so busy, and I thought—"

His sneered was cold. "You thought? You never think, Jisoo. You just act on emotions, without considering the consequences."

"I'm sorry, Taehyung. I didn't mean to-" But he cut her off.

"You never mean to, but you always do. Why do you have to do things that might anger me?"

He paced around the room, his frustration growing. She tried to apologize again, but he was too mad to listen.

"Y/n is just a month away from graduation, and she's not right in her mind. She took it upon herself to help her so-called family cum caretakers so that she could pay her father's hospital bills. And she, without thinking twice, took the absurd decision to drop out. You knew she needed help, didn't you?"

She looked down, nodding her head as he was right.

He continued, "But instead of asking me, you acknowledged her and even offered to help her."

His voice rose in frustration. "Why do you keep forgetting that I'm here to take care of her? As long as I'm alive, her troubles are mine to bear. You didn't have to meddle in between and create chaos. She barely knows me because of her memory, and now you've created another obstacle which I've to handle now."

Jisoo felt a pang of sadness and regret. She had never meant to cause trouble, but she had acted impulsively, trying to help Y/n. She knew her brother was disappointed in her, and she didn't blame him.

"I'm sorry, Taehyung. I really am. I didn't think it would cause so much trouble," Jisoo said, tears welling up in her eyes.

Displeasure etched on his face, Taehyung said, "I've already handled Mr. Lee's payment. Now, I need to rectify the situation you've botched. Your impulsiveness is exhausting, Jisoo. Leave me to deal with this."

"I'm s..sorry again," She stuttered feeling guilty for her actions and immediately left the office leaving him alone.

Somewhere in Daegu,

Mr. Lee laid in the hospital bed, his body battered and bruised from the severe injuries he sustained. His wife, Mrs. Lee, sat beside him, gently feeding him soup to help him regain his strength. As he swallowed, he winced in pain, but his eyes locked onto hers, filled with concern and a deep sadness.

"Where is he?" He asked, his voice weak but urgent, referring to the young man who had departed.

"Is he safe?" Mrs. Lee's expression turned somber, and she sighed before answering him.

"He's safe, dear. He's being sent to another country."

His face fell, and he nodded slowly, his eyes welling up with tears. His wife's gaze lingered on him, her own eyes brimming with emotion.

She pulled out her phone and showed him a photo taken by the media. It was a picture of the young man who had left, and his eyes widened as he saw it. Tears sprang to his eyes, and he reached out a shaking hand to take the phone from his wife. He traced the photo with his fingers, his eyes glistening with tears.

"It doesn't feel right anymore, honey," he stuttered, his mouth injured and swollen.

"I regret agreeing to that deal. I miss my son."

She immediately wiped away his tears, her own heart heavy with sorrow.

"I know, dear. I'm so sorry. But I have faith in Y/n. And I'm sure..," she paused, her voice filled with conviction,

"Y/n would change our fate if Kim Taehyung ever falls for her."
