Brody's POV

As I got inside I saw dad looking at the barrier "dad?" I asked and He turned around supriswd "Brody? My son is that you?" He asked in shock and I nodded smiling and he picked me up hugging me tightly and I hugged back smiling as he put me down a fireball appeared and sent him flying and mom rushed hugging me "Oh my child. It's me at first I thought I would let you make your journey alone...But I could not stop worrying about you. Your adventure must have been so treacherous. Yet you don't have a single scratch. I'm so proud" Mom said kissing my cheek pulling back "Did you have to throw a fireball at dad though?" I asked as he walked back in "I wanted to do that a long time ago my child" Mom said "Tori...you came back....!" Dad said "Do not 'Tori' me, Dreemurr!" Mom said and started arguing with him....well she didn't let that dad reply anywaybut soon "Ngahhhhhhhh!! Asgore! Prince!! Nobody fight each other!!!" Undyne came in "Everyone's gonna be friends, or else I'll...!!" She stopped when she saw mom "Hello. I an Toriel, are you a new friend of my son? It's nice to meet you" Mom said "uh...yeah? Nice to meet you!" Undyne said then went to dad  "Hey Asgore is that your ex? Jeez that's rough" Undyne said and then Alphys came in "H-hey! Nobody do anything to hurt each other!!......." Alphys said then looked at mom "Oh! Are you another friend? I am Toriel his mom. Hello!" Mom said "U-uh h-hi....there's two of them???" Alphys said and whispered to me the last part and went to Undyne and Papyrus came in 'Why are they coming here?' Arsene asked "Hey! Nobody fight anyone! If anyone fights anyone....! Then I'll!! Ask Undyne to help!!!" Papyrus said "Hello!" Mom said "Oh! Hello your majesty!" Papyrus said then went to me "Psst! Hey prince...did Asgore shave and clined himself...????" He asked when I felt someone pat me on the back it was Sans "Hey kiddo. Did I miss something?" Sans asked "That voice...!" Mom said and walked closer to me and Sans "Hello, I think we may....know each other?" Mom asked "oh hey....I recognizw your voice, too" Sans saod "I am Toriel, Brody's mom" Mom said petting me "so nice to meet you" she said "the name's sans and, uh same" Sans said oh wait! Then! This must be your brother Papyrus! Greetings Papyrus! It is so nice to finally meet you!" Mom said "wowie I can't believe Asgore's clone knows me. This is the best day of my life!!!!!" Papyrus said "Hey Papyrus...what does a skeleton tile his roof with?" Mom asked "Hmmmm....snow-proog roof tiles???" Papyrus asked "No, silly! A skeleton tiles his roof with....SHIN-gles!!!" Mom said "I changed my mind!!!! This is the worst day of my life!!" Papyrus said while that happens Undyne and Alphys try to cheer dad up and Mettaton comes out of nowhere "Oh my god! Will you two just smooch already?! The audience is dying for some romantic action!!!" Mettaton said "Hey, shut up!!! Man, the nerve of that guy! Right Alphys?!?!....uh Alphys?" Undyne asked "No he's right let's do it!" Alphys said "Well???? Uh??? I guess???? If you want to??? Then???? Don't hold anything back!!!" Undyne said as they were about to kiss when mom went over and separated them "w-wait! Not infront of Brody!" Mom said "Uhh right! S-sorry, I got a little caried away  there" Alphys said and Sans and Papyrus went to stand next to them "hee hee hee. My child, it seems as if you made lots of new friends here." Mom said "I...don't get it. I mean I get why you are here mom but....why are you guys here?" I asked "Well that reminds ne. Papyrus called everyone here. But uh anyway...If I got here before you...how did you know to call everybody?" Alphys asked "Let's just say...A tiny flower helped me" Papyrus said. 'Wait Flowey?!' I thought "a tiny...flower?" Alphys asked when suddenly a vine went around them trapping them and tying them up shocking them when Flowey appeared infront of me "Great job Brody! I knew you would do this perfectly and while all of you had ypur little pow-wow...I took the human souls and now, not only are those under my power...but all of your friends souls are gonna be mine too!" Flowey said "And guess what? It's your fault! Because you made them love you all the time-" "I know who you are" I said interrupting him "Huh?" Flowey asked "I know who you really are 'Flowey' "I said and he looked suprised "H-heh you figured it out huh? Well guess what? It doesn't matter! You are late Brody! I'm flowey now!" Flowey said "As-" I said when Flowey hit me "Don't you dare call me that!" Flowey said trapping me in a small box unable to move and dodge "I'm not letting you win! Our game will never end! I won't let you leave me!" Flowey said and attacked me as my hp dropped to 1 and before he finished me a group of fireballs blocked his attack "Do not be afraid my child. No matter what happens..." Mom said "We will always be there to protect you son!" Dad said and Flowey threw lines of pellets on my left and right but a bone and a spear blocked them "That's right human Prince! You can win! Just do what I would do...believe in you!!!" Papyrus said "Hey! Prince! If you got past ME, you can do ANYTHING! So don't worry! We're with you all the way!" Undyne said "huh? You haven't beaten this guy yet? C'mon kiddo you have more powers than any human and this weirdo's got nothing on you" Sans said and my hp recovered up to 5 by now Flowey growls and tryes again but a line of thunder and fire block his attacks "It may be impossible for anyone B-but you aren't anyone Brody" Alphys said "Son for the future of humans and monsters. You have to stay determined!" Dad said and soon MK and more monsters came cheering me up "Urrrghhh You! You! You think you can beat me Brody?! Screw your soul! I don't need it! All of their souls will make up for it!" Flowey said as a bright light shines and I cover my eyes.

