•Chapter 68•

"I really hate to interrupt in this romantic moment, I really do."

Scarlet froze as Severus looked into her eyes and slowly shook his head. He silently tried to reach for his wand, but it was gone. "Looking for this, Snapey?" shouted the voice of Amycus Carrow, as he held the wizard's wand.

There was no escape.

'Scarlet... Scarlet... I love you, but I need you to run. Run as fast as you can, and don't come back for me, alright?' the Potions Master said telepathically, as she quickly received the message in her head. Tears streamed down her face while she shook her head, when Severus bellowed: "Run, Scarlet! Now!" Carrow jumped at the man and started fighting. Scarlet screamed, and threw flames at Carrow accidentally, but Severus shot a look at her. "GO!!!"

(Just because I revived good characters doesn't mean I won't bring back our antagonists!)

Scarlet ran deeper & deeper into the forest, as her hair flew by her back. She dodged all the trees, when she realized Fenrir Greyback's voice, shouting at her. "Come here, little witch! You don't want little icky little Severus to be hurt!"

She quickly wiped her face due to the tears, and continued running just as told. Who knew how fast or how long she's been running. "You can run, but you can't hide!" Avery shouted farther by her back. She screamed louder. But the only problem was...

Where was Severus?! He should've been with her now!

"Severus?! Severus?!" Scarlet shouted as loudest as she can, not minding the pain in her throat. Many animals ran away as she screamed every time, that she thought why nobody heard her yet. She expected Severus to be running behind her, but Greyback & Avery's figures were the only things in her sight. Her feet weren't this strong, why wasn't she tired yet? It was something in her that knew her life was in grave danger. "Scarlet!" he sang, missing her robes by at least an inch. He started casting spells, that she surrounded herself with a giant orb that repelled all spells while she ran. Her first old ever Gryffindor tie even flew away from it's owner, and smacked the Death Eater by the face. But visions seemed to have been hitting Scarlet as she ran past the tall and large trees... Visions of her loved ones being tortured.

"ARGH!"

John Carter was holding his flames towards Malaine, while her black flames began to creep closer. "FOR MY FAMILY! NEVER!!" The red flames disappointed its master, and John Carter fell to the ground with a loud thud.

Teresa Carter looked at Malaine furiously, and with one last wave, both women lost to each other while Teresa laid dead on the master bedroom's floor.

Xander was now flying up, down, left, right on his broom while he gripped onto the effing thing for dear life. The broom swooped down, and dragged him across the Quidditch Field like he was road kill.

Lyanna screamed and shrieked as a man tackled her to the floor and started scratching her. Her face streamed down tears, when the man got a clear vision of her face then stepped back. It was the wrong witch.

Talahad and Donatello casted spells everywhere as the Death Eaters tried to kill the Duo. Donatello looked horrified, & Talahad did every hex he knew ever since childhood to protect himself & his friend that he knew as a brother.

Severus' stomach started to lurch as he clutched his chest and sank to the floor, groaning in pain. Something seemed to have been torturing inside him as he shouted for help.... Yet no one came.

Scarlet screamed in pain with the thought of everyone -especially Severus- being hurt, haunted her like crazy. Runcorn, Rookwood, Dolohov, and Rowle joined Greyback, as they chased the witch with dangerous grins.

Though, a loud howl spread everywhere through the forest.

"MAX!" screamed Scarlet, hoping at least the man would show up to her. A black wolf ran after her, and Scarlet turned into her Animagi once again while the others of the pack guided her. Every wolf surrounded her. "We need you to get back to the castle."

"We can't! They'll be in danger once again!"

"Max, where do we hide her?" howled Zhoe, growling behind her as Rowle shot a hex near her right hind leg. "The heart of the forest!" Max answered, but he yelped in pain. "I got you now, you little beast!" bellowed Runcorn. A large black net wrapped around Max's paw, but the wolf easily shook it off. "Toby, Diesel! Stay with me! Pluto, Zhoe! Lead Scarlet! We can't afford to lose her!"

"I'm not leaving you, Max -!" Zhoe shouted. Scarlet looked at Max, but he shook his large head. "YOU PROMISED TERESA AND JOHN!" Zhoe looked petrified for a moment or two, yet, she tugged on Scarlet's fur. They had to move on. Pluto and Zhoe -who were the twins of the group- changed into their human forms alongside Scarlet, then found their way blocked by more Death Eaters.

"Malaine knew you were in the forest... Jones... Run!!!!"

"Minerva, you knew all this would happen!!!" Raven Jones barked loudly, slamming her hands upon the table. "And that is?" asked Minerva. "She is in the forest! Both of them! And this isn't coincidental!" Minerva stood up, and looked at Filius Flitwick, whom scurried out of the door to act his move. "Sound the alarm. I did not expect this -"

"You foolish woman! She will die right now because you do not imagine what you are up against!"

"She told me everything shall be fine." she said calmly. Raven's face turned tomato red, as Pomona sat her down. There was something missing. Like a person mostly in a picture who has somehow faded. "Minerva, we need the staff. Where is Severus?"

"He has gone looking for her." interrupted Hermione quickly, as her hands shook. "She is in grave danger. We can't risk the rising of evil once more. Voldemort has fallen. She made her move."

But Flora Felixa hurried to the room, and grabbed the collar of Raven's robes.

"Where is your sister?!"

"Pluto!" yelled Zhoe, as both Animagi drew their wands and started fighting back. But Scarlet slipped through Pluto's feet, casted a barrier between the Death Eaters and twins, causing Pluto to pound on the purple force field seperating them. "SCARLET! NO!!"

"I'm sorry. But this is my fight."

Scarlet ran the direction far from the men, and went straight to a place she knew.

