Lucas Pov

I wake up before everyone. I turn to look at Rayne lying with the blankets twisted around her naked body. I can't stop staring at her and her pure beauty. I don't know how she still amazes me with her natural beauty, but she does. This girl could take anyone's breath away with her beauty. I could bury myself inside her all day and still need more. I shake the thoughts away, lean over, brush my lips against her forehead, and then cover her up. I get out of bed and go get ready for the day. I headed downstairs to make coffee. I then chose to make my son breakfast. As I was making breakfast, I heard everyone coming into the kitchen. I turned and saw Caleb.

"Hey man, next time you want to FUCK my cousin, can you please be a little less loud?" He says and shutters. Korey laughs at that. "Yeah, man, I don't want to hear my cousin yelling someone's name. LUCAS FUCK HARDER." Korey yells, copying Rayne from last night. I just laugh and shake my head. And then turn back to flipping the pancakes. "Damn, it must have been good. Lucas is cooking breakfast and laughing. I never thought someone could make you this happy," Caleb says as he pours himself a cup of coffee. I turn and give him a deadly glare. "Don't say anything to Rayne about what you heard last night. She's still not sure what she wants. Don't make it any harder on her, please." I say and then ignore them and focus on breakfast.

As I finish breakfast, the rest join us as I set everything on the table. "Good morning, Lucas," I hear my son say as he sits down at the table. I look up and smile. "Good morning, Dante," I say as I put his food in front of him. He smiles and digs into his pancakes.

Rayne walks into the kitchen and heads to the counter to get some coffee. She looks up at me and blushes and looks back down at the coffee pot. I chuckle and walk over to her. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her into me after making her turn to face me. "Good morning, Amor," I say and kiss her. She kisses me lightly, then quickly pulls away, causing me to pout, and goes back to drinking her coffee. "Seriously, mom, you're kissing him now." Dante says and gets up and storms away. I hear a door slamming shut. I go to follow him, but Rayne stops me. "Let me talk to him." She says and follows after.

"What was that about?" I hear Sarah say as she walks into the kitchen. No one answers her as she sits down at the table. "Dante is mad because Lucas kissed Rayne." Mykel mumbles as he glares at me, and Sarah looks shocked. I shrugged my shoulders and walked away. I head to find where Dante and Rayne went. I need to find out what his problem is. I need to know why he is so against me and his mom being together. I walk towards the back door, and I hear them talking.

"Mom, how could you let him touch you? That is nasty. He cheated on you, and you are allowing him to touch you, mom. You are better than that." I hear Dante say to Rayne "Dante, I know you don't understand, but I have always loved your father, and I want to give him a chance. I'm not going to jump into trusting him one hundred percent. I know you don't really understand, but I promise when I say that you can trust your father, he won't hurt you ever." Rayne says to him. When I heard her say she would never trust me one hundred percent, it felt like someone kicked me in the chest. It also made me notice even more that I fucked up. I walk out the back door and see them sitting there on the bench. They hear me coming and stop talking. Dante looks up at me. "Hurt my mom, and I will stab you in your dick." He said as he glared at me.

"Dante!" Rayne screams at him, and he looks at her smugly and shrugs and smiles, then walks away and heads back inside.

I, of course, laugh at him and shake my head and walk over to Dante. "That boy surprises me more and more every day." I said to her.

"How much of that did you hear?" Rayne asks me.

"Enough to know how much I hurt you. And to know I have a lot to do to gain your trust back." I say, and she looks down at her feet. "Hey, none of that. I understand that I hurt you and I messed up. I will never do that again, and I will be making it up to you for the rest of my life." I say.

I pull her body to me and kiss the top of her head. "I promise I will make it up to you and to Dante." I say, then let go and stand up. I put my hand out for her to grab and help her stand. "Let's go; we need to get to Italy right away." I say.

We head inside and go to the kitchen as we walk into the kitchen, and we see Sarah sitting with Mykel and her sitting and talking. "Hey, we need to get everything loaded into the vehicles so we can head out. I know I said we can stay for a couple days, but after the police contacted Rayne last night, I'm not comfortable enough to keep them here any longer." I say to them, They shake their heads and head to the rooms they were staying in. "Lucas, I need to shower before we head out." Rayne says to me. I shake my head and tell her to go ahead. I walk to the living room to speak to Frank, Korey, and Caleb.

"Lucas, I know you are the boss, but I need to tell you if you hurt my niece again, I will kill you this time instead of beating your ass." Frank says. It does make me a little mad that he is threatening me, but I understand. He wants to protect his niece and great-nephew. Which causes me to build more respect for him than what I already have.

"I don't plan on and will not hurt her again or my son. I will be in the ground before I ever do what I did to her five years ago. And that is a promise." I say as I sit down.