When I opened them...there he is his back facing me "Finally. I was so tired of being a flower" Asriel said "Asriel.." I said and he turned around smiling "Howdy Brody! Yeah it's me...." Asriel said and transformed into an older version of himself, wearing a robe like mom's his eyes were black with white pupils 'It's just like when he took my soul' I thought "ASRIEL DREEMURR" he said and we entered a combat I checked his stats and widen my eyes

*Asriel Dreemurr infinite attack and infinite defense
*Legendary being made of every soul of the underground

And soon eberything around us started glowing in various colours as Asriel floats around

*The true final battle was finally behinning

I hit spare and he throws big stars at me, I got worried and held my hands out and I get in a light blue color holding the stars mid air and I throw them away 'Patience state' I thought as more stars came exploding in tiny stars and I dodged them.

I spare again an he talks "You know...I don't care about destroying this world anymore" Asriel said and shoots a barrage of lighting at me but I turn into my green state and block them with my shield. I spare again "After I defeat you and gain total control over the timeline....I just want to reset everything" Asriel said summonig his chaos saber and tryes to slash me but I block with my shield on my left and right then make two when he attacks at the same time. I keep sparing "All your progress...everyone's memories. I'll bring them all back to zero!" Asriel said throwing lightning at me again and block with my shield once more.

I spare again "Then we can do everything ALL over again" Asriel said and I feel orange boxing gloves appear on my hands as I'm filled with bravery and push the stars back switching to patience to send them back athim but as expected they don't hurt him. I spare again "And you know what the best part of all this is? You'll do it" Asriel said using his chaos buster shooting at me but I turn to my justice state shooting at the bullets as I dodged.

I spare again "And then you'll lose to me again" Asriel said summoning his chaos sabers and I blocked his attacks with my shield. I spare "And again" Asriel said using his chaos buster and I dodge it using my Blue state.

I spare again "And again!!!" Asriel said shooting lightning at me but I block with my green state shield, so I keep sparing "Because ypu want a 'Happy ending'." Asriel said shooting stars as I push them away with my patience state. I spare again "Because yoy 'love your friends' " Asriel said using his chaos sabers and I block with my green shield "Because you 'never give up' " Asriel said using his chaos blaster and I dodge with my blue state "Isn't that delicious? Your 'determination' the power that let you getthis far.....It's gonna be your downfall!" Asriel said using lightning and dodge with my blue state.

"Now, ENOUGH messing around! It's time to purge this timeline once and for all!" Asriel said as he vanishes and his hyper goner forms and starts absorbing and I try to run away using my blue state as I dodge the blocks coming as a binding light shoots at me leavig me with 1 hp panting ".....even after that attack, you're still standing in my way......? Wow.....you really ARE something special. But don't get cocky brother. Up until now I've only been using a fraction of my REAL power! Let's see how good your DETERMINATION is against THIS!!!" Asriel said transforming and now he had wings his whole appereance changed but strangest of all "I can't move" I said "Urah ha ha ha....behold my TRUE power!" Asriel said, I can't use my soul states qll I can do is move my soul away as I dodge his attacks "I can feel it...Every time you die, your grip on this world slips away. Every time you die, your friends forget you a little more. Your life will ebd here, in a world where no one remembers you....." Asriel said attacking and I try to dodge but one hit me killing me but I refuse to die and came back with full HP "Still, you're hanging on...? In a few moments, you'll forget everything, too. That attitude will serve you well in your next life!" Asriel said as he attacked and I dodged "Ura ha ha......Still?! Come on Brody....show me how good your DETERMINATION is now!" Asriel said attacking and I dodged.

