"Just give me the damn money." I hissed, nudging the gun against the bastard's head. His eyes held so much fear, his breathing heavier.

"Alright! Alright! Nick, get him the money."

I motioned for Ryan to follow the 'Nick' guy out of the room. A few moments later, they came back, Ryan holding the briefcase, nodding at me for reassurance that all the money is there. I shoved Tristan away from me before making my way out of the warehouse with my gang following behind me. I hopped into my Range Rover and Ryan got in on the passenger side, placing the briefcase on the back seat before I started up the car, driving home. My phone began ringing from it's place on the dashboard.

"Could you see who that is for me, bro?"

He nodded, grabbing my phone, scanning the screen before smirking at me, "It's your girl."

I smiled, reaching out my hand, taking the phone away from him, answering it.

"Hey, princess."

"Hey." She said softly, her voice quiet.

"How you doing, baby?" I asked, turning the car into our driveway, allowing Ryan to hop out with the briefcase while I sat back in my seat, talking to her.

"I'm okay .. I just miss you .. a lot."

I smiled, laying my head back against the head rest, biting my lip.

"I miss you too, baby girl .. I wish I could see you."

"About that .." Her voice got a little louder, sounding excited ".. My parents have planned a camping trip for this weekend and since I'm not the goody two shoes perfect daughter anymore, I won't be attending the lovely family gathering and to baby sit me will be my brother Adam, who has falsely promised to make sure I don't see you.!"

I grinned, my heart rate picking up.

"So that means we can see each other this weekend?"

"That means we can definitely see each other this weekend, maybe even have a little sleep over, if you want to?" She asked, her voice sounding so adorable when nervous.

I chuckled, picking on the material of my jeans.

"Of course I want to, I'd do anything to see you, baby."

I could tell she was blushing as she whispered, "Oh, okay."

I bit my lip, opening up my door and getting out before locking the car "So, how's the home schooling thing going, baby? You getting the hang of it?"

"Yeah, it's pretty easy actually, I got 99% on a maths test the other day!"

She said proudly and I smiled.

"Of course you did, smarty pants."

She giggled, aww man, I miss her giggle, I can't wait for this fucking weekend to come already, I miss her so damn much.

"How's school going for you?"
I cleared my throat, strolling up to my front door "Um... I-uh.... Ihaven'treallybeengoingtoschoollately!"

"Jason!" She scold. disappointment clear in her voice "why haven't you been going, Jason? You can't skip school for nothing!"

I sighed, laying my head against the front door. "Baby, school's not for me, the only reason I actually went is to see you and now that you're not there, there's no point."

"Jason, that's not a reasonable excuse, I can't believe you just quit on school like that, how could you be so irresponsible?"

I hated hearing her sound so disappointed, I wanna do things that make her happy, not upset. I frowned, "I already have a job, baby and a criminal record, even if I had a good education I wouldn't be able to get a good job. I'm good at what I do, it's the only thing I know ... I'm sorry, princess, I don't want you to be disappointed in me but that's the truth."

She sighed, "I'm not disappointed, Jase ... I'm sorry, I just forgot that you're in a different situation than anyone else, that was my fault, I didn't mean to go off on you like that."

"No, it's not your fault, baby .." I said softly, shutting my eyes while thinking of her " ... You're just worried about me, and I can't say I don't love that."

I smiled slightly, licking my lips.

"I am worried about you sometimes ... especially when you go on those mission thingy's"

I chuckled, "Mission thingy's?"

"Yes, mission thingy's." She giggled, "Whatever you call them, I worry about you when you do them."

I smiled slightly, "I know, but I can handle myself, I'm strong."

She giggled again "Yeah, yeah, I know you are."

I bit my lip, chuckling slightly "Oh, baby... Do you know how much I miss you? Fuck, I can't wait to see you this weekend."

"I can't wait either, Jason .." She whispered quietly, "I really gotta go to bed, it's pretty late and my mom makes me qet up early to start the program."

I sighed, my smile fading "Alright ... I'll call you tomorrow."

I licked my lips, shoving my free hand in my pocket "I love you, baby girl."

"Okay .... I love you too, Jason. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, princess."

I hung up before pushing my phone into my pocket, turning to the front door and walking inside.

"Jason!" Alex yelled, his face red with anger as he came down the stairs. I furrowed my eyebrows, what the fuck did I do now? He motioned for me to follow him into the basement downstairs as he reached the last step. I followed him and saw one of my gang members, Kalum, sitting tied to a chair in the middle of the basement, his face dripping with blood. I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at Alex.

"What's going on?"

He growled, jabbing a finger towards Kalum, "This dumb ass motherfucker just got us into a hellava lot of shit."

I sighed, running my hands through my hair "Alex, you deal with it, I don't have time for this."

Alex chuckled dryly, "No, I think you're gonna wanna hear what he did ." He scoffed, looking at Kalum " .. Because his actions have an effect that means you won't be able to see Iris for a long, long time."

My eyes hardened, my blood boiling as I glared at him "What the fuck did you do?"