The symbol.

Curses fired behind her back as she screamed in terror. Why wasn't she fighting back? Where was Severus? Why on earth hasn't she given herself up yet?!? A black panther came running after her, as she ran faster. "Scarlet!" it growled, as it threw her to the ground.  "Ben, let me go!" she yelled, as Ben changed into his human form (Is it just me, or have I noticed many people in this story are Animagus?). "Sectumsepra!" Greyback cast towards her. It was nearly an inch to her uniform, when Ben held her back, causing the curse to hit his back. "BEN! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT YOU FILTHY ANIMAL!" she bellowed at him, as purple flames glowed in her hands and her eyes turned bright purple. "RUN!" shouted Ben at her. She looked down at him, but she would lose if she stayed. "I'm really sorry, Ben..."

"Don't worry. I didn't need anyone controlling me to save you."

 The trees, straight & tall, waved their branches as a gust of wind swooped around her. A horrible sound can be heard at the end of the forest, when a familiar voice spoke;

"This is the part where your story ends, Carter."

The voice of Jones muttered throughout her surroundings, as Scarlet threw her arms over her head then continued running. A large log behold in front of her, and she jumped over it, while her legs outstretched, and landed on something harder than grass.

She was now standing on the symbol itself. The Jones crest was on burning in black fire, while Scarlet knew what to do. She placed her hands on the ground, and her purple flames started to outline it. When it was completed, the black and purple fire collided then made a loud boom noise, making the witch fall down in fear. The usual hole she has been studying opened itself again but with no barriers. "Here... I... Go..."

But a figure jumped out of a bush, and pushed the little witch away from the hole.

"HOW FOOLISH OF YOU! THINKING IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO JUMP INTO UNSUSPECTING PLACES JUST LIKE THAT!" a familiar voice barked angrily. She looked up, and gasped.

It was Professor Jones.

"What are you doing?! Where's Professor Snape?!" yelled Scarlet angrily, pushing the professor off her. "What do I have to do with it? Go back to Hogwarts! You aren't safe here! GO!" Jones roared commandingly, as Scarlet's brows furrowed with anger. "No! I'm stopping this! People are getting hurt because of me!"

"YOU IDIOT! IT'S A TRAP!"

But she was too late. A flying Death Eater knocked towards her and made her fall into the hole.

ah!!!!!!!!"

Scarlet screamed to the top of her lungs as she fell down without warning. What was worse was that Severus was still missing. She landed down -to whatever she landed on-, groaning in pain. "Wha- Professor Jones!" but nobody answered her while Jones -or Malaine- shrieked furiously. She stood up, and realized what she was standing on.

Old shedded dragon skin.

It was shedded skin, and somehow, Scarlet wished she shared this awful moment with anyone. The witch walked forward, and looked around. "Lumos" she whispered quietly, as the tip of her wand illuminated. She walked & walked, and got so angry as she arrived at a dead end. 

But it wasn't the end after all... 

She was standing in front of a... door..? She used her wandless magic to cast a Disillusion charm on herself, and crept inside. She was amazed that the door didn't produce a single creaking noise, and continued. She hid behind a tall stone pillar, then gazed around the room. The room seemed to fit a giant Knight Bus into the ceiling, that you had to strain your neck to see the roof. It was lit up by torches, all in alternate order. The floor had a design too, whereas it looked like a elegant ball room's floor.

Where was she?

She pranced along the way, and a line of men were bowing before a wizard or witch.

"She escaped... Master." One said, earning himself a good slap.

"A-And she went to the Lunatic Duo, ma'am." the other said, earning him a slap as well.

"She's... She knows who you are." said the last at the very end, getting the hardest one yet.

"YOU FOOLS! YOU DUNDERHEADS!!

Y O U  I D I O T S! ! ! ! ! "

Their master bellowed loudly, that Scarlet wouldn't believe her ears. Could a normal wizard even shout like that? It much reminded her of how Uncle Sirius' mother would bellow when someone accidentally opens the curtain.

"Wait." It said, and stepped from it's throne. The men's master walked around the floor, somehow trying to track something. The Malaine wore a hooded cloak, when she stepped ever so nearer to Scarlet, and let out a small gasp. 

"I... Smell... Fire..."

But Scarlet let out a shriek.

Raven Jones found her.

WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL WAS HAPPENING?! The Disillusion charm quickly faded as Jones waved her hand over Scarlet. She shrieked. Everybody gave a devious smirk, and Scarlet knew her life was in great danger. "Grab her!" bellowed Jones, stepping away as her men quickly grabbed her by the wrist, when one pulled out a large chain. "No... No... PLEASE!!!" Scarlet pleaded while the chains of Incendium were wrapped around her. Everything felt as though they were burning. Everybody laughed, and Death Eaters started filling in.

She was about to die.

Jones stepped up to her throne, and slowly pulled her cloak off. She turned around, and Scarlet screamed loudly. There was no black hair. Nor Raven's much thinner face at usual weekdays the witch would see her. "YOU!!!!"

"Me."

Elainous.

Everybody is confuzzled, I know. But I would love to answer any questions... Except the ones that may reveal the next part of this chapter. Now, this is a 2 or 3 part chapter so don't be finding my address to hunt me down and ask why the crap was the last word Elainous. 

I'll give you a clue.

I never mentioned Raven never had a sister. 

"Where is your sister?!" bellowed Felixa, as she grasped onto Raven Jones' robes.

I think you guys really hate me right now for this, but I also might not yet update till next week because we have a huge test this week. God, it's been 7 months without Mr. Rickman and idek if I've moved on yet.

You guys are shaking your heads at your screen, aren't you?

*runs and screams in terror* "I'M SORRYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!"