'Arghh! What can I do?! I can't move, I can't use my soul state, I can't use my save file what do I do?!" I thought 'Maybe with what little you have left you can save something else' Arsene said and turned my act button into SAVE I press it to see their names.

*Toriel           *Asgore

"Undyne!" I said "Huh?" Asriel asked confused as I find her in the depths of Asriel's soul as she appears infront of my her face covered in white blocks I press act asked her to teach me to cook, she doesn't know why, but she kind of wants to teach me how..as I'm forced into my green state

"All humans will die!" She said attacking me but I block with my shield and then I smile like she does and she wants to smile back "You're our real enemy" she said attacking but I block with my shield and then clash with all my might and she recognizes my fighting spirit....suddenly her memories flood back "But you showed me some humans are good!" Undyne said the blocks vanishing as she smiles at me.

It send me back where Asriel is and then I choose Alphys "Alphys!" I said "What are ypu doing?" Asriel asked confused as I get sent where Alphys is and she is just like Undyne and I was forced into my yellow state and I decide to ask what her favorite cartoon is. She can barely hold back from giving me an enormous answer "You hate me, don't you...?" She asks as she throws miny mettatons at me but I shoot them. I then I said I'll still support her. She felt like it's familiar "I've got to keep lying...." she said throwing more obstacles at me but I shoot them away, finally I ask help with a quiz and her memories return the blocks vanishing "No, that's not true! My friends like me!  And I like you too Prince Brody!" Alphys said, as I return I choose Sans and Papyrus "Sans! Papyrus!" I said "Brody knock it off!" Asriwl said getting mad as I get transported to them.

This time forced into my blue state and I ask help with a puzzle to Papyrus, he doesn't know why, but he really wants to help me. "I must capture a human!" Papyrus said "Just give up. I did" sans said as they attack and I dodge, then I tell Sans I think crossworda is tougher than jumble, it seems to have some dim recollection of this fact. "Then everyone will" Papyrus said "Why even try?" Sans asked as they attack and I dodge and then I tell Sans a pun of skeletons, suddenly their memories return the blocks vanishing "No wait!! You're myfriend Prince Brody!" Papyrud said "Nah, I'm rooting for you kid. Do your best" Sans said as I return.

I then choose the last too "Mom! Dad!" I said "It's pointless Brody! Give up already!" Asriel said as I'm transported to Mom and dad, then I tell mom I love her butterscotch cinnamon pie. Somehow it warns er soul hearing that. "This is for your own good" Mom said "Forgive me for this" Dad said they say attacking but I dodge, then I hug mom and tell her that I'll see her again. It feels familiar to her "No one will leave again" mom said "This is my duty" dad said as they attack and I dodge and then I hug dad and tell him I'm okay, suddenly their memories retunr the blocks vanishing. "Your fate is up to you now my child! I'm proud of you!" Mom said "Son You are our future! I'm proud of you!" Dad said.

As I return "Now the final one. I'll save YOU Asriel!" I said determined "Huh? What are you doing?!" Asriel asks as we both get a flash of memory remembering the first time we meet, I look back to see him sad "Asriel" I said "Wh...what did you do.....? What's this feeling....? What's happening to me?" Asriel asks "No! NO! Get out of my head Brody! I don't need ANYONE!" Asriwl said thtowing a lot of attacks at me and I block the best I can with my shield "Asriel!" I said walking closer "STOP IT! Get away from me! Do you hear me?! I'll tear you apart!" Asriel said attacking again and I block his attacks "Asriel" I said turning back to normal "Brody....Do you know why I'm doing this....? Why I keep fighting to keep you around....?" Asriel asks as he throws fireballs but like with mom none of them at me "Asriel" I said getting closer "I'm doing this.....Because you're special, Brody. You are the only one that understands me. You're the only one who's any fun to play with anymore" Asriel said "Asriel" I said "No.....that's not JUST it. I....I....I'm doing this because I care about you Brody! I care about you more than anybody else!" Asriel said "Az...." I said "I'm not ready for this to end. I'm not ready for you to leave. I'm not ready to say goodbye to someone like you again...." Asriel said "Asriel" I said as he tears up "So, please....STOP doing this....AND JUST LET ME WIN!!!" Asriel said shooting a big blast at me and it slowly pushed me back but my eyes glow bright red with my determination as I walk foward against it my HP went lower than 1 but never to 0 "STOP IT BRODY!!" Asriel said, my other options were destroyed but I kept going, it hurt but I refuse to give up! I will not give up on anyone! "STOP IT NOW!!!" Asriel said putting more strenght in the attack but I kept walking as he stopped, I can bearly stand but I keep walking "Brody....I'm so alone...I'm so afraid Brody.....Brody I...." Asriel said as I finally reached him and hugged him "I..." he said a bright light shine and I cover my eyes.

