What A Girl Can See
>SCARLET'S P.O.V.<
"Scarlet, darling, you need to get up!" a voice mumbled. It tried to shake me awake...
"Severus... Severus, I'm not letting you go out after h-!"
"Yes, I will! If he wants you, they'll have to go through me first. It is my job to protect you!"
"And it's my job to protect you too!"
"No. You're staying here, and that's it!"
"Severus... Severus... Let me out! Please! Severus- you can't-! Severus, please!"
I felt myself whimpering and quickly pulled the covers over my head. W-Was that a nightmare...? I can't remember anything anymore... Dammit with the dreams you can't remember in the morning.
"Don't make me pull you myself." the voice now threatened, and watched as I stuck my tongue while I took the covers off. "Just five more minutes in bed, please...." I whispered sleepily. I felt a smirk rather mischievously. "Oh, I'll give you five minutes in bed, alright!" Wow that morning voice. Sev held both of my hands above my head and leaned towards me. My eyes quickly fluttered open. The man looked at me, with an inch before our faces would collide, grip tightening, but I managed to turn my head to the side causing him to back away. "I'll get up, Mr. Beast."
"Oh, so you're calling me that from now on?" He said amusingly. I jumped off the bed very quickly, then walked to my closet. "Good morning," I told him. He didn't expect me to greet him, and smiled. "Good morning, darling. Now tell me: What made you rise up before I can even throw you off the bed?" he asked curiously. I gave a sheepish smile that he found secretive. "Scarlet, it's the first day of school. What was it?"
"Actually... I didn't sleep well last night. Then," I admitted while I sat back down on the bed absentmindedly. "I'm having these weird... bad dreams I've been seeing the same thing for weeks. No need to worry though... in fact, you should forget about it."
"And you did not tell me this?" he asked. I nodded. "Scarlet, it's not really good to hide something from me. You don't know what might happen to you that I don't completely understand why."
"I... I'm sorry" I managed to say. "Don't say that. It isn't your fault" he replied, then pulled me towards him. "You better take a shower now. I believe breakfast ends in an hour."
"You can go ahead if you want" I said, opening the bathroom the door. "I'll wait. Even if you'll take forever. Always."
"Not the right time to use always, but that's very sweet. I'll shower real quick then."
"You won't mind me joining you?"
"Why, you little naughty beast!"

We both walked to the Great Hall for breakfast. The usual aroma of fresh bacon & eggs filled the air that made me hungry as ever. As we both entered the room, I scanned the tables to find everybody eating hungrily for the first day of school. It felt like home again, honestly. Not like before, when me and Sev had go separate ways. Now... I sit beside him, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I sat on my chair and ate my food peacefully, when my head snapped up.
There was a small ball of white light in front of me.
What?
It was whisping -or whatever- and seemed to be saying something I couldn't understand. I stared at it confusingly, before it zoomed right from my spot to the middle of the hall. I must've alarmed Sev and he nudged my elbow with concern. "Scarlet?"
I looked at him then shook my head. I stared at the ball of light again. In a blink of an eye, it turned into a shape of a... of a woman. It was a small version of a real person. She had long curly hair, and wore a familiar dress. I then watched as another ball of light came from her chest, and it was a... man. His black curls made me dig my nails into the table.
It was me and Sev.
They were laughing until something alarmed them to run for their lives. They seemed a bit scared of something. Like unknown was chasing them. Suddenly, the light turned into a group of, well, people that began running after them.
One of them in the group raised a stick, pointed it at the little me but the spell it must've cast was unsuccessful. It... hit someone else and-
"Scarlet, what in sanity's name, are you looking at? You look pale! Besides, I'm leaving for the Ministry now, so if you don't mind, I'd like to have a hug before Xander reaches me again"
My eyes widened.
What in the bloody Merlin's beard...?
I turned to the voice, to see Lyanna about to leave. She worked at the Department Of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic now, also with Hermione, who I must say, is going well with running for Ministress of Magic. Which means she isn't at Hogwarts anymore. But guess what? The third generation of the family is growing! Mmm... well, even if I'm not that so related to the Weasleys, Potters, and a hundred more last names, at least they learned to accept me of who I am to be counted as family...?
"Oh well um," I stuttered, "see... There's this light thingy-...." I tried to explain awkwardly and doing these weird hand gestures. "What? Light thing?" Lyanna asked, turning to Severus with a worried face. "You don't need to worry. I... I just want to see something," my head glanced at the center again and I saw the Scarlet carrying Sev and running out of the Great Hall toward the door. That scene the ball of light made didn't mean nothing.
Wait a minute.
How come nobody noticed that?
I quickly stood up from my chair as I excused myself without even caring if they did excuse me. "Scarlet, what are you doing?" Flora whisper-shouted while I passed her chair. My feet stopped as though I wanted to explain, but Severus standing up from his chair and looking angry didn't look friendly. And I knew he'd probably throw me off the Astronomy Tower if I don't tell him anything he would understand. Especially that light turned into me and him, oh ain't that priceless.
"Scarlet, come here." He said through gritted teeth. I shook my head and ran. My footsteps were silent though everyone was staring at me. I kept on running around, following the little Scarlet, and found a voice in my head to be screaming questions. What happened there? Did someone die? Does this even mean something? And how on earth does this relate to me?... And where did they go now?
A dead end annoyed me once I reached it, but the Scarlet appeared in front of me. She turned back into to the ball of light. It was whispering something, and more clearly.
"The heart will never forget...."
Within a second, it disappeared as though I didn't just ran an entire castle just to figure out what the hell was happening.
"Wait- what? No! Come back!" I shouted. Severus reached me, and I smiled at him frighteningly. "Um, Sev... You don't want me to explain why I ran off like that, right? That I don't need to explain a light turning into human shapes and seeming familiar to real life? Right...?"
He blinked at me.
This doesn't look good, doesn't it?

Sev nudged my arm as I looked up to him then shook my head. We both decided to skip breakfast and go straight to the Potions Classroom while I accepted of just keep silent as a Severus Snape scolded me of being angry at him for not seeing a tiny ball of white light that acted this small scene where he dies -or whatever thing that relates to him being carried by me out- while chased by a group of people and getting upset because he should be the one upset at me.
I slammed the door at his face, when he knocked once. "Scarlet! Scarlet listen to me-"
"What?" I asked impatiently through the door. "This is serious. You aren't supposed to see things like these. Even about the dreams. Un-..." He stopped in mid-sentence. "What?"
"I -" he said, trying to find the words. In anger, he casted a spell to unlock the door, and before I knew what was happening, I was pinned to the wall. "You just angered the beast, little wolf pup, and trust me, we need to talk."