As I open my eyes I see Asriel back to normal hugging me crying "I'm so sorry" Asriel said and we pull back as he wipes his tears "I always was a crybaby, wasn't I, Brody?" Asriel asked with a smile "A brave crybaby" I said and he smiles "nonsense......Brody I haven't felt like this for a long time. As a flower, I was soulless, I lacked the power to love other people. However with everyone's souls inside me....I not only have my own compassion back....But I can feel every other monster's as well. They all care about each other and about you as well Brody" Asriel said "It feels like they all really love you. Haha....Brody I...understand if you hate me, what I did was horrible..." Asriel said "Nonsense I forgive you. You weren't yourself when you did those things" I said "What?...Brody come on...You're gonna make me cry again" Asriel said smilimg "Besides even if you forgive me, I can't keep these souls. I'll return them but first I'll do what we promised with all their power and their determination I'll break the barrier!" Asriel said closing his eyes slowly floating as the human souls and every monster soul float around as well shattering the barrier destroying it once and for all and the human souls vanished and the monster souls returned where they belong as Asriel stood infront of me.

"Brody...I have to go now. Without everyone's souls I can't keep this form in a little while I'll turn back into a flower. So Brody it's best you forget about me ok?" Asriel said "No I'm not giving up on you Asriel" I said taking my soul out "Huh? Brody what are you doing?" Asriel asked confused "I got an idea" I said smiling 'A stupid idea. Brody you don't even now if it's gonna work' Arsene said 'Worth a try' I said gripping my soul and start tearing it i to two halves, of course it hurts A LOT "Brody! What are you doing?! Stop!" Asriel said but I didn't listen as I finally ripped my soul into two halfs one I put back in me my hp staying in a permanent 10 and I gave the other half to Asriel "if a bit of determination made Flowey. Half of my soul will keep you like you are" I said panting "Brody I......you reckless dummy....thank you" Asriel said taking the other half putting it in him as he hugs me.

I felt like we both faint cause I hear gasp as I open my eyes seeing I'm on the floor Asriel laying on top of me and I see mom and dad in tears "Asriel? It can't be.." the two said and they hugged us both crying and we hugged back crying too, "How are you here my child?" Mom asks Asriel "Well....it's thanks to Brody" Asriel said and I show my now half soul and they all look suprised "Oh my child. Are you alright?" Mom asked chwcking on me "I am mom....well juwt a bit dizzy" I said "Jeez kiddo you are just something else" Sans said  "Regardless the barrier is broken...though we don't know anything after that flower appeared" Mom said "That's.....a long story" I said "then we'll save it for later for now let's see outside" Dad said and we all nodded stepping out.

Wow.....it's been so long since I saw the sun, the forest.....well anything of the surface as we all look at the sunset, Undyne, Alphys and Papyrus marvel at the beautiful scenery infront of us "It's beautiful, but we should really think ehat comes next" Mom said "Right....everyone This is the beginning of a bright new future. An era of peace between humans and monsters. Brody son, you've done a lot for us but could I ask that you act as our ambassador for the humans?" Dad asked and I smiled "I will no problem" I said "Thank you" dad said "Should we go make a first impression?" Papyrus asked "Perhaps not yet. We should first infrom everyone else and get everything ready" Dad said and they all nodded one by one going back to the underground till it's just me, Asriel and Mom "You two can stay as much as you need here I'll wait at the entrance my childs" Mom said following after the others. "So we did it everyone is free" Asriel said "Yeah it took a while but we did it" I said and Asriel giggles "You can say that again but you are resting especially after ripping your soul in two!" Asriel said smiling "Heh I guess I should" I said "Are you saving?" Asriel asked "Yeah I said taking my save file out 'I told you you could do it' Arsene said 'Not without your help Arsene' I said and he smiled

*Everyone is free, the barrier is no more, the feeling of an era of peace and all the things you accomplished as well as what you will accomplish in the future. Fills you with determination.
